I may have been giving too much weight to the anti-consensus takes, thought they might've been discredit-y (in a scummy context) but I guess not.

As you put it, he may just be lost town and honestly it didn't occur to me to think of Mac as lost town ever because I generally have heard good things about him outside of this game whenever he was brought up.

I picked the people that I thought were all town, and who also think that each other are town. His play makes no sense to me if he's scum, he's not killing townies or ingratiating himself as a trusted figure, he's giving bold anti-consensus takes, but he's not really powerwolfing with those takes either. For players like nutella and me that he knows well specifically, I expect him to take firmer stances and either try to pocket or bury us if he's scum, and he's not really done either, which sells the "confused/lost townie" narrative to me.

He brought up the 112/vanity game with me when we were hydra'ing together. I think he's still affected by it/it impacts his reads and play, but I don't think he repped being affected so deeply that I would be suspicious of the fact that he seems to trust 112 in this game.

I don't get what your issue is. A bunch of people townread or townlean 112, but it's not like we're all voting in 112 to be our supreme leader. A bunch of people townread Falcon, Flanders, and other consensus townies too. What makes 112 special?

It just feels like I'm reading a different game from Mac, and I don't like that. His interactions with you and Nutella seem contrived to me. He started off saying he liked Nutella, but found you sus but at that point Nutella and you were pretty much lockstep. He then says that nutella is bad for "no"ing his takes, claiming Nutella only "no"s takes when she's bad. Then nutella says how she's been agreeing a lot with you, to which he then says that both of you and her have jumped the shark.

I see how a "y'all jump the shark, but I trust you" thought process kinda makes sense of all of that ...but it still feels weird to me. I don't recall Mac saying why he thinks either of you are off your rockers, and I don't like that either.

If Mac is civv, I have no clue what he's doing. If Mac is bad, I have no clue what he's doing.

Other updated thoughts from me Thunal town, their early progression on I think Tutuu seemed believable.

Allison is probably just town, even though I know she likes wolfing.

MacD could be scum, playing a lot like he did early on as scum in Pyre Mafia. Worth noting I'm not very familiar with his play in general though.

I feel like half the player list or less has checked in and most of the discussion is coming from 3 or 4 people so I'm gonna keep chilling.
