it's actually lobster bisque, but i'm not a big soup person. i absolutely hate french onion soup

French onion is pretty GOAT. But lobster bisque is really good too. I like most soups that don't involve large amounts of green or leafy vegetables tbh

i could see that being the case, but it bothered me that their reaction to joe scumreading them was to appeal to joe like they knew for sure joe was town. scum have a tendency to do that unconsciously and i noticed a similar vibe from spirit

I'm also feeling better about ted. He has a particular tell I look for when he's wolf that I will watch for (I won't share it unless I see it).

Has anyone else even mentioned Rogue besides that joke claim at the very start of the game? No, we've all forgotten that the 3P exists. We're focused on the town vs mafia aspect of the game. Not Samu though! He remembers Rogue exists. Rogue is on his mind, to the point where he rejects much more natural conclusions ("Mac is a mixed bag" "Mac is null" "I can't sort Mac") in favor of a real reach to call Mac 3P. I genuinely believe that this is a >>rand 3P tell, and I can show you a game where 3P outed their alignment exactly like this.
It would explain all the stuff I found confusing about him. He seems so agenda-less and his tone is so pure because he really doesn't have an agenda (or at least not the kind of agenda we expect from scum), and he really isn't trying to manipulate anyone. He's doing something completely different from the war between town and scum. He's giving reads like they're obligatory, because he isn't really invested in solving. They're bad reads because he doesn't put thought into them and he doesn't follow up on them, but they aren't constructed to feed a certain narrative or undermine certain players because he genuinely doesn't care.
To me this read makes a lot of sense and it ties all the threads of Samu's behavior together neatly. I'd really like to sit on this wagon and see how far I can ride it.

Do I feel optimistic about everyone townreading each other? Not really. My strongest townread is myself.
Self declared to be playing a town core/POE boxing game, and has followed through on it. This is a hard way to win as a wolf.
While she doesn't harp on it in her lists, in her ISO she is making clear the reads she is personally making as distinct from her statements of 'town core consensus reads' that she is going along with. I think as a wolf there would be more intentional blurring here so that when things go wrong accountability would be easier to avoid.
She has stepped in and mixed it up with both sides in every significant clash so far, with a consistent stance. She maintained that stance even with regards to her own clash with Sprityo.
I buy it for day one, and unless real events at EoD tilt against this primarily tone/feelie read will continue it forward.
