Epi looks a little fishy for trying to piggyback on my nova case.
Still don't like Owner.
Not getting a good vibe from Soneji. Him having a low post count is normal, but he normally comes at the end with a bunch of attacks against players and is sure of thing. Here he feels more... basic.
Mac is giving me a civ vibe. Compared to the other game where he was very tame, here he's pissed off. I like pissed off Mac.

Why is Nova super solid? I’ve played two days of another game and read most of Nutella’s champs D1 since this thread closed.
It's not like I changed my mind about the questions thing being fishy, but vote analysis > how many questions the guy is asking.
Nova was the name of the Ultra wagon. He pushed it more than everyone else. I bet he's the one mafia tried to kill tonight.
Why do you think that??? You were voting Nova at eod i’m kinda curious as to why you think mafia would kill Nova > JJJ
Cuz anyone who lynches nova is out of their mind.
While we are discussing the Jay lynch as of right now.
Okay I’ll explain to you why your answer is awful
1) Nova was a wagon yesterday, mafia would expect for town to lynch Nova eventually due to wagonomics
2)In the off chance mafia, DOESNT, expect this, they suck
3)JJJ was the highest poster, with Ultra as a scum read. While he voted Gemma, his vote ultimately ended up on a mafia.
4) While Nova DID push Ultra the hardest, JJJ wasnt at risk of being lynched, bringing it back to wagonomics of Nova
So like, why the fuck would mafia kill Nova > JJJ
I'm confused, were you not suggesting before that my JJJ save didn't make sense?
I wasnt trying to insinuate that no. I think protecting JJJ makes a lot of sense.
Dragomir wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2019 8:26 pmFirst of all, you protected JJJ over Nova? Second of all, how do you know the heal was successful? Could be more reasons for why nobody died last night aside from you protecting your target.
I still sus Owner and DDL pretty heavily. RDW is someone I'm taking interest in as well. I'm finna go back and read Ultra's interactions.
This whole post bugs me, particularly the highlighted bit. Did you try to kill me instead of nova to avoid this result?
The hell is this question?
I don't know why Gemma is required to protect nova.
I didn't say she was required to pick him. I just find Nova a better pick than you to protect.
Now, I'll be gone till morning.
My reads. Owner, DDL, and Jack are scum. Also, I feel sad how y'all are ignoring what I pointed out about Ultra and Owner being buddies.

Yes.

It's not really a meta read. It's a toneread with a small nod to meta. I pointed out motive and emotion.
did you forget that you were townreading that player
No. Because I'm not.
I have some town pings from them, but I mentioned something scummy as well. If it continues, their need to cling to and buddy Nova will easily outweigh any town cred they have.
can you explain how you got to the opinion that ultra is using nova as a clutch and how that makes him more likely to be mafia
Gemma dug in a bit on speedchuck for his read of Ultra. This means more re: speedchuck, and I am not inclined to take much from it.
novaselinenever wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2019 12:14 pm
I dig your Ultra stuff, Speed. I can see a baddie Ultra using me as a compass to navigate through early game. His prod for reads kind of felt iffy to me, like I was getting a vibe that he actually cared what those were lol.
um
why is it iffy for someone to care what your reads are and prod you accordingly
i am confused
Technically a defense of Ultra. I do think the basic premise of Gemma's question is fair. It's also an easy question to ask. Meh.
I don't know speedchuck or his meta or whatever but he town read and defended him far too soon. Also switched his vote to a player who isn't active instead of pursuing DDL
i agree that was a bad vote dot tm
Gemma dropped a vote on Ultra in response to his vote for me. This followed soon after speedchuck questioned the vote and Jack criticized it. Gemma was following the flow of momentum here. It'd be nice to know what the tally looked like in this moment.
novaselinenever wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2019 5:21 am
I hate her post about the Ultra case.
i dislike that she skirted around commenting on the ultra read, but i don't really have a problem with her saying that you're not a wolf with ultra.
I believe this is in reference to Owner. Sometimes the context is difficult to ascertain given Gemma's style for scatter-posting (this is not a criticism, do your thing). There is both shade and defense for Owner by way of the latter's handling of Ultra and the Ultra case. I could assert there's an effort here to draw a link between Owner and Ultra, and that can be a teammate thing. It's not something that inspires confidence in me as I type it.
~~~
Conclusion: I find some of this difficult to interpret. I can make a case that they're teammates, and that's enough for POE purposes. Gemma may be best judged at face value.
It's not like I changed my mind about the questions thing being fishy, but vote analysis > how many questions the guy is asking.
You can see below Ultra just subtly pushing Jay off of DDL while at the same time buttering him up. Why did Ultra feel the need to make the first post? The second seems to be hard defending of DDL while accusing Jay of the very same. It's quite masterful.
Why concern then
Cuz he has nothing to base his read on.
The way you talked before made it sound like you’d done something??? Does that mean no matter your alignment you dont post well??
I mean, regardless of alignment I shit post. That is my modus operandi. Such that JJJ can't possibly have a town read on me yet, given I would do this regardless of what I am.
I think DDL got snagged by a booby trap. No lynches are horrendous, and I thought it looked evident that speedchuck wasn't serious in his recommendation.
Eh the thing is that I kind of see a reasoning for it. Na.ely this game has a bunch of cops and they all act in Night 1/2. So No Lynch would reduce the chance we lynch our own cops and hopefully give us a headstart in ability usage. It reminded me of the Jester Game we do in NF.
Of course the price we pay for that is a civ night kill, so I'm not entirely sure the move is profitable. Would like to see a discussion on it, though.
This one is good because it also contains some dribble placeholder text about NF that adds nothing which is similar to something Jay literally caught me for in the other game. Overexplaining.
I prefer to construct a POE (hi speedchuck). If all I find are a handful of people who look good, then that's still productive. Who knows what the rest will tell me?
Some ambiguity is to be expected given the mafioso had like 20 posts and only talked about three people during his lifespan.
Why does Nova's vote on JJJ need to be a thing to justify his behaviour towards Nova?
Stage 1 - Fail to mislynch Nova
Stage 2 - Lose a scum teammate who had been hard defending you that simultaneously makes Nova look amaze
Stage 3 - Shoot at Nova and fail
Stage 4 - ... continue to try to attack Nova?
He feels like he has no choice but to flip his position on Nova. But then when he sees Jay getting incorrectly town cleared... that signals disaster.
