I mean I can see a scenario where I'm mafia and quin would call me out on something like that as distancing or something, but I think in that scenario I'd check in btsc and ask if he was cool? as it was I thought he was legitimately upset at me for not living up to my old self and it left me with sort of a sour feeling.

and basically if we were teammates we would have been on the same page with that from the start and I would have had more fun with it. quin and I are ancient friends and shenanigans twins and you KNOW if we were teammates we would have gone deep with that.

I think Quin was on tilt for being suspected for what they perceived to be bad reasons. This would explain their animosity towards me. If that theory is true then their hostility towards Kyle and Esooa looks more likely to be genuine and less likely to be distancing.

and my townread just went down the proverbial. it's day 1. nobody is going to take you up on this offer. offering to lynch yourself provides nothing of value and only serves to lure in sympathy.

This interaction is weird if they're teammates. Seanzie as scum there is almost certainly trying to get townread via emotion and a willingness to die; why does his teammate dismantle his narrative like that?

He actually seems towny imo on reread

I don't have a ton of experience with nook mafia but I remember him forcefully trying to push out of the POE in Philosopher's Mafia, citing night actions that looked good for him. So it is within his scum range to try to bust the POE open and just hope the scum doesn't notice he's out of his meta. More to the point, if nook is scum here, if he doesn't bust the POE open he really can't win. He has to get 4 misexes in a row and the POE is 3-4 people including him. So it's really hard for nook to win if he just says "whack these 3 and don't think too hard". Yes, WIFOM exists, and he could be doing it to look town, which is why he's still in the POE - but he's a lesser priority.
