It seems DDL has a claim that offers him some believability, but I don't like nova's tunnelly nature as of late. It definitely reads differently than the last game I had with him.

Mac - Got the godfather lynched and was the counterwagon
Jay - Good energy, went after inactives D1 which reminds me of Megaman. Clutch switch to get Bob lynched
Epi - Good tone, getting a relaxed vibe and his Sabie suspicions seemed genuine. Mic thing is more town utility than the opposite
Colin - Vote on Bob
Quin - Tied the wagons D1. His claim
DDL - Genuine concern for Mac's lynch and defending him. His claim
Rey/Leetic - Apathy of the former, soft hint of the later
DF - Soft claimed out of nowhere. No reason for it, seemed genuine

Also can you expand on your DDL suspicions? You just mentioned his soft claim as giving him credibility, but not your suspicions.

Sorta throwing shade at the Mac wagon without really fighting it, the tunneling of dunya, etc. As most of my reads were caused by a cursory look through the thread, they may be influenced more by other people's reads.

Maybe a little. No more than that though.

I did the trustfal thing, and I find myself believing what I wrote for most parts.

DDL and Colin are the weakest there

That is, excluding Rey/Leetic

I don't buy the soft claim for a minute, and the whole wait until tomorrow even though they could have used it on N2

DDL's got your vouch going for him. His ability is kind of civ utility but it's not impossible to find it in the hands of baddies

It could serve as reimbursing their own shots and buying town cred by using it on Townies. Sounds a lot like an Inventor role which is seen scum

The strongest thing I have against him though is how he dealt with the Rey and Sabie's wagon. He was on Rey all day, and there was no development to his "too bad to be bad" observation on Rey. Then he was looking for someone to sell him on Sabie, and nobody did. He basically sold himself there without saying a word.

I have at least worked out that leetic is an unlikely cop. Unless rey ID'd Mac for some goofy reason, I haven't seen evidence of a peek in their posts.

Inventor is the gift 1-shot abilities role btw

That's why I'm not understanding their reluctance to claim, and how they chose to "not waste" their shot on N2.

Yes I've considered it. We actually have a recent and direct parallel there, because DDL was a mafioso inventor in the Socky Awards game. He had two shots then and gave them both to his teammates.

Of course, if DDL is a mafioso who hands out shots, there's a good chance his team was royally screwed. There are few ways out of that better than handing a civilian a gift and baking in the credit. He doesn't know what my role is after all (in theory).

It's a somewhat powerful ability to have doubled.

I'd think baking in credit would be a good way out. With a teammate gone D1, that's one less shot to reimburse for your team so it's a good idea to use that one to get some credit. I don't see a shot of potential abilities baddies may have that'd take priority over one of them gaining a good standing in thread, and having a believable claim
