Vomps definitely looks the most suspicious but I can't tell whether he's just trying to be experimental or not.

I think he's a safe lynch though...

I understand what you are saying, but it's not accurate to say that everyone is voting for the exact same person every day. Just because people aren't lining up behind you right now doesn't mean that, if you are in fact a civvie, you shouldn't continue to express your suspicions and vote how you want to. I felt like you in the last lynch when everyone jumped on Droopy when I voted Vompatti. I don't see the same thing that you do in your suspicion of INH, and Vomp has done absolutely nothing to change my mind on him.
I didn't mean for this to make it sound like I'm suspicious of you. I only meant that civvie DH is someone that I respect the skills of.

What does it mean to "be experimental"? Do you mean he might be experimenting with different ways to behave or is it an analogy to experimental music that I don't understand? Not arguing with the idea, just trying to understand it.

He's an experimental writer in actuality, so I'm thinking he might just be being experimental with even his mafia posts. But I hope he isn't that pretentious. *stern smile*

Spent over 90 minutes on hold with the IRS. The first call got picked up, then the rep somehow hung up on me. The second was answered after 40 minutes on hold by a fellow who sounded delightfully like Phillip Seymour Hoffman. I am simultaneously cheered and pissed off.

They have consistently been around 7; I extended this one because I had night class (but got out way early) and because of the poker tournament.

I will actually try and get them back to the 7-9 range starting the coming night period, so Night 4 will be a bit shorter than normal.

I hope I turn out to be right on this; I'm not convinced of Vomps' guilt. INH's remaining suspicions of Droopy could be based in some baddie knowledge, so sending a message vote for further looksies.

I've gone back and re-read on DH, rabbit, and INH. Of those 3, INH strikes me as the most suspicious one, but my suspicions of Vomps will trump that for today. I feel better putting that one off rather than waiting on Vomps to maybe eventually say something that will change my mind. He still has yet to do that.

Votes Vompatti

Sorry for my complete lack of input today. I stayed home sick from work today and didn't really have the energy for mafia.

I didn't have the chance to read back on the people I'd planned to look at so I'm sticking with the Vomps suspicion--I hope this turns out better than the Droopy lynch.

*Votes Vompatti*

Because when you are a baddie you'd rather pick up somebody's incorrect theory then be honest and have to out teammates

i really have no idea why you are pushing so hard, but honestly (and non theoretically speaking) I am a civvie. Can't speak for BWT, but i am.

And INH, I have (contrary to his opinion) paid pretty close attention to DH. A few things he has said have made me want to think he is a civ. And some of the things he says make sense to me.

Day 4: Happy Wombat Day

Yet another lynch had been decided, with the players chanting "Vomps, Vomps, Vomps!"

Vompatti stood as the players mutilated him limb from limb. All he saw was everyone surrounding him singing "Happy Wombat Day, Vomps!" and patting him on the back. He laughed nervously as in reality the blood rushed out of his body. The players waited for the moment of truth... and no shapeshift occurred. Once again, sadness filled them all.

Except for, of course, the infiltrators amongst them, particularly The Residents. They were quite pleased.

As all of the players left the scene to rest and re-analyze their poor baddie hunting strategies, Mr. Skull walked up to Vompatti's dead body. "I believe you have something that belongs to me", it spoke ominously. :eye:

Vompatti has been lynched. He was Residents Fanboy.

You have 23 hours to send in your night PMs.

Re: [NIGHT 4] Avant-Garde Mafia 2

Basically, new player errors or quirks being blown out of hand. For instance, Droopy was lynched because he seemed to be part of a counter movement to save bea (the one baddie we have lynched) and then when people mentioned his name, he said he wanted to lynch low posters. He was rezzed.

Basicially, I think some of the more experienced players (like me, unfortunately) have been looking at inexperienced players with jaded eyes, if you get what i am getting at.

DH is looking at INH. Trice is looking at me. Most of us were looking at Vomps, becasue he voted Rabbit twice for "personal reasons" and he defended someone to the point that it seemed he was trying to set him up Day One.

It's worth rereading if you have time :)

Just about half way done. Gonna try and finish before work tomorrow. Y'all probably will have psoted about 329483209 mroe pages. :p

First off, I'm a huge theatre snob/nerd and every time I see Epigiag (however it goes :p) post I think Eponine. OK? so you're Eponine to me. Dear, 'Ponine. :D

Now, here's something from Day 0 that I'm shocked that no one caught:

These two posts were consecutive. I don't know either of these players off the top of my head unless they went by other usernames. If they're new, I suspect it's possible that they were talking about it in chat and this was the result. I just find it awfully strange. Unless they were replying to each other?
I don't know it jsut felt wrong.
I also am not caugh tup. :p

Odd :/

Also, the Bea slip up was a good catch. :)
DFaraday wrote:AND I just want to mention that Illy was my team leader in my very first Mafia game, so I'm glad to be playing with her again! :D
ILLY WAS THE TEAM LEADER IN MY FIRST GAME TOO BECAUSE MY FIRST GAME WAS YOUR FIRST GAME <3
Adn they're both dead now. :|
I am not amused.
AceofSpaces wrote:Well I need to vote early, and I've got nothing really to go on. I don't think INH trying to complete the task early/ sloppily was a bad move. I know I've misread challenges before. Right now though, I am going to be voting Leech

I don't trust self-voters.
I also found this odd...
What do you mean you don't have much to go on?

There was a shit ton to go on.

Sure you were wrong, but this rang strangely to me.

Yeah, and that actually made me more suspicious of him, not less.

And then there is this:
• Red Eyeball – Likes to cause chaos and confusion. Benefits greatly if Residents Fanboy is lynched. (Secrets)
So this result was even suckier than it would seem at first glance :(
