Yes I literally voted Croutons bc he was inactive and I wanted him to show the hell up. It wasn't me thinking he was scum bc there's no way of me knowing that when he doesn't post. By decent case I assume you mean case that puts me in negative light. I've been so fluffy I feel like Gabriel Iglesias aside from a few posts with reads and basic analysis
But Floyd *never* showed up. Why didn’t he get your vote?

I was second to vote for him, idk why you voted for him but it was prolly for unrelated reasons

Yeah I looked into it, and I realize the part I find odd is wolbre stating he placed the second vote on Choutas when Choutas had no votes, which says nothing about your vote. And it could just be his definition of a wagon, calling your vote the first one on the wagon even though yours was gone by the time wolbre made his.

@Everybody

Only two bad guys remain. It may seem early, but POE is your friend. If you can narrow the pool down to about five suspects, you're giving yourself a great opportunity. If you can't, then you have alerted yourself to the investigative pursuits you need to work on. With 2 mafia alive against 11 civilians, we can mislynch four times before arriving at a LyLo phase (assuming no prevented kills and no shenanigans). Also be aware that the presence of a temporarily lynch-immune bad guy can interfere with that considerably.

Sorry for being a bit low-key in the past 24-48 hours or so; I'm now playing another mafia game on Personality Cafe (because I'm a masochist and addict, apparently), and between that, The Genius, increasing workload, and working a bit more on preparing for the move, it's increasingly a bit harder to find time. I'll definitely be back later tonight though to see what I can analyze and throw out there.

I like loose and funny check-in posts. His felt weird. Like he had it pre-made or he didn't know what to say and just wrote 'check in post'. I like to pay attention to openers since I believe that's a very awkward phase of the game for baddies. There is no flow or pace to the game at that moment.

Aw, now I feel bad for arriving fashinably late. I didn't realize this game started so soon, and then I kind of forgot about it, cause I had stuff to do today. But I'm here just in the nick of time, so that I can create a hot potato on Nova and all will be well.^^

Am I to understand your yearning for me as a sign of you as town? I like the idea, at least. Also, it seems this game could've benefited from a Dizzy that could not shut up rather than the lack of one.

---

So far, I think I buy Jimmeeey being all tired and a bit sour, but like, what does it do though? I'm here, Jimmey, don't give up.

The only ones that I was like mmmmh is Choutas and Nova. Not sure about Eloh. Everything else neutral. Feel alright about Jimmeeey, MP, Kyle (following others maybe) and lapluie (I probably messed that name up, and this last read is from other stuff I've seen in thread as well).
This is dys’s first foray into the thread, and I like it. I like these real time interactive reads. Especially in hindsight, dys has a handle on choutas.
Dyslexicon wrote: Mon May 21, 2018 9:05 pm Read to page 11.

Players I'm looking sternly at:
Colin - Said stuff about this.
Choutas - Suffers "let's get to work" -> does nothing-syndrome we know from Wolbre in the ass-class game
Marmot - Change on me seems weird, and I just think they are scum now and I can tell these things when it comes to Marmots

Players I'm like grmpf at:
Epig - Cause huh.
Eloh - Cause huh, but also I've played once with them and they barely posted and also I think they voted me that game too. = (
Other inactives

Players I'm like awww:
MP - Cause I love him and we are buddies

I forgot that I had suspicion on Nova, but I did/do?

Quin could be ok.
Jimmeey is cute when angry and needs a hug.
Who else is in this game? Scotty is a bit anonymous. I want Nut to replace in for Floyd.
Makes a strong front against the top 3- Colin choutas and marmot. His throughline is still there, and he ends up voting for Colin but not before taking a bite of choutas’ rotten apple pie.

Even though he's cool and it doesn't matter right now.
This only slightly raises my eyebrow because he admits it’s off the wagon and calls Colin cool.

