I've been dropped on N1 in three consecutive town games, so my view on using a D1 vigilante shot is likely biased.

The playstyles are mainly the reason if I have to say. Certain things which you guys see as townie are not seen as townie thing over there. Now lets take act what you guys saw stilted and acting scummie from act we consider as something normal from her. This is her playstyle this is how she plays regardless of alignment. Similarly to what you felt with gnome. I felt the same way when I saw syn, mac play. Dana coming in and saying i am nervous and stuff if i didnt see others play last game even i would have felt it was scummie.

The difference in interpretation is in what Jay said, not what you said. At no point was I under the impression that he was suggesting the Dana push "can only come from mafia." Where and how did you get that impression?

As for responsibility in interpretation, I think that falls on both of us. We owe it to each other (everyone in the game, not just you and me) to word things carefully, and to also interpret the words and actions of others carefully as well. That's pretty key to a successful town game, I think.

What do you think Alison’s scum motive is for this post if this isn’t a real thought? I’ve seen lots of people push for reads lists, especially early on. I don’t like it or agree with it, but I know I’m in the minority for not agreeing or liking it. Does Alison usually not want reads list? Is this unlike her?

It's concerning that nutella hasn't locked onto any strong reads or suspicions and has mostly been floating along neutrally. A lot of her commentary is surface level and that matches up with what I've seen in Modern Family.

The upside is that a lot of people make their alignment really obvious when they're staring in the face of death. For example if Act switched into anti spew mode. Or if she flew into a contemptuous rage that a dayvig would shoot a player as obvious town as her for no reason and she hopes we get humiliated after the flip. That tells us something about Act's alignment.

The thing about Act's response is that "I'm not giving you shit" in response to me asking for a legacy is an excuse to go into anti-spew if she's mafia. In that universe she'd be leveraging her previous stated hatred of readslists as an excuse to avoid giving me any information. However she immediately follows it up by quizzing several players about game related matters which suggests she isn't worried about clamming up. This could be muddying the waters with bad info or fake spew but if that was her plan, a big legacy post with all sorts of misleading reads and interactions would be the perfect chance to do that.

Why does Act clam up about legacy but continue to solve if she's mafia? Doesn't make sense to me. Makes sense if she's town who hates legacy/readslists for playstyle reasons but still wants to continue to play. She also didn't bite the free discredit on me that Guillo was offering, despite having every reason to do so.
