Tell me, which baddie do you think I am, and why did you think I was bad and John was not?
I have no idea. Now we know JJ was definitely bad I'm not sure if you are at all. I thought you were distancing yourself from the Sisters' kill but also thought you were sticking together with Boo early on. It's possible I'm completely stupid at this point  . Writing it out I think I was definitely wrong, it was mostly a spur of the moment nothing else to go off thing. Probably won't vote for you again.

I kinda agreed with Lizzy's thoughts about him, how a baddie wouldn't act like he had, his teammates wouldn't let him/nobody would coach that behaviour etc. Also I hadn't trusted Elo earlier and was 50/50 between her either having lied to get him lynched or told the truth and put him in a sucky position.

Linki: Because I'm not bad. There's also a pretty good chance she isn't. If it's definitely her or me I'd have to say her, but I'd also encourage you to think carefully about that.

Well, the BBC iplayer keeps buffering and I have to wait another hour to properly watch Sherlock, so I've come to argue with SVS. :p

I also would like to hear about why John was so NOT suspicious that a vote for him=instant votes for those who vote for him. Also what I missed in his past games that might have led someone to that conclusion. Oh wait, he had no past games. Hmmm.
Awww, shucks! I was going to save this for tomorrow, butt since I'm not sure I'll make through the night, why not?
Welllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll, you know that one and only VERY opportunistic vote for me? You hosted me as the last baddie standing in AG and as far as I can remember I was one of the blendiest civviest civs in that game. I'm about to be one now apparently. The idea is, you voted for me because of a self vote when Vomps and Matt had done the exact same thing, and because I already had 2 (two) votes k, followed by 'oh lol'
My main experience of her is hosting her in AG, and she played a well developed, involved game there, and was active and involved. So I have not seen this Lizzy of whom you speak, lol, or don't recall if I have.
Never forget. :mafia:

Then yesterday was pretty cool too:
1. You were SO shocked that Sorsha was lynched although you yourself admitted that you too thought she was Shawshank staff. If she was, it was anything but shocking; that kill had perfect timing.
2. Pushing for JjJJJjjjjj because Boo 'thought' he was a sister? You knew he was one. The only reason I would have had to believe JJJjj was a sister was that Elo was indeed that role checking dude, but that we couldn't know because she was NK'd k. As for Boo, of course he'd go after him - he was the easiest target in the game.
3.
Either you or Lizzy is getting my vote. Tell me why her and not you?
so what happened to :sigh:
You and i should have gotten past that silly tiff earlier in this game and started talking, not threatening each other. i will never underestimate you again.

This is the civviest thing i have seen this entire game from anyone.
4. You knew JJjJJJJJ was going to be lynched, which is why you decided to stay and enjoy the show and in the mean time throw some 'I'm a civ' stuff around.
5. JJJJjjj's behaviour was deliberate, maybe not at first, but it was brilliant strategy as the game progressed. You're one of those who would attempt to pull this off. It's a compliment k. The others might be Bullz, Russti or Dom.

Excellent result!

As for the beer options, a lot of my favorites are either lagers or stouts (I like dark, strong, flavorful beers) so I went with those two.

I mean, I take full responsibility for the fact I voted her and had reasons which I'm now questioning, but I was really unsure who to vote for. Then you started talking to me about SVS, who I might not have considered otherwise. I'm really not sure what your tactic was there since you clearly never actually intended to vote her.

I couldn't have been drunk from just two beers, but I still can't believe what I just saw happen.
Russtifinko has been killed by Elmo Blatch. It is now Day 10. You have 24 hours to lynch someone.

So the SK was alive after all. Interesting that they wait until now to kill. Maybe the Shawshank team are actually all dead and he could only start to kill when one team was gone?

I doubt it.

Which makes more sense to you:

-Tommy comes back when NKed by the guards

-Elmo Comes back when NKed by the guards

-Dom's Salinger book choice let him come back

-A civ trusted him enough to rezz him (the only civ with BTSC was lynched by that point)

???

