My beef is really with the city of Tampa for reasons that have nothing to do with football, but I’m kind of liking them beating the odds right now. Anybody who expects the Fitzmagic Experience to end well for their franchise, though, should read his Wikipedia page...

That said I am absolutely picking them against Pittsburgh. Those guys are a mess.

The numbers suggest regression, but dear Lord the Bucs have such a cupcake schedule for the most part. They beat up on the Saints (who almost lost to the Browns today), and they beat Nick Foles and company (who have not looked great). Up next are the Steelers (who almost lost to the Browns and did lose today), the Bears (who?), the Falcons (that's a tough one, I think), the Browns ( ), the Panthers (who have been solid despite injuries and a receiving corp full of people I've never heard of until today), and then the Redskins ( ) and the Giants (who?).

So who knows. I'm still learning "fluky," but they have looked good, no doubt.

The Bears should be a pretty good match-up. That defense is no joke.

I fell asleep before the second half of last week’s game, but still ...

Meanwhile, Denver. Jesus.

That roster is no joke. They have to win eventually and I think it’s a relatively even match-up but I give them the edge.

I think Cleveland has outplayed their opponents both weeks so far, and found miraculous Cleveland ways to prevent themselves from winning.

Against the meh Jets on Thursday night (road teams are especially ass on Thursday quick turnarounds), I give them the edge. If they Browns it up that’d be fine. I’ve picked a week where the only AFC North team to lose is my own team, so being wrong would be super.

I remove ties because I don't think it's reasonable to ask anyone to predict a tie.

I'd be very grateful if the Bucs can carry on their early nonsense for at least one more week. Every Pittsburgh loss makes life a little brighter.

Carlos Hyde is still at the hospital awaiting the birth of his child after his lady being induced and being in labor. He expects to meet his team at the stadium in time for kickoff.

Not over yet, but Baker made this a completely different franchise. Slow start, but this is probably the best game I’ve seen so far this season. And as I type, Darnold is just slinging it. Wow.
