Hally has a playstyle which simply autopockets me. I'm going to be wary of them for the entire game, most likely.

nook why are you voting arete what
There were two on vulgard already at the time
And I’ve been too lazy to move
gotcha, just checking because i thought you still tr them

Weird game state read: I don’t think town hally is bad enough to have two wolves as her top reads. I don’t think wolf hally is brazen enough to put two partners at the top of her readlist. Also tutuu hard defended Nanook from me, which I can’t say is definitely out of her scum range, but isn’t super likely to be partnered.
So I’m very likely wrong on at least one of tutuu/Nanook.

If me and Arete are both mafia, we townread each other and try to powerwolf.
I can link a game where we did exactly that, but it was a year ago and our play has definitely changed since then.
I'm currently just trying to prod around and figure out where people stand. I have fairly firm stances on everyone at this point.
I'm still wondering about the 112 meta assessment. I might revisit that closer to EoD.

i don’t think michelle actually cares about solving the game tbh. her pop ins even when she’s here are completely devoid of content or anything towny really. best i can say about her is her vibe is good? but like her iso is completely devoid of actual solving
Hally wrote: ↑Thu Oct 08, 2020 7:17 am
wow i really have a lot of power huh
That was concerningly fast.
it’s only three votes tbf and ash has been scum reading mich for a while already. tutuu was just blatantly sheeping though

like idk i cannot find anything in michelle’s iso in terms of like actual content that makes me go “this is a real, towny thought.” her stuff so far is extremely surface level and just feels weak. i know she hasn’t really gotten into the game yet but idk what’s there feels fake to me so here i am

I kinda agree about Michelle, but at the same time, I don't really want to vote there right now. I might be inclined to swap if she doesn't show up to do towny things before EoD.
I think 112 is more actively scummy because of her bizarre push on me and Poison and the overall appearance of her ISO. The case is there in one of my previous posts. Since people don't like me repeating what I say, I'm no longer going to do that. I know that's different from what I said before, but shush.
This is not very relevant to the gamestate, but I was inspired to play here after seeing members of this website play in Champs. I thought that playing with you would be very enjoyable and that I could improve. Now that I'm actually playing here (and one of the people I saw play in Champs is in the game!!!!), it feels absolutely great.

I think Ash was the only person in Michelle's ISO who she seemed to have concerns about, so I didn't really see the problem with her vote.

good change i support it
it used to be a blinding yellow that was ugly
the racket host color poop brown was also ugly
i support this endeavor for prettier host colors
But yellow - grey combination is quite nice, although don't know what sort of yellow you are talking about.

Hi, Poison!
Can you give reads and overall insights about the gamestate, who you want to push, etc., etc.? These things are missing from your ISO thus far. I don't really know where you stand (other than being potentially pocketed by tutuu if you're town).
I seem to remember someone saying that they started really playing the game somewhere around halfway D1, I don't remember who it was. If that person hasn't started playing and evolving their thoughts yet, they should do it now.

also it’s honestly a bit odd to now be regarded as a player that people respect enough to actually be excited to get to play with. im flattered

idk just looking at michelle’s iso, i think my initial take that shes mafia is probably correct. i don’t wanna say im locked in on that but i would say she’s gone from just being in my poe to an active scum read
Ash Lael wrote: ↑Wed Oct 07, 2020 1:50 pm
Here’s where I am now:
Town:
112 - coming in with strong, believable cases on two widely townread players, able to answer follow up questions with sharp reasoning that shows real thought and solving intent? Yeah, this is a townie and I don’t even feel nervous saying so.
Poison - Slightly weird read here, but I’m getting a sense that they’re not super confident in their game. Things like saying “Don’t ask me how good my reads are I’d be too embarrassed to answer” or being impressed and thinking I’m more experienced than them based on me... making a an early readlist. For someone like that to be posting so freely and effortlessly and engaging with other people’s reads and (nicely) poking holes in them doesn’t fit with what I’d expect from their scum game.
Vulgard - I’m musing over 112’s case here, wondering if there’s something to it. I don’t think so. Vulgard accuses me of being too meticulous and crafting my posts too well. I don’t think wolf him wants to accuse me of exactly what he’s doing. I think he’s just what he seems - a careful, structured, townie.
Hally - I’m probably not going to ever stop tinfoiling her in the back of my mind but at a certain point you have to take yes for an answer. Sometimes the super-towny player is just town. Maybe she’s a wolf but if she is I ain’t catching her day zero. I can always be wrong, but I’m at the point of acknowledging that if Hally is a wolf I am wrong because I think she’s town.
Ted - I don’t think he’s paired with tutuu, and the way he’s been doggedly pushing his mini-tunnel on me feels like townie-wrong not wolfy-malicious. Not ultra confident here but he gets a townread.
Null:
The non posters, Arete.
Wolves:
Michelle - I perceive Michelle as a pretty easy “level of ferocity” read. Haven’t seen it yet. So far this is champs finale Michelle to me. If town Michelle shows up and starts making her presence known I feel like I’ll find her.
Tutuu - was already ringing five different alarm bells in my head when they decided to go and blatantly flip their read on me for... I don’t think they ever actually stated a reason. This is just a wolf. “But the things they say don’t make sense” is not a good reason to townread them.
Nanook - just vague feelings of unease and distrust, I don’t think he’s posted since my last readlist so I won’t bother reiterating.
That’s 14 people and I spent way too long trying to figure out who I missed before I realised it was me. It’s 4:45 am and I need to sleep.
Too many words for a wrong conclusion about me
...Literally just this.
It's almost nothing, but it's something.
I'm really reaching here, because it's like you said -- there's barely anything to work with.

I also suddenly feel less comfortable about staying on 112, but I think pursuing this read a bit more isn't a bad idea.

idk caveat here is that it’s still very early and michelle may come in and be townier. like we aren’t even halfway through d1 yet. it’s possible that she just sticks out more because the game has been so active