And I still think you're the last Shawshanker. :srsnod:

You could be right about Dom, but I'm hesitant to listen to any opinions of yours now in case it turns out you're trying to lure people into voting for someone you're not suspicious of for some weird reason. I'm still not the last Shawshanker. Not a Sister either, FWIW.

Bullzeye wrote: Not only have I not heard of that being a thing on LP (Granted I only really played the last four games before it faded into irrelevance), but it just didn't seem right. You seemed like you were really trying to distance yourself from the whole thing, making it seem like something you would absolutely never do and therefore you clearly had nothing to do with it. For instance, you talk about how it's almost rude to kill baddies - though I don't think you'd said much about Sorsha until then, and nor had anyone else. Plus how does one baddie team know who's on the other? They tend to just kill indiscriminately and only avoid people who will probably get lynched. I didn't really have time to go into depth at the time, MR had convinced me to look at you and I didn't really have the amount of time I took to do that. Hence why I voted before posting. If I'd done it the other way round I'd have missed the deadline and I hate to do that. I've missed about five votes ever and always feel bad about doing
I know this was a thing on LP/TP. In the olden days. I believe I've been playing longer than you, right? I definitely knew about that, and I might remember that game on TP that SVS talked about.
Maybe.
But I definitely know that this was considered bad form-- for baddies to purposefully kill each other. The philosophy was to let the civvies sort baddies out. Just look at Dexter Mafia on LP (if a certain someone didn't delete that thread :p).
Mister Rearranger wrote:Dom, I'm trying to figure out how you're not the SK. :evileye:

Why?
Because I was rezzed and the SK killed shortly after? That's entirely circumstantial and I can tell you one thing: I am not the SK or a baddie. If I was the SK, why would I wait to kill until now? I was a live plenty of time earlier in the game. I see plenty of other options.
Vote for me if you must, but I'm not the SK.

Really? You didn't kind of influence the push to save JJ and kill SVS at all?

Are people really still suspicious of SVS?
I don't understand how. Unless you think she is the SK... which is possible. But I am not convinced. She has pushed, a lot, for a lynch of people on both teams. I doubt she's a baddie. Lizzy, MR, and Bullz if you are considering voting for her based on her being anyone other than the sk (which is possible, but I haven't seen an argument for it), then you either have your head up your ass or you're naughty.

I don't see any of the other options. Perhaps you could go over your train of thought with me?

I may not vote for you. I may vote for a Sister instead.

Oh, I did. What I'm saying is using that as an excuse for his SVS vote is pretty shoddy. To claim that he did so because I swayed him from his original intention reads BS, ESPECIALLY this late in the game. To claim he was influenced by a replacement that he was already debating about his own civility with is a matter that doesn't add up to me.

And I have nothing on SVS. I don't think she's a Sister. And I don't think she's the SK, because I still think that's you.

If I didn't make a clear enough statement by saving her from being lynched and lynching JJ instead, I will not be voting for her today. :)

That was actually the whole point of the big speech i made last night, MR. Just voting for random reason (liking Lizzy, for instance better than me) as opposed to a game reason does not make one bad, it does make one irrelevant, though. And kinda not a very fair person, tbh. Since if you are playing a game that other people are playing, you should at least attempt to play it properly. It is not fair to the people who actually enjoy playing it to do otherwise. But that certainly does not mean he is bad.

People who flew in the face of evidence and a very direct questioning during a lynch that I used all kinds of manips that i hoarded to actually get the baddie lynched instead of myself, are people i am going to think are bad. Like Lizzy, like Bullz, even like you. A Person, i have no clue why he did or did not do what he did becasue he does not really vote post or post on topic ever 9other than to call for my death). But he did the predictable thing and did what Lizzy did. So maybe she is manipulating him, not sure.

Linki, I think i have been very very clear about that :)

I'm just saying, I think the timing of his votes and posts could do for a look-back, that's all.

