How does that indicate alignment tho?
it doesn't on its own, but i'm taking the whole creature in his entirety and weighing points for and against his towniness. i dont have a lot of meaty content to go with.

I actually read all of it this time.

Though I'm... not sure. Rej smeared Jack a lot, though he left openings to jump off it. I could see bad Jack here. Means Rej engaged in a lot of distancing, but not in a very difficult way. Jack wasn't even up for discussion in D1 (except for his thunderdome with dunya), and his wagon didn't catch that much steam on D2.
I agree with this analysis, but it's complicated because "smearing but leaving openings to jump off" seemed like Rej's style with just about everyone. Jack was hardly unique there. He is unique in that he received a vote from Rej that never moved. And again, I can go either way on that.

If sloon is scum, his teammates are in Dunya, Colin, Jack, and Sig. That's what the readlist quoted above tells me.

No, I've never been in the habit of hunting independents. And playstyle always varies based on win conditions anyway. Why is this a concern to you right now?
linki: Shouldn't that be civ points since you'd assume scum buddies would tell him.
What?
The general consensus on LC seems to be not civvie, not super mafiaish. People don't want to lynch him out of paranoia, (Me) but we can all agree he isn't playing a very pro town game.

One option besides mafia could be 3rd party, but that's a through out thought.
Where are you getting this general consensus from? I am specifically accusing LC of being mafia based on his interactions with Rej. My voice is consensus.

Based off of Rej alone: Sloonie, Jack and Speed would be 3 to pursue.

Ignoring Rej: Creature, LC, Speed, and Collins. I don't remember why I voted for him, but since I did I'll throw that down.

Combo of both in order of whom I'd lynch: Creature, Speed, LC then Sloonie.

DDL is probably my tin foil mafia read right now.

Talk to me about Speed sig. Is it strictly you forgetting about him?
Part gut and part forgetting. I also found some of his posts off, but I can't think of what they were right now.

My thing is it seems like he's being active enough to be active and around, but not really doing much. Which irony I'm doing the same thing, but Ik im not mafia. :p
He hasn’t posted like all day.

More to the point, nothing Speed has said has pinged me. I have a decent track record of reading Speed with a skew towards scumreading him when he’s town sometimes and rarely townreading him when he’s scum.

Plus, a bunch of people are really suspicious so chances are anyone who I even townlean is just town.

Hm.

Probably Colin, unless something's changed in the 36 hours I haven't been in game. Colin is usually a presence, and he's like a void in my head right now.

I might jump there anyway. I don't like that there are no big voices on the Sloon train. Makes it feel weird.

wow you really give zero fucks this game, you must be a civ, you would never fuck up your mafia brethern like that? playing this jaded?

did anything else in this DP caught your attention? I haven't seen many reads about Mac. He just seems to carry some energy with him, energy I haven't seen in much of his D0/D1 plays.
Is the first half of this post a sarcasm? Because it seems like one to me.
tbh I am 50/50, it's true that Dragos overall behaviour in mafia changed, from game to game he gives less a fuck, that is reasonable if you busy yourself with other things, but still a mafia drago wouldn't make himself such an easy target I feel, tho town drago tends to do help town in any kind of form
Those two fifties have completely opposite meanings

[VOTE: Rej] aubergine
Sarcastic interpretation = "I suspect you because you're trying too hard to act like you don't care."
Not-Sarcastic interpretation = "You must not be scum."

50-50 has no meaning. The answer I received here was a full paragraph of nothing, no opinion, no substance. Like I'm listening to a presidential speech.

Yeah. Like idk why you said the things that were bad for me and Boo were bad for me and Boo.
See if you'd actually read the post you'd notice that I came out of it feeling good about you.
I felt bad about boo because rej made no comment on him at all until slapping a random unexplained vote on him mid-day 2, then quickly moved it off of him. It looked like an empty attempt to distance himself from a teammate. I had similar misgivings about his vote for you, which I expressed, but ultimately came off of because his vote remained on you. I guess it's possible to read those votes the other way around: you were the distanced partner, and boo was the random civilian being shaded. But if I am being asked to choose to pick one over the other, I'd say the boo vote looks worse. Or maybe you're both town. I find it unlikely that he'd vote for two partners at once.
I did read it and I was perplexed by the color.

See, that all sounds like wifom mumbo jumbo. There are parts I can get behind but the only lead me to conclusions I already knew were true like “both Boo and Jack are not wolves.”

I'm always going to be considering as many possibilities as I can. I did not have a firm read on you one way or the other, but I settled on a town lean. That's not conclusive or definitive, and the reasons for that are in the thread. Would you like me vote for you?

You mean this? It doesn't do much for me. His response to your question seemed to suggest that he had his angle clearly in mind but didn't want to put it out there until he had a response.

And wondering why I didn't stay on Sig yesterday.
What does it say?
That Sig is bad.
Your Dunyadar is busted if you’re picking up Sig reads.
No man, by "dunyadar" I mean dunya herself.
Oh.

Well it doesn’t matter if she’s scum now does it?

A: what you're missing from that
B: i see what you mean

(A) implies that Dunya has seen the post (as she has) and that it wasn't enough for her because of reason A.
(B) implies that Dunya is... agreeing? with sloonei?

Do you have a side on this, or are you just gonna waffle around and throw shade?

Ok so dunya I just checked all the games Creature played this year and you weren't in them.

I did host one game with him (GIrl Genius) but you didn't play it.

And I did host one game that you played (Double Jesater) at NF but Creature didn't. He doesn't have a NF account afaik.

I think your head imagined having played with Creature. :shifty:

I don't like how hard it was to get Jack to talk about Creature after he posed as the Authority on Creature on Day 0.

He is also another player who is a shadow of his former self.
I’ve never claimed to be able to give a correct Creature read on D0. In fact, I think I said I could do it by D2 and here we are.

Yes you should. I’ve correctly pegged town Creature on D1 in like four games.

But I didn’t say he was town here. :mafia:

Long Con wrote: Tue Dec 10, 2019 11:53 am Took a look at Dom's ISO. It's not that long of a read. It consists of him asking superbasic questions ("And what does asking superbasic questions mean to you?") and telling people they're full of shit. No follow-up detected, so the questions appear to be designed to look probing, but it falls very flat every time. What that means to me is that Dom wishes to look aggressive toward Jack and nutella, and to seem game-solvey with the questions, but isn't putting any real heart into them. Questions without purpose are filler, and filler is a scum tell.

Yeah it was this post. It was all agreeable and game-solvey so I became LC's #1 fan.

Then... I dunno.
