Translator3000, how do the Japanese say, "If you're paying attention to the few things I have already said, why are you acting surprised at this, you wet paper bags!?"

Go on, translate now.

Go chūi kudasai.

Thank you.
I'm not surprised, just disappointed.

For the record, against my better judgement I tried translating that, but it didn't work.

Dubz isn't a last-minute vote that would have given Duelist Mirage much advantage if they were paired with Nicole, so minor town points there I guess?

I'm not sure exactly what you want me to have done here? My wagon was largely voted by people for poor/no reasons but that's a point that has been litigated a bunch already. Plus my post is looking at specifically EoD wagons, I don't really care about the person who didn't show up in time to move their vote off me
You mean dubz?

My issue isn't with your wagon. It's about the reasoning of your attempt to VCA here. Why would Nicole be more likely to survive with partners voting her?
Kinda somewhat understand your Dubz estimate but still feels like weird logic.

on reflection i don't think that i consider nicole's vote on leetic as an argument for epi being mafia within itself

because if we live in a world where epi/leetic are both town then it seems plausible to me that nicole could have perceived leetic as the player who was more likely to get miselimed than epi, since most ppl were suspicious of leetic basically all day, and the epi wagon was a little more sudden (in my perception at least)

so if epi is mafia then i actually dont really think the wagonomics are why

oh also nicole had already positioned herself to vote for leetic long before epi had become a viable wagon, which means that it would look extra weird if she voted epi out of nowhere. so i really dont think the nicole vote tells us anything about epi's alignment

I think this is fair. To me, I'm a little more sus of Epig than leetic just because Nicole did bother to drop a vote on leetic (theoretically) and avoided Epig, and I'm not sure it makes sense for her to bus when she's in no apparent danger at that point. And I feel like leetic's contributions have on the whole been more towny. But they're not clear (and it could just be both, which would of course be amazing work)
Leetic just barely avoided being the yeet and should have more information than others knowing his own alignment but he's lacking in impulse to solve instead.
It's like the motivating factor just passed by him. It's scummy.
Didn't even find him particularly scummy before this day. And he's been around, clearly.
In my opinion, anyway.
Do you have an opinion on Epig? or if you've talked about him could you point me in that direction?

Again, I agree with the fundamental premise that leetic isn't clear, I'm just saying based on what I've seen Epig looks like a higher priority
A lot about epig looks like refuge in audacity so he's kinda attracting a lot of controversy to himself which...Might or might not be mafia.
Don't really see why he'd straight up use that as an opener though so that leans more towards it being town.
He really wants to look like he doesn't give a fuck I guess. Might be a not town aligned force but not necessarily mafia either.
Sorry this cross-posted as I was typing.

I could see this opinion. Personally, I am still a pretty loud wolf so "attracting attention" doesn't automatically mean town to me.

It's just not even the audacity, but ever since the nicole flip there's been a total lack of engagement. I guess there was a cover in that they would be in the lab this weekend, but still, there's just nothing there helping me find him.
He doesn't want you to find him. You'll have to flip him for that. All that lab crap isn't even meaningful. I could dump a chunk of dough into a bowl and call it a lab.

Anyway. Don't read too much into it but it's just a random thought aka shitposting crossing my mind atm that I still feel like posting.

If my wagon did have wolves on it (besides Nicole of course) they probably realized that my wagon wasn't sustainable/a good strategy in the long run. I would like to see if there were any leetic to Nicole voters though, that would be interesting

I get that people want to think about bussing potential, but I think it's a very good chance this is just a pure town wagon. Everyone was towny individually even beforehand.

Nicole was at seven, which is four (I believe) votes short of a majority. If you exclude nonvoters (Porscha and RDB) then she was three behind. Either case, it didn't look likely that she would hit the required number, though maybe her partners were in the background waiting for a couple other people to join the Nicole wagon before they would jump on it. Still, it didn't seem like there was a huge attempt to kickstart any other potential wagon; the Duelist wagon was static after I joined it and no one else was even close.

The most sus? Idk about that, I'd say those 4 are on roughly equal ground for me. It interested me though. Felt like LC was stretchy in the discussion with DM. And I didn't see they'd gotten much attention (in the limited pages I've read).

If the thread has a consensus POE I'm woefully unaware of it so you'll have to be more specific on who you're asking about!

I'd expect if Nicole was bussed it would be Wilgy or later but I just kinda doubt it happened (but maybe that's what they want me to think)
Maybe it's not consensus and just my own brain, but while the people you chose as your POE haven't done anything to distinguish themselves as towny, it's interesting to me that the venn diagram between the POE that I posted last night (epig/trek/Rondo (and Michelle, but obv that 's no more)) and yours is nonexistent. So I guess wrt the people I'm looking at, who is most towny to you and why?
I would guess that is because they weren't posting in the timeframe I was reading (from when the Nicole wagon restarted until EOD), and Nicole didn't mention them specifically in her posts.

