I am a wood purist - preferably still alive in tree form :p
Srsly unpainted wood is more warm in a room than cold paint.

Do you think its ok to paint a wood floor?

Don't you bring your paint NEAR my wood floors. I've seen some that looked nice in magazines but I don't know what kind of wood that was. Mine are bamboo and no paint on bamboo.

How Much of the Chinese Population Will Be Living in Cities in 2040?

I am going to guess 70, maybe more, They are trashing their country fast, so I think most of China will be a toxic place in 25 years. They will either be subsisting on something futuristic, like cultured yeast foods, or importing everything. That or famine.

Looking at 5 objects within 5 feet of where you are sitting (or standing) right now, how many were made in the country in which you live?

Not more than 1 (one).

Just imagine the average girl (lets say 18, healthy, average height & weight) suffered a wound to the umbilical/hypogastric "region" of the stomach.

This wound was caused by a sterilised Sashimi knife (which is long and thin with a very sharp edge) and is about 3-4 inches in length.

Approximately, how deep would it have to be to be fatal?

And what if a traditional Chef's Knife (thicker than a Sashimi knife, with a slightly duller edge) was used - would the answer be different?

Re: Random Questions Game

Posted: Sun Dec 21, 2014 10:39 pm
by S~V~S
I would think the thicker duller knife would do more damage, tearing perhaps, not cutting as cleanly, also the bigger the knofe, the higher the likelihood that something vital is hit. The cleaner wound would be easier to fix if an organ was hit and if she survived. And a straight cut in that region could go the full 4" and not be fatal, it really depends on more variables, and on whether or not she can get to the doctor within minutes or hours, or never.

What do you want for Christmas?

I asked for some pecan oil, I think I will probably get that. I'm such a practical person that people love to give me non-practical things like smelly candles and bubble bath and skin smoothies and I LOVE those. I think I asked my dad for mongoose-related things. My very own Ron Swanson sent me an amazing Leslie Knope print.

I once had an ex-boyfriend give me a box of used bandages on our anniversary. Or maybe Valentine's - what's the worst present you've ever received?
