I think Scotty's claim makes no sense and his reaction to Wigly's claim was horrible. He accused him first of either lyin' or him bein' framed, then was just like "well, actually maybe my role could have somehow visited Lime Coke." then he claimed to visit NAA when pressured. I think he wasn't thinkin' through his claim and didn't iron out the logistics or see how it would sound like once people started pressin' him harder on it.

And by makes no sense I don't mean a lie detector existin' makes no sense, but his reaction while also being town and that role makes no sense to me, specifically the quick turn around on Wigly's claim. I think there are three possible scenarios here but only one makes sense:

1. Wigly is claimin' Scotty visited LC and Scotty is town who did not visit LC. If this is true, then why was Scotty's reaction after accusing Wigly of lying or sayin' he was framed to be like "well, maybe my role could have visited this guy somehow."? Why did he not at that point out that he had visited NAA, he only outed that piece of info once pressured.

2. Wigly is claimin' Scotty visited LC and Scotty is mafia who did not visit LC. If this was true, Scotty would continue to insist Wigly is lying and not try to deny it later on.

3. Wigly is claimin' Scotty visited LC and Scotty is mafia who did visit LC. This makes the most sense because of course as mafia you need to deny that you visited LC, but... if it really IS true then your first reaction might be to try and exploit the fact it's a bastard game because Wigly will never retract his claim as it is likely real.

Also I want to point out that while receiving a lot of pressure as a villager might make someone less enthused with the game, after it looked likely Scotty would go down he only said what sounds good and not what a villager in his position might normally say. He asked for time to solve, then did nothin' with it. He got mad at people accusin' him, but used none of those reactions to try and find scum. This could come down to playstyle differences, but even the fact that he had NAA's claim as real and didn't even seem to care much about that info is a bit bizarre to me.
