I've been trusting of Epi basically all game. If I've been so wrong about my suspicions, maybe I've been wrong about him as well. Like I said, I want to believe my instincts about him have been right (especially those regarding how a parent would act), so I'm still regarding him as a civ, but with a little more caution. Epi, please explain why you're so untrusting of Boomslang?

Sorry, not really in the mood to talk about suspicions. I don't see myself dying because let's face it, I'm doing a horrible job finding baddies...aren't we all, though? So who knows.
So if I'm still here next day, I'll try to get back into the game.

I don't like this at all. Are you looking for a "reason" to vote for me? You obviously never played with me, but I take it hard when I lynch only civvies. Makes me wish I get NK and end the misery. How does it work for you? Are you having fun with all the civvies dying around us?

Well, it seems to me like you're just miserable about the state of the game and want to almost give up. That's how I'm reading it at least, that you're almost wallowing in your own misery and just inviting someone, be it lynch or baddie, to give you a reason not to play.
Just doesn't seem to be a very effective tactic if you're a civvie, inviting a vote like that. So I see this in three cases:

A. You're a civilian who has truly just given up hope and doesn't want to participate. If this is the case, you're actually helping out the baddies by narrowing down the list of civilians that are a more immediate threat to eliminate. You're also not helping out our team either. But I don't see this as a likely case, unless you were intentionally giving off this vibe to avoid a lynch vote.

B. You're a civilian who has some sort of lynch protection, like the Winged Pikmin. Not improbable given that we haven't seen any definitively dead yet.

C. You're a baddie who has some sort of sway on voting power. If either Glorfindel or K4J were a boss and you were the Phosbat, you'd have some more voting power, or at least would be less worried about a possible vote against you given how few people are left.

I'm of the opinion Glorfindel was probably baddie, I need to go back and re-read some stuff with that in mind. Until then, you're a higher up suspect on my list. I don't know what to make of Rob's continuous spamming, but methinks it could be a diversionary tactic.

I also think he's faking it. Furthermore, I don't see any roles with cursing abilities on the role list. Unless it's a hidden role or hidden ability, which isn't impossible.

With regards to Wilgy he's barely been here in the last few days and only really participated in discussion to say that he's sorry for not participating in discussion more. If he's really just been afk and he were a baddy we probably would have seen fewer NK attempts but that hasn't really been the case. If we believe him, then he's probably civvy. He could also be lying about being busy to cover up more nefarious activities at night, but I think the former is probably more likely.

Boomslang I don't know. I need to go back and examine more posts to get a proper read. It's been hard to follow all of this through finals week.

I don't know if MM and Epi were cursed, but I have to admit, I can sit here reading their jokes instead of playing. This is quite entertaining.

Seriously though, if they are cursed, I don't see why someone would do that other than have a laugh. As a civ, I never get the point in cursing someone. It just gives them a way to avoid talking off topic and you can't really figure out if you can trust them or not. As a baddie, there would be more reasons to do so because you would be causing chaos, and giving others a reason to suspect those people. So my initial reaction would actually be to trust these people more. That said, there's always the Wifom of someone doing it to their own to make them look better.

As it is, I see no reason to doubt Epi for it. MM's "curse" is new, so we'll see how it goes. In any case, I'm a little suspicious of those suspecting them for it. The irony is that MM said Epi was faking it, and now he's doing it too. Why would he do that unless he's really obligated to act like that?

The first thing wrong with this is that no where did I suggest I want to get lynched. I didn't. I had a few hours of frustration with our lack of ability to catch a baddie, and I voiced it and said I wasn't in the mood at the moment to talk suspicions, and that if I'm alive the next day, I'll try to get over that frustration and get into the game. You made the biggest leap to suggest I wanted to get lynched and gave 3 scenarios for a false notion.

Not to mention that even if any of them were true, why would I ask to be lynched? Why waste a vote? There's no logic here whatsoever. This is of the type I refer to as too crazy to be coming from a baddie, but I don't know. I don't get half the players this game.

I feel the same way about Epi. The MM curse is a twist. I'm still trying to decide what I think of it. Either he's just joking around imitating Epi, maybe trying to show us he can do that as well, since he said Epi was faking it, or it's real, and someone is having fun on his expense. Not sure it says anything about their alignment. I have no idea what's the motive behind these alleged curses (though as much as we need people to talk on topic, it's by far the most enjoyable curse I've experienced on this site).

I was getting a genuine feeling from Boomslang throughout the game. He felt really frustrated by Epi's behaviour (or him not providing answers to his questions). Maybe it's a fake tunnelling, I don't know anymore. Why do you think he's bad? Do you agree with Epi's reasoning as you see it?

I don't think Boomslang is suspicious for voting Epi because he didn't answer his questions, that's mostly Epi focussing on things that are about him. I do think he is suspicious for his earlier convo with Epi there and with sticking with it for so long without really mentioning anybody else.

