I mean You forgot your passport in your residency test, what do you expect? Smh. [jk, hope you got it sorted tho]
Omg the feeling when I was standing there, next in line to be processed, and I realised.
The guy asked how close I lived (20 min walk), thought for a long moment, then told me to run and get it. I called my wife and she offered to drive it partway to me, but we ended up on parallel roads looking for each other for five minutes, me jogging around trying to find where she was, and finally realising the park on 'Manor Park Road' I said to meet at was one road over from another park on 'Manor Lane Road'.
Got back 5 minutes after the test was supposed to start and they let me sit it. I was counting the questions I was less confident on and I had exactly the number I was allowed to get wrong, so I had a long ten minutes of suddenly thinking I might've failed, then had to check online for my results. My phone wasn't loading the government page correctly, but I had fortunately brought my laptop with me, so I ran to a coffeeshop to check.
Anyway, yeah. Emotional rollercoaster.
Thats just so wild that they force u to take a test and if u fail they kick u out of the country....
Like what the fuck lmao? What even is that test? Why?
I understand some countries dont want fully open borders for immigrants but.... A test????
It's not quite that strict. Like I could've retaken it if I needed to, I just would have to pay the fee again.
But yeah, the UK is kinda strict on immigration stuff these days. And the test itself is ridiculous. I've enjoyed spending the past month asking my British friends questions from it (like how many members in the Welsh Assembly, which town has a horse racing museum, etc) and seeing them not know the answers.
Wow u need to know some useless trivia in order to earn the right to stay in the country even if youre an otherwise perfectly legal immigrant who pays taxes and has a job....
That kinda irks me ngl. Like how fucking detached from reality are the people who passed that bill. "UK immigrants should pay a fee so they can play a game of jeopardy and if they lose we kick em outta country, LOL!!!!"

if you're hoping to pocket well what a grand day this is
I feel like you're loose enough that you're unlikely to end up my D1 vote
so if you're town you're playing well, if you're wolf then relish a small victory, if I'm left alive I will always solve correctly no matter how long it takes
what an odd time to threaten me.
There were plenty of better ones earlier
listen you were given a blessing and chose to act snide in the face of it
you're definitely off my potential D1 votes list, if I'm wrong I will definitely vote one of your teammates so I'm quite content with this

Catching up wasn't really helpful, the amount of fluff is one of a day 0 at Syndicate but this is day 1 and no one is really scum hunting, so wolves can post and have good mood and vibes.
While I agree about the fluff, scum hunting is a particularly individual engagement in the early game, and I’m sure it’s happening between the marshmallows. What more can we do but vibe?
Day 1 is your boss’s birthday party, and things are going fine but you don’t want to be the one to talk about work*. That’s for working hours.
*unless you’re a little brown-noser and want your boss to see you taking initiative while away from the desk

Skimmed here and there. Didn't know Mac was a fellow Scorpio.
Tutuu has good posts. Upon checking Mac's posts, I'm not sure about him yet. Syn seems to be...underwhelming. Made had some sus posts, so I'll ISO that.

Ok who here is the foremost Witcher expert? I know of that dude with the smirk and the scar and litttteralllly nothing else. Anyone a lorekeeper we can go to for juicy thematic interpretation?
If so, I won’t vote for you day 1. So, witch of you is it
@MacDougall this gave me strong deja vu to Elder Scrolls where he opened with some seemingly awkward mech type posts and got suspected early
like it's not a mech post but it's similar see
anyway that's my flimsy reason for not voting Scotty what say you
And it was very helpful when a few people chimed in about ES and could lay a groundwork for mech theme.
The only person that has even really attempted to answer that call is Ender, and I’m currently voting him lol

Thats true, scotty usually comes out the gate with a read or two
How convenient of you to latch on to this point, even though it’s patently false, and you’ve been all over this thread. I’ll keep that in mind foe the future

How am I supposed to read Rondo
is this normal
this is actually the most lucid he's sounded on a D1
Lmaoooo
I agree rondo sounds very reasonable here compared to before which probably means hes mafia
I sussed Scotty
He was like oh yeah Scotty loves to give reads
I asked how many games he played with Scotty
He went to water and bailed on the game so he didn't get caught in a lie.
He is transparently mafia.
nah again, I am not answering your question because I chose not to.
I left the game because I didnt want to start insulting KZA
MacDougall wrote: ↑Fri Aug 27, 2021 3:32 am
I sus Scotty for not having reads
Rondo says "yeah Scotty usually does"
I think to myself, aren't you new? How do you have a baseline for this? I ask how many games he's played.
He dodges the question, refuses to answer, gets defensive and runs out of the thread.
Okay like maybe Rondo is town but I'm never getting there now lol.

KZA and Mac are voting Urist, I'm assuming that means he's town. I actually can read him really well, but I don't see the point now when I already have that info as confirmation.
This is my contribution for today.
Tutuu is a mafioso, no one is going to vote them today except for me, I think this game randed a mafia win... Those are my predictions.
Ah yes the old Mac's always wrong read. High quality.
Doesn't have to be high quality in order to be right.
