Her push on me, the way she jumped on certain things, felt kinda similar to the push she made on me in SI where she was town there, as well as the push she made on Giraffe in semis. She was town in both games. And on a base level her play is not super scummy. I still have her in my upper POE (and not the top of it either) but I don't have her in my bottom one.

During night I more or less decided to never push Alison, Amy, Colin and Carotte. I also read Ted and decided he was town.

Urist is now suspect numero uno.

Proto gets some cred for voting right but he will absolutely bus if he feels the need. Knowing that getting votes and pushes on teammates is 112's wolf meta it makes me think TTC might be mafia.

Nook and TSP are

112 had zero wim and got yeeted by town pushes day 1. The mafia were not much of a factor day 1.

Need to take some time to reevaluate this game with nutella flip.

I agree it's lazy to just go "that's the solve, lock it in boys" but also we have to start somewhere and there's a high likelihood it is at least partially the solve (like there's at least one mafia between the two of them if not two)

Which is to say that I'm open to the possibility of considering people being scum beyond just "the obvious players" but I have specific reasons for not attacking Carotte as hard as I'm attacking eg. Urist right now and I'm just expressing those reasons (although to be clear I think she still has scum equity and have her in my POE)

Nook and TSP are meh

I'm hard townshielding proto this game. You can trust me because:

1) I've townshielded him multiple games in the past where he was widely suspected and turned out to be right every single one of those games

2) I pocketed him really hard in Space Invaders which is evidence I know his thought process

I'm not saying you should just blindly sheep my read on proto and yes maybe he's scum and fooled me this time but if you believe I am town then you should take my read seriously and assign some amount of weight to it even if it's not infinite weight

I don't really believe in locking in level 1 reads and taking it to endgame but I do think it's a strong way to start and I'm find locking in level 1 pushes D2 and then re-evaluating as it becomes more clear that the level 1 push is wrong (and if so exactly how wrong)

like we exe urist today, then if he flips scum we exe nanook, and if nanook is also scum we're happy.

if we get unexpected results, like urist and nanook both being town, that's evidence something is up. At that point we can use those flips + any reads we generated on D2/D3 to start reconstituting a more accurate solve and throwing away our preconceptions.

at least that's the way I think solving should be done after D1 scum flips a lot of the time

Yes that's basically what I suggest we do except I probably favour not flipping Nook ahead of some others.

note: for this strategy to work, you have to actually do the "throw away your preconceptions" bit when you've sacrificed the lives of two townies to prove the level 1 solve is wrong. not doing that part is how games like philosopher's mafia are lost

I kinda don't trust tutuu here. I'm glad Nook is townshielding her though because it means there's only one mafia between them at most. So I can kinda just let it go for now.

Yes reevelatuation is heavily required. But also sticking to POE.

For me the core is Amy, Colin, Alison, Mac. I'll let Proto and Carotte hold onto the back of the bus if they're willing to just sheep town bus vroom vroom.

The way 112 town read her felt non teammate indicative.

112 made four town reads. Then added Carotte can be town in a separate post. It's not how mafia town read teammates. Also 112 as a wolf is far more likely to town read townies and scum read scummies.

I mean probably the biggest point in my defense is that I'm fairly notorious for bussing dead in the water partners D1 and I don't think I defended or bussed 112 yesterday

I read her correctly in the last game I played with her where she was scum and feel good about her here

This is typical of how 112 deals with good town opponents in my experience. Doesn't try to omgus or push fake cases. Just likes to be as honest as possible. You can assume that usually at least one if not both teammates will have been pushed by 112 and most of their townreads are actually town.

Colin was her other push. I'm more inclined to think the Colin push was actual attempting to push town. Mostly because Colin is less LHF looking ergo a safer push. Colin often catches scumreads off nothing so pushing Colin rarely will raise anyone's ire.

If we are to take Colin as town. Which I am. It makes TTC near certain mafia.

nanook is always going to be a hard read for me because he plays the early portions of every game basically the same way, which is to say that he doesn't

i think urist is always the wolfiest player in the game atm and i think that, pending 112 metadive, mac's spew read is a pretty bad look for 10k, which would leave nanook the villager out of the 3

it's not at all clearing, though, and i wouldn't be particularly surprised at any combination of 2 wolves and a villager in that pool

tutuu is like. the last person in my PoE that i'd dunk rn. i can't clear her, there are too many factors working against her, but GTH she reads like an incorrect villager more than a wolf

i also dunno if tutuu would pop nutella if she was still trying to push a nutella/alison world... but i guess she came out the gate hard townreading alison today, so maybe that's not actually a valid point