I have no thoughts on those 3, gomen. I'm about to skim through overall mentions of Nicole for more interactions so we'll see if I find anything there.

Any resemblance to kaiju living or radioactive is purely coincidental.
idk dubz, Epig was among the more active players overnight as the Nicole wagon was building up and even had significant banter with Wilgy. Rondo was also posting though less.

I have a hard time believing you don't have any impression of Epig if Nicole wagon-->EOD is where you were focusing your catchup.
Truly just must not have stood out to me when I was reading, I commented on the things that did. I can look closer tomorrow and give my thoughts on that slot. That and the other stuff I meant to do today that I didn't get around to. Nemui.

Demo ne... What do you think of the Tranq/Nicole interactions during d1?

I get that people want to think about bussing potential, but I think it's a very good chance this is just a pure town wagon. Everyone was towny individually even beforehand.
I haven’t given any thought to tranq/Nicole interactions, tbh. Is there something notable there that I missed?

To be clear, I have no real interest in voting tranq today unless someone comes in with compelling info. I’m just laying out my thought process that, compared to players that I consider almost hard-not-wolf like Nutella and Wilgy, tranq gets a lot less credit for their vote than those two

Gamestate. Things have happened, things that are good for town. Shikashi... pyxxy doesn't really have much to say about anything, just images.
GoSpursGo wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2026 9:28 pm After going through Nicole's ISO again, it seems pretty clear they were not unhappy with attacking leetic throughout. Cast shade pretty early on, mused about jumping on the wagon, and then of course voted there before dipping.

It isn't impossible leetic is still scum, but I'd need some more evidence before going there.
I don't feel like Nicole is the type who's going to avoid distancing plays, particularly with a rather lurky partner. I agree that leetic isn't among the first places I'd look though.

there isn't necessarily a strong progression between gim's vote on michelle and gim's vote on nicole, but imo gims does have a pretty towny progression on nicole when looking at his entire day one:

so i mean it doesnt ring true to say that gim's lack of progression btwn voting michelle and voting nicole is wolfy, when he had made his thoughts about nicole abundantly clear throughout the entire phase?

this is kinda a hard read to verbalize but i dont really like the way that trekkie lumps dm & nicole into the same bucket in this post

i feel like a lot of wolves launder soft defenses of their partners thru talking about them in conjunction with another player, and it feels like trekkie is going out of his way to make up a reason why he isnt willing to push on nicole. just feels a lil partner-y
Chotto matte yo. Trekkie, gims, Nicole and I all came over here after first playing on mafiascum. So we kind of are a natual bucket for him to make. (Though why is gims not included in that list of people you think you can read, Trekkie?)

on reflection i think what i actually find wolfy about that post is just trekkie saying "i could see the angle on either of them" bcuz i dont really see any indication in his ISO that he had reason to be seriously concerned about you or nicole at that point in the game?

it implies a level of solving/interiority that i dont see reflected in the rest of trekkies posts

Why does nobody have a strong read on Epig today? They're squarely in the middle of the post count, it's not like they've been absent, and they were a primary counterwagon on day 1.
Epi's posting has been almost all sass and basically no meat. Like, I kinda want to townread the attitude, but I don't like the lack of reads. His tone is similar to what I've seen from him as town, but... I feel like he also cared to put out some sort of opinion when he was under pressure and he sorta took the opposite tack here? He got himself flipped d1 in the last game instead of the wolf because he tried to vanity wagon me instead of voting the counter wagon whereas here he cared about self-pres and... just sorta voted me again because why not?

Wakarimasen, it's a mixed bag to me

I don't think you've been fair to me given my previously stated mechanical obligations over the past two days, and for that, I should exact my wrath by sending a bird to drop an egg-shaped bomb on your arm, as your head is probably a useless target!

However, I am in a merciful mood. Almost in the mood for saki.

Alas, I have none. Whatever this is will have to do.

I am now willing to hear and address whatever grievances you have against me.

still not really feeling nicole, i guess her leetic sus is okay but she is reminding me a bit of an old scumgame of hers

game too large and i dont have many townreads

push comes to shove im sheeping scotty and maybe nutella if i feel good abt it
DM feels super town imo.
I super get the antsiness over the anticlaim stuff and this is town!DM besides it
I would even contend this is her most content-filled post and if she flips wolf, I’m down to fully clear DM because of it (unless this is multiball)

To be fair, this wagon had only now reached a majority a few hours ago, and the day is almost over…so
bussing is hyptohetically possible but the more simple answer is that he's town. also i like his push on trekkie today

I work all day Saturday and Sunday. So no, you will not hear from me much on Saturday and Sunday.

Nice work, stolen street sign!

probably town bcuz of the combination of him being one of the most aggressive/thread leade-y voices in the thread yesterday and him using that influence to push the game toward a scum wagon:
