Sloonei legit tried to prevent that from happening so we wouldn't town clear Lunalee. That's pretty fucking obvious to everyone right?

I supported the plan every step of the way. I just didn't want to be the one doing it.MacDougall wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 6:34 pm Sloonei legit tried to prevent that from happening so we wouldn't town clear Lunalee. That's pretty fucking obvious to everyone right?
I was trying to save Luna whom I believed the claim. I didn't want her chance of survival to be 50% if she was saying the truth, rather 100%.MacDougall wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 6:37 pm If Nova is Mafia what does he have to gain by pushing to tie them up at the end without the means to do so?
You actually tried to do it and your explanation was bad and irrational.
It was irrational, yes. I'm being honest. I chickened out of the vote personally, but I still trusted the idea. Just not myself. It wasn't rational. It was purely emotional.MacDougall wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 6:37 pm If Nova is Mafia what does he have to gain by pushing to tie them up at the end without the means to do so?

It's a rainbow list.
Why is mongoose lock town?MacDougall wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 6:38 pm Lunalee = Locktown

I see it. It's why I backed out.
Mongoose was already pretty well locktown but she just happily and easily contributed to town clearing Lunalee.Sloonei wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 6:41 pmWhy is mongoose lock town?MacDougall wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 6:38 pm Lunalee = Locktown

Please go highlight the instances where I actually resisted, instead of just saying "Hey, I don't trust myself to be the one doing this."MacDougall wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 6:44 pm I think townfirming Luna does enough (given we have little else to go by) to clear luna, mongoose and juliets. It should clear me too.
Nova/Sloonei/Llama.
Sloonei tried to prevent the townclear by outright voting Colin vs. Luna (who the Mafia knew was a double voter). I think he knew he had to do it and is wifoming it away because he knew townclearing Luna would break the game.
I believe Sloonei and Nova orchestrated it and have decided that they have to turn on each other now and hope we mislynch once. This is tree Mafia all over again.
And you think that's the best reason I could come up with to resist it as mafia?MacDougall wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 6:46 pm I don't trust myself to be the one doing this is the shallowest and lamest reason I've ever heard and I don't believe you for a second.

At 15 minute til EOD Sloonei felt comfortable that we were cruising towards a civ/civ lynch.Sloonei wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 6:48 pmAnd you think that's the best reason I could come up with to resist it as mafia?MacDougall wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 6:46 pm I don't trust myself to be the one doing this is the shallowest and lamest reason I've ever heard and I don't believe you for a second.
I'm saying luna's rationale is the reason I backed out. I approved of the plan, but I personally felt conflicted about doing it. I stepped aside because I didn't want to resist it. Anybody could have facilitated that thing. Why the fuck does it matter that I didn't want to be the one to do it? It happened on my watch and I didn't speak out against it. If I'm Darth Sloonei I can argue against it from the start using Actual Reasons.MacDougall wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 6:48 pmnovaselinenever wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 6:39 pmI was trying to save Luna whom I believed the claim. I fully anticipated that one of the several other people present would change their vote in the 20 minutes we had available to us. I was going to suggest it myself and may very well have moved my vote back if no one else stepped up.MacDougall wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 6:55 pmIt must suck to have to repost such a stupid and shallow reason and point at it as your civ defence case.Sloonei wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 6:53 pm @MacDougall WOw look at this strong resistance, this guy hates this plan.Sloonei wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 6:16 pmYeah I'm too much of a coward to do the honors, I guess.MacDougall wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 6:15 pm @juliets if sloonei has decided to abandon sense and reason perhaps you would do us the courtesy of moving your vote instead
You just didn't anticipate Juliets having the gall to immediately move her vote. That's because Juliets is the Queen. And you are a schmuck.

I get impulsive at deadlines. I listen to my gut and my heart. I felt that the plan made logical sense, but I wasn't the best person to be in control of the situation. I considered myself to be a liability in the plan. I didn't want to be the one to do it.Sloonei wrote: ↑Thu Nov 30, 2017 2:48 amSo do I. It was an impulsive emotional decision. Okay but then you have to suppose that I'm Sloonei, supertown status, confidence out my ass, in the most stable position I can possibly be in, and then chicken the fuck out of a plan that would further solidify my credibility for absolutely no fucking reason at all because whoops I guess I just don't want to for some reason?MacDougall wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 7:03 pm Be Sloonei.

Tomorrow we should vote for Mongoose. Why? Because she's quiet. Game solved.
Sloonei wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 6:44 pm Mafia would have known that both Luna and Colin are scum. They would not care which one gets lynched. They could concoct a scheme that would pseudo-clear one of them at the chance of creating a 50% scenario of lynching either one. If Colin ends up lynched then we have one additional cleared civilian, but we're no closer to solving the game with one day phase left to do it. If Luna gets lynched, then Colin remains Suspect #1 heading into MYLO.
If luna does get lynched, you can quickly spin any hint of resistance from a civilian against them.
There's the "Macdougall is mafia" case.
This seems like an overreaction.Sloonei wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 7:10 pm I'm just gonna play the most bland ass vanilla games for the rest of my life because any time I do anything remotely out of the ordinary people will go to incredible lengths to assign the most ludicrous mafia motivation to whatever I've done.
