Epi, do you think sorsha could really follow that up to be a legitimate ping? Give me an example of how?
I'm not voting for epi today.
I'm saying Sorsha made a weak statement Day 1 she could choose to follow through with without consequence, or back off on it and pass it off as banter.
To me, that's Day 1 bad.
That she went ahead and voted for me only makes me think worse of her.

Oh yeah, I see what you mean.
The reason I will not vote for you is that you are the first person to actually provide a rational (potential-alignment-related) justification for why you would vote a certain way.

Well now you're probably holding it to save yourself :P But with less than three hours to go I wasn't sure why you didn't just follow through and see what shakes out. Maybe you were holding it in case you needed to save a teammate, is what I briefly wondered to myself.

If I know I am going to be available, I almost always wait until the last possible minute. However, I had spent the entire time just watching things and felt I should say something once something caught my eye. It did, so I did.
But yes, now I have to stay up later than I was expecting.

My preference would be a TH vote, but I don't want to spread the vote any further. I don't want to vote epi, nor others who seem to have been having poor day one runs like Scotty, I think lacey is probably the way I'll go. Llama possibly.

Sorsha was the first person I said I was not going to vote for and I don't want to go back on that. Also, I don't agree with epi's reasons for suspecting her, I don't actually think she can follow that through to become a legitimate suspicion, I think it was just a random reason for a random vote with no real ping.
@TH - bouncing off you is fine, anyone who is here!
I think the merit is in lynching an absentee, someone who cannot contribute to the cause. I would definitely lynch her tomorrow if she still isn't here, but is now too early? Maybe, in a speed game.

Since there is a system in place to deal with inactives, a lacey vote is not necessary.
Lynching llama on Day 1 should be the new time-honored tradition. That aside, he is acting like llama (rash and adverse).
Are those your only two options?

Not a whole lot to go on yet. But I'm going for a vote on Sorsha due to what I consider to be an empty-veiled threat directed at Epig with little to no provocation.

Sorsha was the first person I said I was not going to vote for and I don't want to go back on that.
But you said that because of an off-topic joke she made. What's wrong with going back on that?

But she can turn it into a legitimate vote; that was Epi's whole point.

BWT took the pressure off, epi has options.
@MM - I think those are my two best options... to make a vote that is meaningful.
@TH - anyone can turn anything into a 'legitimate vote' on day 1 if by legitimate you just mean 'actual'. Epi explained to me his perspective, I do not agree. I don't find Sorsha suspicious, and I am not voting that way.

Ice to See You
The players gathered in the hall once more to take stock of the situation. Their search had proven mildly inconveniencing, what with the lacerations and concussions inflicted by the baleful books. But the family fortune was at risk, and head trauma was a small price to pay to protect one's place in succession.
"I think it was Lacey!" said Llama.
"I think it was Llama!" said Golden.
"I think it was Golden!" said Sorsha. "I jest, I think it was Epi!"
"Yes, his fancy talk and highbrow attitude is clearly put on!" agreed Greybonez. "I daresay he's not really nobility at all!"
They grabbed Epi and placed him on a chair with a noose around his neck. Unfortunately, the chandelier from which the noose was suspended gave way under the pressure and plummeted towards Llama, who was standing directly under it.
It landed directly in front of Llama, smashing a floorboard down and causing the opposite end of the board to spring upwards. Epi's chair was sadly placed on that end, and he was launched through the gaping hole which now pierced the roof. He crashed into the nearby frozen pond and sank to a watery grave. His dandyish hat floated to the surface symbolically.
Epignosis has been lynched. He was Asquith D'Ysquith Jr.
It is now night. You have Twenty-THREE hours to submit your PMs.

Because of those with votes llama and lacey were the only two I considered good votes, llama's vote
As for your second question, yeah I really have no good reason for that. I just get frustrated with and don't have much sympathy for absenteeism. But I don't know why I said it, except that in the moment I was frustrated, because I'd much sooner vote you tomorrow. Anyone I have a legitimate actual suspicion of, in fact.