If you did use any of manips, you weren't the only one who used 'em to get a baddie lynched. I did. You're welcome. :)

If you speak true, then you're welcome. And where do you propose to vote today?

P.S. The timing of his votes, i have noticed, is after Lizzy votes. Which is telling enough imo.

I am leaning Dom if I cannot sort AP and Lizzy out. I'd rather catch the SK I'm more sure of as opposed to guess on a Sister and be wrong.

However, this is why I'm taking the time to discuss this with you. My vote will sit on Dom for now and I'll be around to change it as I see fit.

linki - Really pinpointing it there, aren't ya. Look at how his drive-by vote affected things yesterday. If I had not been around to catch that, change my vote (which I changed back and then almost got tripped on AGAIN by Bullz before changing one more time), you would have been a goner.

And I have nothing on SVS. I don't think she's a Sister. And I don't think she's the SK, because I still think that's you.

If I didn't make a clear enough statement by saving her from being lynched and lynching JJ instead, I will not be voting for her today. :)

In addition, are you implying I missed PMs? Ask SVS if I miss PMs; she has hosted me planty of times to know my game pretty well. I do not miss PMs. MR, you are twisting a circumstantial event to fit your misguided belief.

Personally, i think the people who worked their tails to the bone protecting John are the bigger priority.

Linki~ I do think it was possible. Mongoose made a really focused instance of target painting, and Sorsha discussed it with er. When i pointed it out, Sorsha was like, "Yeah, i noticed that too..." but she discussed it with her in thread before that. So maybe.

Do you?

No, I'm not saying you missed PMs. Many people discussed the fact that certain SKs of the past have held off on a kill or two.

You didn't answer my question. What are your "other options"?

What are your thoughts on the events of the SK striking now?

Thanks for the unnecessary sarcasm, that always makes people listen to your case better :)

And i think that is all that really matters about his timing, tbh. And thanks for patting yourself on the back there, but John would have been lynched regardless ;)

And a "guess" on a sister? Any mention of John, and Lizzy went into mega defense mode, lol. To answer your question, I felt better before the sarcasm cone and you telling me how lucky I am to have had your support.

Dom:

I don't see Tommy being rezzed as a part of his secrets

I don't see a trusting civ bringing you back

I don't see your library choice giving you a rezz, given the contents of the book

I absolutely CAN see a SK coming back from a kill and laying low for 1-2 more nights. Elmo killed on Night 9. Elmo is the only other role I can see still in play that has secrets.

linki @SVS: I think Bullz tried to kill last night and is the last Shawshanker.

Do you?
Perhaps.
How did MR vote in Boo's lynch?
MP was MR at that point. He was one of the last Boo voters. Same with Mongoose.

LINKI:
MR, it is the first odd night after Hadley died, is it not? Perhaps the SK got the kill? Perhaps the secrets have something to do with it.
You think I would hold off on killing for every night so far, for no reason?
I was one of the SKs that held off on killing before. I did so because I had successfully killed, then died, was resurrected and everyone assumed the SK was dead. That's actually similar, I'll admit to this game. However, in SVS's game I waited much much longer, I believe to kill. SVS faced a similar trial in Homestar, where she was Trogdor.
I think secret aspects of roles are at work here. I had plenty of nights to kill, MR, if I was the SK. Why would I wait until now? You didn't notice there wasn't a kill from Hadley's team?
LINKI2:
MR, I have no idea who rezzed me. I'm surprised no one has asked me yet. I am just thankful to whoever did.

So you think Bullz may be the last member of his team with a kill, but you think the sporadic SK (and with a suspect on whom you have a circumstantial case at best) is a bigger priority?

Lizzy & Bullz (who no matter what he says, should have known better) are my primary focus. Not becasue they voted for me, but becasue they voted for me for really seriously crapball reasons. They were looking for a reason to vote for me, and they could not find a smoking gun so they had to make one (or two) up.