His initial suspicion of Epi came from the fact that Epi voted Rock pikmin, Boomslang doubts that anyone voted who they were, thus Epi was more likely to be a Boss.. That's a leap of logic in my opinion.

I think that's most of his case actually. That and Epi not answering his questions as he would like.
Then at the beginning of toDay he thinks nothing will change his mind that Epi is bad.
And recently he was looking really hard for more reasons why Epi could be bad and came up with using Glorfindels lists in a very arbitrary way.

That's exactly what I said! I don't know any more. I've been wrong so many times this day, that I'm doubting myself.


As for Boomslang, you bring up solid reasons. Mainly, using the lists from Glorfindel, who we don't even know whether he was bad or not, and his initial suspicion coming from the day 0 vote and the discussion surrounding that. Though to the latter, it was silly of Epi to assume everyone just voted for who they are...but it doesn't mean he's a boss because he thought so (or claimed he thought so)

Here is the thing. SD is another person I felt pretty good about aside from a post here or there that had me wondering. But, she hasn't been here since Matt's lynch. She was trusting of Epi like me, most game, but unlike me, was willing to follow Epi with the Simon suspicion. Then, after Epi went back on his suspicion, she never questioned it or asked questions, just moved to vote for Matt and said she agreed with me on most of the things. I don't even know if she's suspicious of Simon or if it was only following Epi. I would really like to hear more from her. And speaking of Simon, where did he disappear to?

That actually is a lot simpler and more elegant of a proposal than mine, actually. It makes a lot of sense. Hmm.

I know, I've already talked about it. I've played plenty of games with Rob before. This just also seems like a convenient manner of deflection, having everyone look everywhere else except exactly where they would expect you to be.

A mother visited her college-age son. Her name was Maude. She informed her son that his uncle, who worked security, died earlier than expected.

Maude was pleased with her son's hosting, but she was surprised to discover that he had a female roommate helping out, and she disapproved of the arrangement.

How do you feel about Spacedaisy FZ?

Here is the thing. SD is another person I felt pretty good about aside from a post here or there that had me wondering. But, she hasn't been here since Matt's lynch. She was trusting of Epi like me, most game, but unlike me, was willing to follow Epi with the Simon suspicion. Then, after Epi went back on his suspicion, she never questioned it or asked questions, just moved to vote for Matt and said she agreed with me on most of the things. I don't even know if she's suspicious of Simon or if it was only following Epi. I would really like to hear more from her. And speaking of Simon, where did he disappear to?

I was pinged a bit in the beginning by SDs "if you must vote for Glorfindel, vote for me" post and her vote for Simon in the sig lynch to "tie it up" is odd considering the possible vote manips. But what she posts seems genuine... She's low on my list but someone I am keeping an eye on.
Your point is interesting though and I'd like to hear what she says to that.

I stopped playing mafia games on here for a while because I always got lynched or killed day 1, I couldn't play a game even if I tried.

I think I might've been NecronCommander, that was my tag on PA as well. I know Rob more through PA than anything, it must have been at least 6 years ago I started using that website and exchanged pleasantries with him. I feel like I'm entitled to say I can recognize his silliness.

After a thorough investigation, a rich gangster finds out that his bookkeeper has cheated him out of $10 million bucks. His bookkeeper is deaf. That was the reason he got the job in the first place. It was assumed that a deaf bookkeeper would not hear anything that he might have to testify about in court.

When the mobster goes to confront the bookkeeper about his missing $10 million, he brings along his attorney, who knows sign language. The Godfather tells the lawyer 'Ask him where the $10 million bucks he embezzled from me is'. The attorney, using sign language, asks the bookkeeper: "Where is the money?"

The bookkeeper signs back: 'I don't know what you are talking about'. The attorney tells the gangster: 'He says he doesn't know what you're talking about'.

The gangster pulls out a pistol, puts it to the bookkeeper's temple and says, 'Ask him again!' The attorney signs to the bookkeeper: 'He'll kill you if you don't tell him!'

The bookkeeper signs back: 'OK! OK! You win! The money is in a brown briefcase, buried behind the shed in my cousin Enzo's backyard in Queens!'

NecronCommander had one fling with me in PA, but it was so long ago, and besides, he told me he didn't consider them one-night stands, but rather auditions.

I guess this rules out deliberate lying...at least on that topic.

So, I need to go soon. I really have no reason to not vote Boomslang, except that I don't really feel that suspicious. I can't go back and read him now, but I know that earlier in the game, I felt good about him.
Then there's SD, who I also felt pretty good about and am starting to wonder if I was wrong, and Dr Wilgy, who I haven't trusted from very early on. My gun to head gut reading tells me to vote Wilgy. My analysis of my gut this game tells me I should totally ignore my gut and vote one of those I initially trusted, instead. Now, what am I to do?
