The games only have about a dozen players and have longer cycles, so it isn't too much of a commitment.

Please play.
This!

Let's see if we can round up 3 more players so that this game can be run. KSite has always been incredibly welcoming to all of us, and we've managed to have some cross-over of the communities, but I really would like to see more. We've seen more than a few KSiters bridge over to our community, most notably FZ. and to a lesser extent, K4J. They are really, really nice and amazing mafia players, and they would love to play with more of us! :)

Hey all!

You (yes, you) should consider playing Mafia #86 on RYM. Their participation over here (acrosstheaether, JaggedJimmyJay, sanmateo, Sloonei) in the ongoing Economics game has been incredibly appreciated, and any way we can continue this site partnership with them would be a boon for both communities. Not to mention a lot of fun!

It's David Bowie themed (you heard me), has a Day 0, and will be open setup. So far, yours truly and your friendly neighborhood marmot (Metalmarsh89) are signed up. It'll be a good time!

jasonC is hosting Masquerade Arena game on jesustoastmafia. I don't know much about it other then it was described by some as better then mafia and like the Hunger Games. You still have until tomorrow to sign up for a chance to be one of 15 players or a sponser. It sounds like a lot of fun though and I think some of you would enjoy it.

There is also two spots available for [adult swim.] mafia hosted by Largo on awardswatch. This is a closed setup, and infodumping/roleclaiming is allowed.

Manga Mashup IV, on Naruto Forums.

http://www.narutoforums.com/showthread.php?t=1040106

35-40 players, with roles from different mangas. I've never played a game by this host (Laix), but I watched his last game, and it was AMAZING. Expect a fast paced role madness trollfest with emphasis on the "madness" part, and cool write-ups.

His last game was open-setup with a few hidden roles. I don't know what this one will be, but I expect something similar.

He asked to advertise it, so I'm doing it.

This time it's a game I'm hosting myself. Along with WolfPrinceKiba (aka Soneji).

This is one of NF's traditions: Favorites V. It's a game where each player submits a character they like (can be literally ANY character), and the hosts will make a role in the game for every single character submitted.

[link corrupted, removed -JJJ]

The game will probably start on early August. It will have a minimum of 40 and a maximum of 60 players. Phases are 24/24 and the game will be closed setup with role reveals allowed.

One cool thing about this game is that there is no way of knowing whether a character is good or bad based on their original work of fiction. For example, in the last Favorites, we had Korra as a mafia godfather and God as a serial killer.

Yes! Please, people. We need to represent at RYM, since they've been so welcoming to us over there, and very willing to come play games over here. Unfortunately, I can't play mafia for a couple of months, so someone better make up for this!

And oh man, this sounds so awesome. Too bad it'll be early August and not late August! I'll be busy getting married. Bummer.

I envy those who will be playing, that's for sure. Soneji is an amazing host, and I can only imagine DDL is as well. I really think anyone even slightly intrigued from TS should consider playing this. :srsnod:

Best of luck in running it, DDL!

Well if you're lucky enough the game might be delayed, since it'll only start after Manga Mashup ends. If you aren't.... I intend to host a Homestuck game by myself right after this one.

(yeah I know, two games in a row, but gotta make those games happen before summer is over and the forum dies again...)

RYM Game #89 is in sign-ups now if anyone is interested.

I'm told the theme is not to be fully revealed, but that it will be inspired in part by the video game "Heavy Rain". It will be a closed setup with some "experimental" wrinkles.

The moderator is hoping for 16 players; I doubt he'd object to more.

Link to the sing-up thread

As always, we'd love to have anyone join us. :)

I was hoping to see if anyone would be interested in helping me out by voting mine. It does come with the intention that you will play the setup itself as well.

You will need to make an account to vote but its lots of fun

It turns out the game I mentioned earlier is cancelled because the moderator-to-be was banned. :P

However, we're still going to run a game with all of the same signer-uppers as before. We need four more to complete the roster:

Setup: champs game 13 player speed game

Theme: AOL Chat Room Mafia

https://rateyourmusic.com/board_message ... 0&start=60

Come on by. MP and FZ have already joined us and we're thrilled to have them.

Hello all!

I've posted signups on Jesus Toast Mafia for my Teen Wolf role madness game - it was hugely successful on my home forum, and I'm really looking forward to running it on a more serious mafia site. We could use some more players, so anyone that's interested please take a look, see if it's to your liking!

http://jesustoastmafia.com/index.php/to ... 31315.html

PM me here or on JTM as Cobalt if you have any questions. Thank you guys! Can't wait to play another game here soon when my schedule is free, I'll be GMing this one and one on my home forum at the same time.

Sign ups are a bit slow ATM, we're almost half full but there's still 15 more slots. We wouldn't be starting until around Monday or Tuesday.

Don't worry, the crazy bullshit with Icege last game was the only time that's really happened in recent history. I will absolutely not be allowing that kind of crap to happen in my game haha. Sorry you had to see that.

Our forum scared you? How?

Also 90's kids mafia was a largely isolated incident. Even before JTM started, on SRK, a game like that has never happened. The main mistake was MP letting Icege play which we didnt really understand, because nobody liked that fucking guy. For reasons you saw yourself, because he was an asshat.

Come on, give us another chance Jezebel!

Meh people dont ever actually mean that stuff. "lrn 2 read pls" and shit like that is always used in jest. Think of it like a construction site, where all the workers are constantly taking jabs at each other but dont actually mean what they're saying. They're just bullshitting each other because they're having fun.
I will say that the first person who tells me to learn to read will get told to go fuck themself, lol
You're within your rights on JTM to do that ya know. Though we've been cracking down pretty hard on inter-player discrepancies ever since he who shall not be named so it's unlikely that you would need to.

So on my homesite (sc2mafia) we just finished our poll but it was a tie vote.

There has been some debate about having both runned. Hoever we do not have enough players to play both. I was wondering if anyone would be intrested in playing the games?

If so send me a PM about it. Both setups are semi-open with intresitng mechanics.

I'm trying to fill 9 spots for my 2 mafia team Supernatural game that's supposed to start on my home forum GTF tomorrow. Any TS peeps can come through. Just don't put your age in when you sign up, new members aren't supposed to be older than 19 but for necessary mafia spots the mods kind of turn a blind eye to it. And pretty much just stick to the mafia thread. You don't have to be LGBT, so no worries. We bring other mafia players from other sites for subs sometimes. :)
