Have you ever considered that being rigid is just how I am? Like have you ever played with town me to know that I can be a stiff in general?

I flow more freely as mafia because I don't feel the pressure to actually solve to myself, and don't feel shackled by my own meta. Showing passion at all is a towntell, humor a scumtell.

This comes across as extremely ’so there’ to me. I don’t think that Lon Con was actually in any danger of being lunched when he commented this and it’s kind of a discussion closer. It seems unnecessary. If it was a joke, then it's gone over my head and stood out in a bad way.

Just had the idea that this is a Jack & Mac scheme. Max sudden insight at the eleventh hour and Jack innocently not even knowing the lynch was up, while conveniently being several pages behind and watching Animaniacs... just all kind of convenient. Also Mac keeps listing me as town on his list while calling me scum in the thread, which makes no sense.

I think paranoia is a good mark of townies, it’s hard to fake and have it feel genuine. Lon Con’s tin foil hat theory about Mac and Sloonie being the remaining 2 wolves post-JackofHearts2005 lunch doesn’t feel genuine to me. I expect paranoia theories to either be gradually built, or a snap reaction and this is neither. It’s all over the place, I jusy don’t follow the logic that led him to that conclusion.

Also the argument he has post-JackofHearts2005 lunch. I’d expect a townie to accept it and move on once it becomes obvious they’re getting no credit, he doesn’t.

Wow, I just reread this and Lon Con does not at all suggest that Sloonie is a wolf. My brain was to focused on both names at once. I still keep all the other stuff I wrote, I just realised that bit was completely false.

Wow, what a fun turn of events. In general, I don’t do early game reads. I rely a lot on meta to be able to read people and I don’t have that here obviously. The amount of jargon and the way people post here have been jarring I guess (it has been very hard for me to get into the game) and I think contributed to what people are calling stilted.

My vote would be Lon Con but you've made it well known that you disagree with that suggestion.

I think that was phrased poorly. I'm still going to vote for you. My point was that I highly doubtful that he (and others) would follow. I'm not voting for Sloonie (the current 2nd place vote getter), he's one of the people that I'm most confident is town. If we're going to lynch a townie, I'd far rather have it be a suspicious townie than a wild last minute swing onto someone that is generally regarded as trusted. Suspicious townies muddle the waters, as has been evident.

My point, which I think is pretty self-evident is that suspicious townies are a net negative for the town and a positive for the wolves. They're not killed because they're easy to mislynch. But ultimately if I'm going to be continuously distracting, then it's not a terrible play. The best solution is to be less suspicious, but apparently I don't excel at that, no matter where I am.

I don’t buy the “I’m suspicious wherever I am” You managed to place yourself firmly in people’s town lists within the span of 5 to 10 posts. It’s either you’re presenting an unfair assessment of your situation in games or you are scum that’s using that as a leverage to get town read. Quite frankly, I would like to see some of your games and see whether that is the truth.

What I draw from this is that you are bound to get pushed as either alignment.

I think the main point against Sloonei has been the dramatic shift in activity compared to early game, but I don't think that weight strongly against his earlier behaviour which was pretty pro-town in my eyes.

I haven’t nearly the faith in my reads that I’d like to have on any Night 3. This is the game though, and I have tried numerous ways to fix that. I could have lynched literally seven people yesterday.

Broaden this concept to “unreadable quiet players” which includes the new people, motobot, and had to an extent even reflected dear departed Soneji.

I read all of them town except for possibly Myo but I'm acknowledging a=the possibility of being wrong on scum!her.

I could also be wrong on town!Jiwon because her last batch of posts have been just absolutely horrible.

But I'm sticking by my reads and if they're wrong, it is what it is. The only person I'm feeling mafia is Myo. And I'm still waiting for an explanation of her meta on her site.

She argued that she is being suspected all the time, but she town cleared herself within the span of 5 posts at EoD by the vets. She's either blatantly lying or her fellow players have to be pretty bad. What I get from that is that her scum game HAS to be similar to her town game.

I think you vets should bolster your bonds between each other and seek out who the weak link might be.

The game state feels weird because nobody is really talking about the people that they know. You have easy reads between each other, start forming town cores and then we can see if there's scum out of the vets.

There's slight pushes on Long Con and sig. Read their ISOs, give a conclusion, that's where the general consensus goes as to "they might be scum, but ehhhhhhhhhh", or at least how I see the game state.

I'll say that Myo's EOD wasn't quite as pure as Spacedaisy's had been before her. It was enough to make me think a different direction was warranted, and unfortunately I interpreted some of Soneji's last posts wrongly.

I interpreted it as busy work to escape the lynch. Pretty much avoided the lynch then dipped.

Doesn't even care about Long Con or me or anyone that she took the time to talk about / place them in scum leans.
