I think "dislike" is a bit strong. I don't remember what, but something made me suspicious and decided to explore.

It could be have the town vig, but ngl either of those are absolutely inoptimal town vig shots and I don’t want to operate in that donkey Kong world.

Couldn’t have been any of the aggro indies.
It could have been courier #5. Could have been, I just don’t know what weird agenda they have to kill a top poster like that.

In any case, it’s certainly not townsiding, so I must operate from the assumption, like Mac is doing, that mafia wanted them dead.

@Mackel sorry, I thought for some reason you were pointing to me being the 8 ball in the corner pocket because Michelle had suspected me for some time. Didn’t realize it was a post count thing.

I think it more likely that
-Michelle had…almost no one town reading her, except me early on.
-Abbi was hitting all her town notes and I don’t think anyone would have a good time finding her wolf any time soon.

I would make my case that I’m not scared of keeping around players that find me wolfy, and plus, wolves might just want to keep me around for later miselim fodder. Will see
Am I missing something? Why can't it have been the indies?
Poisoner would die during following night
SK doesn’t activate kill until N2
Arsonist can’t kill and mark in same night

Courier #5 is just ??? Cheese
Yeah this logics out.

So I am assuming this means that mafia have White Legs and decided to use their extra KP n1.

Which means that whoever it is is not confident of going deep at all.

Jeez mafia using both KP on Michelle/Abi n1 feels so readable though. There are so many players who would strongarm n1 KP onto me that I almost feel like immediately taking off the table here.

Like obviously there's the chance of them having been overruled but my gut feeling is that the below names would always have put KP on me n1 especially with 2kp to use and especially given they fired so arbitrarily into the high posters.

Creature
Nanook
falcon
Jack
Lanmisa
Manny
TSP

I would maybe buy a 3 person mafia team having one of them in it, but if there are 2 of the above in it then I should be dead if my understanding of how they'd use KP is accurate.

I would add Brad to that list except for that I think Brad while he hates wolfing against me, also might be one of the few people who would actually prefer to get rid of Michelle and Abi before me just on merit due to them being more of a direct threat to him than me.

How would you describe her play?
Kinda meta I wanted to keep back but mafia she's more than likely just gonna powerwolf and shove out mafia without much thought or re-consideration.
She is skilled enough to make variations in play ig. You are right but also it's easy to fake this town meta if needed.

The sentiment towards Brad at this point was quite negative so I am thinking a wolf partner especially the type of wolf Manny is would probably not just stumble in and make this read so brazenly. Knowing Manny he'd probably snap vote Brad and call him outed, but he'd definitely not do this. So I don't think that is w/w.

Do you base this on the mech post? I find that a tad odd because anyone can speak on mech, especially considering it's basically truth-talk and busy work Day 1. It's probably the most irrelevant line of conversation you can go down. Now, given it's RVS at that point, sure talk away on a matter I consider unimportant but out of all of Scotty's early posts, why that one?

I can't decipher whether your reaction is over-eager or just premature. Even with your later answer just doesn’t feel like you should be this set.
Like ... this is more how I'd expect a wolf teammate to treat Brad in the situation he had found himself in (under pressure by Seanzie, Scotty, Michelle etc. and a very towny daystart up to then). Overwrought distancing.

This is quite the threat Chelsea I'm scared of these consequences.

I haven't read the whole game but I read enough to get to confidence with these reads. I also actually think Epignosis has kind of softed himself as the Courier role but I'm not really 3p hunting because frankly it does not comply with how I read games in that I sort people by the level of believability in the choices they make.

Which now that I have articulated, kind of ... makes me see Chelsea ever so slightly more favourably. And also Creature. So I suppose I could call them upper POE, with Jack, Bradley and Falcon as the lower POE.

I know, I get it.

But it's like the 20th game in a row he's doing it.

Like it can happen so many times before I snap at someone and it's gonna keep happening because he doesn't learn his lesson.
I recognise the flavour of your frustration as Seanzie has done this to me countless times also, which makes me very confident that he is town if he is giving you the business he usually gives me (he's always town when he does it).

So if you are town, just play around him. Going directly at town Seanzie is a terrible thing for any town to be trapped into doing. If you play around him and just be town Brad to the best of your abilities he will go through a process of confused grunting for a while then drop suspicion of you I find.
I'm not gonna be able to do that so I'm taking the route of OMGUS and telling people to kill him for this shit.

Stop glorifying this shit way of playing.
Policy omgussing someone for suspecting you is no better than tunneling, it's worse in my view.

Please just play the mafia game and stop talking about Seanzie. He is not the only one voting you. You have attacked me for it and him, Scotty is also doing it. How do you feel about him?

Do you base this on the mech post? I find that a tad odd because anyone can speak on mech, especially considering it's basically truth-talk and busy work Day 1. It's probably the most irrelevant line of conversation you can go down. Now, given it's RVS at that point, sure talk away on a matter I consider unimportant but out of all of Scotty's early posts, why that one?

I can't decipher whether your reaction is over-eager or just premature. Even with your later answer just doesn’t feel like you should be this set.
Lots of incorrect assumptions in this post.
@Scotty can you add Dunnstral to towncore lol.
Dunnstral is either towniest of towns or deepwolf, as I’ve said.

I don’t think there’s a middle ground. And I’m afraid to commit to either
I think Dunnstral and Falcon are actually a hard difference check.

For those who missed it, Sig's role was guaranteed to be in the game for the town alignment as per the opening posts, which is a stronger ability than what their role actually did. So if they had claimed their role/flavor I'd have pointed that out and motioned for us to eliminate elsewhere. Us eliminating them probably wasn't considered in the balance of the setup so we are at a stronger disadvantage than usual, mafia effectively had three night kills while we killed nobody.

This actually feels like backed up town Brad tbh. Which surprises me, I was fairly confident he was mafia here. But this is not how he reacts to being pressured by me usually.

MacDougall wrote: Fri Feb 16, 2024 1:10 am I haven't read the whole game but I read enough to get to confidence with these reads.

I’ll need to delve into Jack’s iso but aside from that I think this looks solid.

I don’t mind sheeping your takes today

Yes but dwelling on this fact doesn't feel all that productive.

I've been getting sick since Tuesday night, mostly was in denial of it until now, but yeah I'm kinda fucked.

Sooooo I don't have actual scumreads.

I could vote Seanzie since the dude decided to spread lies yesterday and teach him a lesson.
:evileye:

Do you still think I’m the towniest town to ever town?

I mean if I extract Brad from the POE and take his Chelsea townread... Falcon/Jack/Creature is a perfectly plausible trio of a POE.

@Lime Coke do you have a townread on any of these guys?

Don’t call someone else an idiot please.

Should be self evident
