Epignosis is the devil. He has a fiddle of gold. He will steal your soul if you're not wary. Fire flies from his fingertips as he sits on the roof and shreds that fiddle.
Epignosis does not care about the roof.

That's stupid.

What's the point of caring about the roof if you don't care about the fiddle?
What else is a roof even for, if not some decent fiddlin'?

Bleh. I think Epignosis looks awful and I want him hanged. I allowed myself out of the tunnel and ended up taking part in a lame Daisy lynch as a result, and in the immediate aftermath Epignosis continued posting garbage.
I don't care if it looks like I'm setting up a lynch. Epignosis doesn't get lynched when people weenie around it. I'm done with that shit. Fucking kill him.
You sound more like you'd be more satisfied lynching me than you would seeing the civilians win.
The former is a prerequisite to the latter. One step at a time.

Kylemii And Sloonei, I'm not to sure that's an easy thing to explain. Kinda because it's a combination of things. Your not on the same team, your vote wagons show the thoughts of two different agendas, the general discussion between Sloonbread or Kyle is so pivotal and black and white, I don't see a situation where it's possible that your on the same team.
And it's not like it's something I can directly quote either as it involves all the other players and their opinions too. Its like Moses split the water and Kyle and Sloonei were on each side of the ravine.

What would you be saying to me in BTSC? How would you evaluate my performance so far? Would I have met your expectations as a teammate?

I wouldn't be telling you what to do, because no one tells Epi what to do. I have no expectations to meet as a baddie teammate, because I'm the bottom-of-the-barrel most awful baddie there is most of the time, so I have no right to disdain the play of others in that way.

I seem to. I had a 2 page long debate about some philosophical semantic garbage in mountain mafia with epignosis, and later with Jack in the same game. I'm pretty sure it's happened other times too. Neither of those circumstances resulted in either person almost dying but like.... I'm still pretty sure this is something I should work on lol.

If people are going to accuse me of being bad, then I want them to tell me what my purpose was. Where was I going with it? What was my endgame strategy? The lynch mob has already decided to end me Day 2. nutella alluded to this being about my ego. It isn't. I am one of the humblest people you'll ever meet in real life ( How's that for irony?

). This is about making people think about what is going on in the mafia chat room.
When I am a civilian, I do not know who the mafia are. However, I
can make predictions on what they will do given what is in the thread. This has served me well, and I think other civilians should at least consider that.
I am dismayed at people deciding I am the automatic lynch for Day 2. If that is the case, then they at least owe it to me to answer the questions I raised first.
If "Get rid of Epi" is all they want, fine.
If finding mafia is what they want, they need to do better.

Long ago, in Night Vale Mafia, the two scum teams lived together in harmony
Then everything changed when the Man in the Tan Jacket attacked
Only Epignosis, one of the most outspoken players in the game, remained of his team
But when the game suspected him most, he vanished (and was lynched)
Months later, I suspected a new Epignosis, in a game that was rather Jewish
He may look pretty scummy
But I believe this new Epi cares about the roof

(Basically I remember Epi vanishing when he had lost hope in that game and Epi here still seems to think he can turn some positive scumhunting out of this situation. He could still be evil, not disputing that, but I'm willing to look around as well.
Hopefully I'm remembering Night Vale correctly. Epi was bad, when people suspected him and said his goose was cooked, he just left. Because at that point, the aggro of the town wasn't worth making posts that weren't going to do him any good.
Granted, he has other teammates to help in this game, but him talking is just going to create WIFOMy links to other players.)
Why is Epi still here, still trying, when nobody wants to defend him?

Let me offer an exercise for you stiff-necked people (that's from the Torah, by the way):
You are my mafia teammate. You are witnessing the things I am saying in the thread.
What would you be saying to me in BTSC? How would you evaluate my performance so far? Would I have met your expectations as a teammate?
For this to make sense I will have to assume that some civilian takes my place in thirsting for your blood. If so:
1. I’d be assessing the scenario in real time and looking for ways to generate a counterwagon sizeable enough to give you a chance. And in BTSC I’d be describing that objective. I might advise you on handling the negative environment, but I’d trust that you can handle your own business.
2. In most games it’d probably work better than “lynched Day 2” and I’d attribute the circumstances to bad luck.
3. Sure. I don’t have “expectations”, that’s too arrogant even for me. You’d have played your way and encountered unseen difficulties (namely the ire of the people you didn’t directly pursue such as but not limited to LoRab and Marmot). Shit happens. I’d be considerably more disappointed by a civilian reveal in the real world than I would be by your mafia performance in that world.
Do you suggest that your play in this thread is incompatible with a mafia Epignosis?

That more or less was the point of the exercise.

Which must guide you to a more important question, but I'm going to let people ask that one themselves.

You often claim to be a player without "meta", one whose civilian and mafia games look the same. What is it about your play in this game that you don't believe would exist in a mafia version of your play?

If my civilian and mafia games look the same, why do you want to lynch me? What makes this different?

It's your claim, not mine. I don't think they look the same.
