you have a less than charitable way of viewing my actions. I interacted with the person who invited me to the game. Was hype to play with the person who I have the most fun playing with and then had no back and forth from what I was doing so decided to spend time with my partner lol. You said you like to play to socialize, you enjoy town and don't enjoy wolfing, etc. I like to play for the game itself. I learned mafia playing with pretty competitive people, sometimes for money, so the norms were uh. pretty "tryhard" by a lot of folks standards. In my mind if I sign up to a game I'm signing up for a responsibility to play my best for my team... it's not exactly "winning is more important than having fun" but like, socially, the assumption that people who signed up to play are there because they enjoy the game itself and trying to win the game and playing with other people trying to win IS inherently fun. More like theatre club than social club. In my mind if I wanted to chill and socialize with people I would just hang out on discord or something, entering a game makes me socialize *less* for its duration.

So it's hard for me to get into the mindset of players who are ok with just like... blowing off other people, talking exclusively about non game related things (though some is fine ofc), playing super emotionally, not caring about their wolf games... that sort of thing. Leads to a lot of clashes. Would like to understand more and reduce that.
