Agree, but in this line of talk, if we are wrong on who's in control, who's the deepwolf?

I don't believe we need to discuss that yet. I don't think we should let ourselves overthink things. Plus it's all WIFOM dependent at this point.

Clarification - not necessarily the mechcleary group. But somewhere higher up the list, sure, someone has possibly escaped.

General observation number four:

I feel like this round, for the first time, we are coming together as a group. Our reads and PoEs are swirling into a nebulous consensus, with a natural amount of variants and disagreements. This is both a good sign, and potentially a dangerous one due to intertia. Let's not be afraid to challenge assumptions, but always with the understanding we are prodding the fringes for holes in an effort to find any leaks.

I may have mixed up some metaphors there.

I doubt it. Again, based on known roles and everything, I think Epi designed this game to need to be solved by old-fashioned methods. I don't think there are any Gamechanging Power Roles present.

Like even the cop role was different.
