I'll do B and dig two increments and then try as long as it takes to get through (for the first hole)
You dig twice costing you 4 energy. It took 3 tries, but you finally fit, retrieved your bag and got back through. The whole ordeal took you 90 secondsQuin wrote:I'll do B and dig two increments and then try as long as it takes to get through (for the first hole)
For the second hole, dig one increment and try at most three times.Scotty wrote:You dig twice costing you 4 energy. It took 3 tries, but you finally fit, retrieved your bag and got back through. You wrap 5 segments together and attempt to reach the key. You do so, and it doesn't wilt at all! You retrieve the first key! That took you 1 minute 40 secondsSorsha wrote:Part one option a: build five sections and try, adding one section each time it fails until I finish
Thank god, I was thinking about asking you the same thing.Scotty wrote:ATTENTION: due to my limited availability, I have to extend this phase by 24 hours. I'm sorry if this screws up people's schedules but I'm not close to finishing this challenge
Thank you, Scottyjeff!Scotty wrote:ATTENTION: due to my limited availability, I have to extend this phase by 24 hours. I'm sorry if this screws up people's schedules but I'm not close to finishing this challenge
Oh thank god. I was going to have to try to do it all in an hourScotty wrote:ATTENTION: due to my limited availability, I have to extend this phase by 24 hours. I'm sorry if this screws up people's schedules but I'm not close to finishing this challenge
You won't be able to. I've been doing the balancing act thing for the past 5 hours.Opt_Outside wrote:Oh thank god. So the instructions say I only need to build the pole once, do I need to do anything threadwise to get the second key?Scotty wrote:You wrap 5 segments together and attempt to reach the key. Since you have built the pole, im assuming you are looking to use the same technique to get the other key.Sorsha wrote:So the instructions say I only need to build the pole once, do I need to do anything threadwise to get the second key?Scotty wrote:You wrap 5 segments together and attempt to reach the key. You fasten 5 segments together, taking 1 minute & 40 seconds, then reach through the bars for the 1st key. It fails to reach all 3 times, costing you 15 seconds.Opt_Outside wrote:Okay I'm going to build a pole 5 segments long and reach for the first key. I'll try a max of three times if it fails to reach and see how that goes.
Try one more time.Scotty wrote:You fasten 5 segments together, taking 1 minute & 40 seconds, then reach through the bars for the 1st key. You reach it! You pull it back carefully and retrieve your first key!Opt_Outside wrote:Try one more time.Scotty wrote:You fasten 5 segments together, taking 1 minute & 40 seconds, then reach through the bars for the 1st key. You reach through and fail to reach the key all 3 times.Opt_Outside wrote:Okay now I'll try for the second key with the same five segment pole a max of three times
Are you kidding meScotty wrote:You reach through and fail to reach the key all 3 times.Opt_Outside wrote:Okay now I'll try for the second key with the same five segment pole a max of three times
You quickly try again- fail, and then once more, and reach it! You bring it back and open the box of puzzle pieces. A little bit of trouble there, but you got it in the end!Opt_Outside wrote:Are you kidding meScotty wrote:You reach through and fail to reach the key all 3 times.Opt_Outside wrote:Okay now I'll try for the second key with the same five segment pole a max of three times
Try two more times

You dig one increment, and fail to fit under all 3 times. You try once more and fit through and retrieve your second key! On your way back, you struggle to get through once, but then make it on your second try. This room took you 1 minute and 10 seconds.Quin wrote:Keep going until I fit.Scotty wrote:You dig one increment, and fail to fit under all 3 times. Well said! I'm really glad to be here with all of you- you're all great players. And you've all saved my neck in this game at some point. I respect you all enough to say that I know we have to vote against each other after this challenge, but whatever the vote is I won't be blindsiding or lying to anyone. I think you all deserve that. Good luck everyone!LoRab wrote:Just realized that I was so caught up in the challenge that I never congratulated all of us on making it to the final 4! Seriously, it hasn't been easy, and I think we all deserve to be here. Whoever of us makes it to the final 3 will deserve to be there and it will be a fair race to the end. Whichever of us is eliminated will be a difficult choice and it will suck, but whoever that person is (and if that is me), there is honor in having made it this far. And whoever is eliminated does have the power of the jury, which is not a power to be underestimated.
Well played to you all. You have my respect. High fives all around.
Alright.Opt_Outside wrote:Quin- if lorab and sorsha are already talking then you and me for btsc?
lmao so even if I hadn't messed up the puzzle, I'd barely have made 3rd placeScotty wrote:Final times from that challenge:

Yeah, I was doomed.
I didn't poison either of you. I think it was a game mechanic, because I don't see how one person could target both of you in one night, especially when there was already a role that could do that.LoRab wrote:Quin, based on several different factors, you seem the most likely candidate to have poisoned Golden and me. Did you do this? And if so, why? If not, then who do you think did it?
Process of elimination.Quin wrote:Want to tell me what those factors are?
I thought based on Elo's revealed role that she was the one who poisoned you guys? After she was voted out one of her abilities was like "can poison the food twice"LoRab wrote:Process of elimination.Quin wrote:Want to tell me what those factors are?
And I reject the idea that it was a game mechanic. The PM said "you were poisoned," which is an active thing, and exactly what was said in the PM when I was poisoned last time. It was not, "you got sick," which is something completely different. I assume someone found an item which allowed them to target people with poison. The only other possibility is that Golden poisoned me and was faking it himself, and that is not something I believe is in his character to do.
LoRab wrote:So, are any of us leaning towards voting off a particular other of us? Do we want to think about making general pleas to each other? How do we want to do this? Quin addressed Sorsha about making a case for himself, but that sort of ignored the fact that we all have a vote this round. It's not just Sorsha's decision. (however easier this might be if it were...well, not for sorsha)
Hey, ScottyJeff: How are ties decided?
3. Night phases, should the team not win immunity, will consist of Tribal Council, where one player will be voted out of the tribe at the end of the phase via privately-messaged votes. All ties are to be randomly decided among the tied players.
I'd love to have an open discussion about it and see where everyone is at. Everyone but sorsha only has two options. I don't know what to do between quin and lorab- I feel a lot of loyalty to both of you.LoRab wrote:So, are any of us leaning towards voting off a particular other of us?
