Just going to do this again in reverse.

I saw a preview for TDM and can finally confirm that it is an actual movie and not some random shit I found on Google.

Shitty teen-fiction moneybrab will do.

Yeah, I picked oceans 8 because I figured it for a solid 80-100m even if it flopped.

I considered mindy kaling but only if she makes it into wreck it Ralph, which appears uncertain.

Blanchett still has 17 other movies though.

We're in the Alternate Universe/Reality wherein all movie stars have been replaced with Cate Blanchett.

In which case I drop Mahershala Ali but not Armie Hammer, and I pick up Emma Stone, but not Rachel Weisz. To be absolutely technically correct, I did pickup Rachel Weisz and am now dropping her to properly pick up Emma Stone.

If I had my time over I might have picked up BlackKklansman, but at the time I felt like a Spike Lee joint can't really win with the big awards. I'm beginning to feel like I was wrong, and this might be Jay's to win.

It honestly looked to me like a good Action flick and the trailer was dope as hell, so yeah. Good pick, and good movie I guess. Haven't seen it or anything but I'll catch it when I can.

To be fair, it's left me quite reliant upon First Man (and with crap box office offsets, but I don't think that matters at this point). Oh well though, because Joel Edgerton was pretty much an "I have to make a pick in the next two minutes; I have no clue; here's a person's name; have a go at it Joel" pick.

Also I might be screwed if Beale Street doesn't release on time. That's still uncertain.

I think not. Movies like that don’t have to be amazing to get a tonne of makeup, costume etc nominations or wins, and i still think it’s a good bet for best actress. The trailer looked basically exactly how I expected.