After the lynch:
Dyslexicon wrote: Tue May 22, 2018 6:38 am I'd say something like this:

Town:
Kylemii - Really like tone and interaction with choutas seems honest.
Lapluie - Like the tone, and I like to sheep Quin.
Quin - Probably town unless weird bussing.
Jimmeey - Probably town for a number of reasons.

More town than not:
Colin- Kind of purposfully exaggerated my read here to get something out of him. Haven't really made my mind up, but meh.
Wolbre - On the surface doesn't really look super good, but I definitely think they feel different from last game when they were scum.

In the POE:
Eloh - Little to go on. Throwaway vote.
Epig - Practically nothing. Where are you at? Talk about stuff.
Marmot - I will smell his urine to learn what he ate for breakfast.
MP - I actually really dislike the end of day. Seems really apathetic towards Choutas. Other players noted Choutas supposedly eager to get the game going but then doing nothing about it. MP did not take note of this, and he's a strong enough player to notice as town. The switch doesn't look good either.
Scotty - Pretty meh compared to last game when he was town. Not much to go on, but no actual suspicios stuff imo.
Nova - Not much here either. Still hold a small gut suspicion from early game.
Floyd - No show.

I'm mostly eyeing MP, Nova and Marmot. Epig also needs to do something.
I don’t quite understand the jump for Colin into civ territory and it looks like neither do you. Do you have a better idea of how that jumped?

And lol I’m “meh compared to last game” :pout:

I could be convinced that dys only had choutas on his belt pouch and not on his back because he suspected Colin more, and I could be convinced that that side eye to choutas was a slight distance in the case of this lynch happening as it did. But I’m in the camp that dys is good right now. Just curious of how hisnread of Colin has changed

Ima look at Colin next

I did jackshit in Assassination Classroom, and was part of one of the worst town losses I've ever seen.
I was very excited about U-Pick MAfia, and am annoyed that I was nightkilled Night 1.
This game was a moving at a crawl when I replaced in.

I'm channelling all of this energy into solving this game.

I forgot that no-lynch role was in and just had a thought- what if the teammate bussed that player early to get him lynched and gain civ credit? Would that even be worth it?

Hey Dizzy, if you don't mind me asking, do you have a preferred pronoun?

This crossed my mind too, with the theory that Jay lynched Choutas to give himself an incredibly amound of civ cred. Additionally, Jay is the Cadbury bunny, meaning he has one more teammate that is unlynchable, and since we're probably not lynching Jay anytime soon, they'll cruise for a while.

But this is so tinfoil, I'm not gonna ready to embrace it.

I think it would be a dumb move, but that doesn't mean nobody would do it. The objective of the mafioso is to lynch civilians. Some people have this weird urge to distance and bus whenever and wherever though. I don't necessarily think there's great evidence of that having happened here. I could consider Quin since his Choutas vote was unexplained and arbitrary.

I believe wolbre04 is in the same lineup as Cooties. The reason I say this is when he had my name in blue, he said he was thinking about "Upickem," which reminded me of this one Iranian ball player Hassan Upickem, who many years ago killed a man and acted like the victim was still alive. Crazy guy actually got away with it. This feels like a similar ruse.
I ignored this the first time because I didn't realize you were actually making a point -- I thought this was some roleplay joke that I didn't get. I have no idea what "Hassan Upickem" is, but I understand now the connection you were making (wolbre04's treatment of killed players in Ass Class).

It's regrettable that your reputation precedes you. I think it was a recent game when Spacedaisy observed you playing harder than one might expect, and she correctly attributed it to your mafia alignment. Here we are. :consoling:

It's not all your fault though. There's a big ugly spider in Choutas's ISO making you look bad.

But I’m not even talking about choutas- he was a nobody role. I’m saying that if we find the white rabbit, would the person that was propping them up look as lynch bait more or less suspicious because of it

I mean I dunno if that would be a viable strategy either, but maybe down the line if we have a few mislynches
