Night 5 - Mmmm, Newts
"I swear it wasn't me that took your roasted newts Yubaba! It must have been someone else." Long Con pleaded to Yubaba.
Yubaba stood in the center of the bathing area while everyone was preparing for another day. She kept a stash of roasted newts handy in the kitchen when she was in the mood, because they were quite tasty. Some of the folks in the area had gathered around to see what was going on.
"What's the problem Yubaba? Is Long Con shirking his duties again?" DFaraday said as he approached.
"No, my newts are gone. You wouldn't happen to know anything about it would you?" Yubaba said as she glared at him.
Before DFaraday could reply, he was shoved forward from behind. "I bet it was him Yubaba, he's always filching things from the kitchen." DrWilgy said.
"That's right. He took my lunch today. I'm starving!" Elohcin chimed in.
"And frankly, he's just unbearable to work with in general." S~V~S grumbled.
Yubaba looked at DFaraday. She seemed to grow in size as she approached him. "What have you done with my newts?" She asked heatedly.
DFaraday mumbled something incoherent, then sprinted toward the open window, and flew off into the mid-morning sun.
DFaraday has been lynched. He was Yu-Bird. G-Man is no longer a penguin.
It is now Night 5. You have 23 hours to submit your night actions.

DFaraday has been lynched for a second time. He was still Yu-Bird. G-Man is no longer a penguin.
It is now Night 5. You have 23 hours to submit your night actions.

I am sorry I missed the vote. I was home a half hour before the lynch was up, but then the other game got my attention for *reasons* and I forgot to come back to this one. I wasn't even aware of the LongConishness of this lynch until I just caught up five minutes ago. Awesome that DFaraday was Yu-Bird, good job DF voters!

I don't really know. The DFaraday action has really crossed my wires with the other game - I voted for him in that game on this day.
I want to have a look at both vote lists for Day 1 and Day 5, the days we lynched baddies. Was it within 1 vote at some point during today's lynch?

A leading candidate based on flimsy reasoning, yes. Our mutual friend took her off of today's poll for a reason.
A confirmed civ, whose identity we do not know, took her off of today's poll for a reason. Think about that.

Ok so this is how it went down according to my knowledge:
S~V~S (6), Dom (7), Sorsha (8), voted DF 3-0
a2thezebra (9) voted LC 3-1
nijuukyugou (10) voted DF 4-1
I voted LC 4-2
DF(11) placed his vote [4-3/color]
Bubbles voted LC, 4-4 then quickly shifted to DF and stopped at spot (12) 5-3
Eloh voted LC 5-4
I voted DF 6-3
So... Key events -
DF was saveable upon his own saftey vote with help of extra votes until Bubbles voted for him.
DF was made saveable when Eloh voted for LC until I moved.
Someone double check this.

And I, through my own inscrutable detective work, have determined that a confirmed civ, namely Chichiyaku, forced you to vote for me today. Maybe I'm wrong, but if that's true then a confirmed civ tried to force you to work toward taking down me, and I am a civ.
My point is that I can't see a way that Radish-guy could know that nijuukyugou is not a baddie. So the fact that he's a civ means, at the most, that his belief that nijuu is civ is an opinion at best. "For a reason" doesn't lead to the conclusion that it was a correct reason, unless I'm missing a game mechanic that has the possibility of confirming nijuu's alignment for him. Y'know?

No, I meant at best because there's no apparent way that it could be better. As in, actual info from game mechanics.

I'm saying that it couldn't be better. I don't know why you're focusing so hard on this, so I will try to end this unhelpful tangent.
The point of my communication, "an opinion at best", was to highlight the fact(?) that Radish-man's removal of nijuu from today's poll was not supported by any apparent way that he could know nijuu's alignment from a game mechanic.
It's a misunderstanding of my communication if it leads you to believe that I was implying some sort of worse possibility. "An opinion at worst" suits me fine. It's an opinion at best, and it's an opinion at worst, my point is that it is an opinion and not a fact.
While I was writing this, though, I started to think about Sen, and her searching players each night. I don't know if that could result in some sort of communication from Sen to another player. So maybe nijuu is Sen and searched Radish-man and he gets to know who she is. So I retract the "opinion at best" slightly, because the Sen secrets might provide a result that is better.

Well, "we all" didn't know it. Maybe everyone but me was thinking that's what happened, but it wasn't on my mind. I guess it's good if you found it helpful. I want to get back to the Day 1/5 voting analysis. I have a little temp spreadsheet and everything, but I'm distracted by the other game, and a banner request, and some TV as well.

I was just hoping to bait any DF teammates.
I was pretty sure he was bad based on the "SVS is good based on her Wilgy suspicion" talk he threw, so I figured buddying up to him and giving him a chance for survival could draw out his team.
Hopefully it worked and I'm not getting played here... Based on DF's reaction and the lack of counter wagon generation, I want to think that it did.
