I'm also making the terrible decision of trusting moonwink for today after some amount of over-thinking

don't feel like I have anything else to say atm other than re-iterating my activity for D1 will be fairly low; expect practically no activity from me once it goes beyond 24 hours from now. D2+ should be much better.

What did you over-think over Moonwink about?

well last/only time I played with them I was hesitant on town reading them but was correct when I did

thing is large part of what I town-read them for back then, they're kinda doing a fair amount this game as if its just natural to them regardless of alignment

but I found something new that I feel points to town, and I'm not going to elaborate on my thoughts beyond that for now

Imo, Lucy is a weirder than usual rn. The mechanical way of asking people what their experience is. I mean, sure. She can talk about how she wants to use it and what she gains from it.
I liked how Moon responded to Lucy's question. Saying he doesn't have a preference for how she should approach him. I wouldn't call it evasive as much as holding his cards close to his chest. Evasive would in my mind imply he wasn't direct, but I felt he was very direct. I guess Epi was "evasive", but I personally don't care.
Dolby can post a lot or slank. He's a good player as both alignments. I'm hoping he'll post a lot, cause it's just better for the game when people do, but we'll see.

I think you did. I think Epig saw your posting as fake. But I just think both you and Moon has a tone that is more "fluffy and pink", that can probably come across as fake. Or at least, your tone hasn't bothered me. Maybe Epig was talking about your interaction specifically though, but I'll let him follow through on that if he wants.

If I wanted to overthink, I would think about what it means that you were conscious enough about how I read you that you read that comment as a scum lean on you. But I don't think that's the kind of overthinking that is productive.

I have a BA in English Language and Literature. I retired from teaching this year after twelve years in the field.

Strengths as mafia? I don't snitch.

Weaknesses as mafia? Never saw any of the Godfather or Scarface movies.

Strengths as town? I taught school for twelve years, as mentioned, thereby strengthening the town.

Weaknesses as town? The ever-increasingly complicated federal tax code.

As for my answer, pretty much unless thread dies (in which case my playstyle tends to change a fair bit a tries to push for content generation), I typically start aiming for interactions that I can think of until I am confident in my reads. If I don't think I can get a useful interaction (either due to lack of creativity or given nature of the slot), I tend to lean on reads of others with respect to them or try to figure a creative solution. When I'm confident enough in a mafia read I'll start pushing it. If there's discussion or pushes over my confident town-reads I also tend to engage those discussions and pushers. In some cases this has happened as early as D1, both for pushing mafia and for defending town-reads.

TripleHaven has however, as we were both mafia in a past game, so it kinda surprised me that they v-read me already over something they saw me post rather than any interaction with me. If they're judging that post based on my mafia skill level, I'd say it would at least a bit lower than it should be.

Regarding lucy, I think I lean town there too, but I suppose getting to know other players could be kind of like hiding behind mechanics. You look like you are doing something, but you aren't really doing anything to progress the game.

1. Didn't ask why at all, rather why him of all who would qualify thus far. His second post was responsive to MO inquiry.

Dunno about minimum post ruling, but as far as lowest of low-posting goes, I believe there's still a player with zero.
