Not sure what kind of information everyone usually shares but a friend got me into this site. I've always loved murder mysteries hence my interest in playing. Sherlock is one of my favorite mystery related shows and I also enjoyed the movies.

nice to meet you too sabie - don't be afraid of our weird antics - just jump in and play. We will ask clarifying questions if you do anything that seems odd. In the mean time have fun! :) oh - also - if you have questions about how to use anything in the site - feel free to ask the thread. - there's a mod or so playing and most of us are pretty familiar with things.

You mean that game where I was scum, missed two votes, and frequently went for periods longer than my absence until just now without posting? I'm not quiet, but I'm not exactly prolific either. Aggressive scumhunting and number of posts are two non-sequiters.

Ilama is rubbing me the wrong way. He's trying to look supatown on Day 1, having a lot of suspicions, none of which are well-founded at all. He seemed fully prepared to vote for inactive players, then tried to pass it off as pressure. He had his eye on A Person for posting early (seriously?) and Roxy for a pretty absurd misinterpretation of one of her posts. There's not much to go off of, sure, so it makes sense to go off of little. But llama seems way too confident, to the degree that it seems like he knows everyone's alignment.

I hope supatown stays a thing, I like it.

Also, I'm feeling like Llama is probably a proactive civ, so I need to look over the rest to see where I stand on the board. Most players haven't made much impression so far.

A proactive Civ? All I have seen is him act unusual and try to "stir the pot" to get certain people to cause conflict. Doesn't seem Civ like behavior in the least to me. Voting for a non participant always is a bad idea if you are Civ, and considering the game started a few hours on a holiday weekend before I can check in that he says he wanted to "get us to react" etc. doesn't feel any good to me. I'm most likely giving him my vote tomorrow. I don't what proactive Civ you see in him by most of the talk here about apples and off topic being helpful. Which makes me worried about you as well to say that about Llama.

I'm not cranky, I'm saying it's very suspicious to me to make such a bold statement and assumption THAT early and be acting so cocky that he is sure he is awesome etc. He's really rubbing me the wrong way and Dfaraday trying to vouch for him that he's Civ isn't setting right with me either. I think he's acting very off compared to the games I have played with him recently. Either he's being weird on purpose, or he's confident you his teammates can assure he isn't going anywhere for a while for the behavior he has been showing in the thread, but in no way has he been contributing as a proactive civ as DFar stated.

This is an interesting theory and would be quite the innovative twist, but there are baddies listed among the roles. That is the only hole I can find in your suggestion.

"Lynching non-participants is always a bad idea if you are civ" is not remotely true. There have been lots of baddie non-participants and lynching them is good.

Furthermore, my objective in stirring the pot was to get people talking on topic. We had no real discussion, and nothing to go on, so throwing out a few accusations to see how people reacted is a good way to get the ball rolling. When people are accused, they react, and sometimes a lot can be gleaned from their reactions. I would say it's working.

I am always this cocky, btw. :)

I'm honestly not seeing Llama as bad. He's being cocky and over-confident sure, but I don't think an evil Llama would behave like that so quickly knowing he'd probably draw negative attention to himself.

I'm not liking where this is going. Having said that, Boogs reads as genuine to me. Keterman, on the other hand, just kind of jumped in after Boogs made his case and dropped a vote on Llama. I found that a bit off, so I'll vote Keterman.

I dunno, Keterman's vote seems about as argumented as Boogs', and Hedge's was pretty much random. It's possible that they're all civs. But if it's between Keterman and Llama, I'd rather vote Keterman.
