Thanks. We're happy. I actually gave my wife a deadline for conceiving by my birthday. As that deadline approached, I was going to tell my wife that I would give us to the end of the year. Turns out, the original deadline was all we needed. ;)

There's a very famous girl named Gomez.
And she's a ho-bag who dated Biebs. Yeah, I'm really going to name a kid after that! :disappoint:
No no no! Mrs. Gomez Addams!

Come on man! I would never advise you to name your child after a Justin Bieber kisser!

Congratulations Galen! I kind-of figured that was the news as well. You mentioned you were "trying" and at one point said "if we have another". It was pretty obvious :D. Again, congrats! Babies are such a sweet blessing. Record those little newborn grunts! It's so sad that they only last a couple weeks.

My apologies, this is a week over due. I was in Houston for training and came back last weekend. I was spending time with MP and I realized Tuesday I hadn't switched off of G-Man's turn. Anyway, I have a special treat for you guys since you waited so patiently. Our next volunteer in the hot seat is new to The Syndicate, so be gentle... Or something.

ika, you must be in my neck of the woods if you are cs for publix unless they have their call center somewhere not associated with their hq. I'm in Tampa. Also used to work in a call center as the hr director. It's nice to hear you like it so much and yes, how managers approach discipline is crucial when it comes to employee relations.

Publix: Where Shopping is a Pleasure

One of the few instances that a company's slogan is absolutely true (although it was false for a year or so- when Simon was a little guy, he would always throw up when I took him to Publix).

no? Publix is a private own (by us) food store (its dominate in Florida). I'm not a call center person (but i do answer phone)
I must have somehow gotten this confused. I thought you were a customer service rep who worked at HQ which is in Lakeland Florida. Yes, I'm aware Publix is a private company, I have shopped there for many years as has my mother. Since you don't work in the Lakeland office where (what city) are you in? Or state if you'd rather.

MP and I used to be in northern Kentucky, greater cincinnati area, but we are in Texas now. Was still a good few hours from Tennessee though. I have an uncle somewhere in Tennessee, but I don't recall where exactly. Obviously we aren't close. Also I need to get back over to your site too. I just got back into San Antonio from Houston last weekend, have been busy settling back into day to day life after a month of being gone.

I know of Publix, lived in Orlando for a while and hear great things about how they treat their employees. Kudos for finding a good company to work with and working on moving up! I'm in retail management too, it's a draining job.

-The people, the game themes are always sick, and the unlimited freedom of speech.
-Franziska Von Karma as the Perfect Detective in the SRK Ace Attorney game of course!

-When SoliloquyAside accidentally posted something meant for the mafia thread in the main game thread. Following that post he made another post saying only "LALALALALALA" and nobody caught it. Now mafia slips in the game thread are referred to as LALALA posts.

by XthAtGAm3RGuYX
On my phone, so ill answer the music question later when I can post examples from laptop.

Best memory associated with a video game, but rather how I associate with a game itself. Mainly the endings of MGS3, 4, and Tales of Vesperia.
MGS3 was just a really good slick ending. It felt badass and subtle at the same time because of that plane scene with Ocelot.
MGS4 was just an emotional rollercoaster for a long time fan of the series. 70 years of war depicted in a single fist fight, the microwave chamber, the graveyard scene. Got a tear or two out of me.
Tales of Vesperia was just fantastic. One of very few games that I didn't want it to end.

The one thing that really stands out though? Ninja Gaiden 2. The end of the game has a 3 boss fight gauntlet with no store in between. I didn't have enough money to buy any healing items before hand, I had a single healing item, 3/4 health. And I had to beat 3 straight boss fights with that. It took me 2 days and over 30 retries. I basically had to best the first two without taking damage in order to survive the final one. That shit was an accomplishment. People like to go on and on about how hard Dark Souls is, but in like "Have you even played Ninja Gaiden? The second half of the game just tries to make you ragequit."

1. In ninja Gaiden 2 how to you beat the gaint fire turtle monsters after the plane level? They always blow up and kill me.
2. What is your top 3 anime and why?
3. What is your favorite movie?

-Dodge until he stops shooting rocks. As soon as he stops, destroy his face with the axe. As soon as you land the killing blow just keep moving back even during the cinematic. Block before he detonates. Dont know if I remember it correctly. Been probably like 5 years since I've played that game. You'd be fucked later on though. At one point you have to fight two of the fire armadillos at the same time.
-1. Samurai Champloo. Loved the characters, the writing, and the OST.
2. Basilisk. It's like if you made Naruto not suck, and then made the plot like Romeo and Juliet with 100% less pedophilia, and then made everybody fight each other with cool powers. It's pretty sweet. Everybody is part of a ninja clan. There's also this one guy who hides a knife in his throat at all times.
3. Kill la Kill. DONT LOSE YOUR WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY
- I'll give you a hint.

Kill la Kill is a weird one. There is a ton of pseudo nudity, as in like breasts are exposed, but nipples are magically concealed and stuff like that. Alot of people that actually pay attention to the show and the themes come to the conclusion that most of it is a metaphor for self acceptance and showing the world who you really are inside. There is also a military faction later on called Nudist Beach. The only clothes they wear are the tactical gear that has pockets and stuff. Aside from the skimpy clothing, the show is most well known for it's fight scenes. It was produced by Trigger, who were all former employees of Studio Gainax, the people that worked on Gurren Lagann, and Panty and Stocking(PSG). The animation style is extremely unique, and the entire tone of the show is like if you mixed a Shounen anime(Dragonball) with the magical girl genre.

For example here is a section from the beginning of the first episode

Shit is wild man.

EDIT: Cowboy Bebop, Black Lagoon, Hellsing Ultimate, Guilty Crown, and Psycho Pass are some favorites of mine too. Guilty Crown gets mad depressing though.

Are you married?
Do you have any kids?
