Going to try quoting becaues i have no idea how forum works. I've heard about forum games from players in mafia.gg (a text-based mafia website where it's much more fast paced. 24 hours / 24 nights? More like 12 minutes / 4 minute nights. And I am excited too dunya! Does the site email players when the game is starting? I know that it starts at end of july which seems far away.
The site can email you when I make a new post in the thread announcing start date! If you click on the little spanner at the top the thread then click subscribe to topic. That way it should email you every time there's a new post made. Feel free to check in and browse around and watch some ongoing games, or just strike up a convo with us in our non mafia forums.

If you have discord, please join our server too! I can also dm you there when it starts

Hello!

Just a noob-ish player here. Relatively new to FM, having 1.5 games (.5 is the in-progress)

Although, I do have some understanding of FM since before FM I played a Starcraft II mod variation of Mafia, called -Mafia-, for about 6 years. It has some notable differences compared to actual FM, such as less emphasis on behavioral analysis, more power-role heavy, and shorter gameplay (each match would last 20-30 minutes). Not to mention I've done quite some research I would think for a noob -- but that doesn't matter TOO much since I need experience in order to learn how to apply said knowledge and etc.

I originally come from Sc2 Mafia community. Then I came to Mafia Universe to have a currently-in-progress game there, and now I'm here because I've heard of a U-Pick game, which I was interested to try.

hello everyone! i'm coming over from MU, I originally signed up for the site because I wanted to find games to join in case i didn't like any of the games playing on MU... only to find out the typical phase lengths here are 2 weeks/1 week

so i'll only be playing fast paced games here, i think.

A game with 72/24 phases having to be called a blitz game is super foreign to me lol

Hi TripleHaven! None of our games are run as two weeks/one week, maybe that's mafiascum or another site? We have some games at 24/24, a lot at 48/24 and occasionally a longer one with a 72 hour day phase. We're happy to have you and glad you know some people already! Hope to play with you soon!

I come from narutoforum, a place where i mod the Mafia Section (and the OBD)
Im a Brazilian, male, 22 years old law student.
When im not writing papers and preparing for essays i chill out and play mafia/etc.
Ddl has been soft telling me to join you guys for a couple years but i guess i never got around it.
Im mostly a [redacted] but once in a blue moon i can play decently at vanilla games.
I dont usually go AFK but i may either post excessively or post very little depending on wether i have time or not.
Anyway let's see how this goes.
