I continue to feel great about the state of the game. I am comfortable with my civilian reads; indeed that is only becoming more true as Day 1 progresses.

My clear POE pool remains: ColinIsCool, DrWilgy, sprityo, Long Con, and Funnygurl555. I said earlier in the phase that my goal was a pool of seven, so I have room for two more on the tinfoil side. I’d look first to Alison and TonyStarkPrime for that “tier”.

Anyone who has severe misgivings about this arrangement (ideally beyond “I’m on the list, how dare you”) should speak up.

Do you ordinarily start developing tinfoil reads on Day 1?

My understanding is that tinfoils is a way to root out suspected deepwolves as endgame nears and the pool of people with high wolf equity have all been killed. So I'm not sure why you're already forming a list of players you want to tinfoil as early as today.

I keep them in my back pocket for the sake of due diligence. I don’t tend to dwell on them though. Paranoia is not necessary until it is.

“Tinfoil” is also a bit strong a term. Instead I could be more general: “players I view as civilians for whom I could make arguments to the contrary if I wanted to”

You said you aren't going to be around EoD. Do you intend to leave your vote on LC before EoD then?

Long Con is a player I’d chop. He’s not the only candidate. I’ll see how I feel when I have to place my final vote.

I really do think Kitsu's posts have been incredibly townie in ways that are incredibly difficult to fake, especially for a player new to TS and still trying to get comfortable with the format and culture

Oh no, it was just a way to emphasize how strongly I felt about Kitsu's alignment. I only realized later it made no sense because they're a claimed Miller. You can replace it with "mod-confirmed to be scum" or something along those lines.

Alison - maybe my top townread, feels like the most solviest mindset and I find myself nodding a lot in agreement

JJJ - seems like a duh at this moment

Long Con - his conflict with JJJ feels towny to me, like he legitimately feels singled out or just doesn’t get the shade.

KitsuShel: angle shooty reasons

People who feel within a town meta for me include Tony, sabie, Wilgy, Epi, and NANOOK but I feel less confident about these minus the ones I mentioned earlier (sabie, NANOOK).

I found myself agreeing the most with the early funnygurl suspicions and that’s seemed to have died off a bit but it seems like the best way to go.

Tony being a wolf is minuscule lean because he decided to answer Jagged's game with answers other than good or bad, which I believe tends to come from wolves more than town. But it doesn't seem like anyone is gonna go there

Mostly kind of a joke? Idk a lot of people have hang ups about/very strict definitions of what constitutes unfair angle shooting, so AS does stand for angle shooting AFAIK but I’m also poking fun at how uptight people can be sometimes

It doesn't belong in the game honestly, I usually stick with [redacted] reasons if I decide to use stuff like that, or don't use it at all. It's hilarious because if used to call someone a wolf it has a negative connotation, but if you use it to call someone town, it's better?

I never said anything about Jay because I was only discussing the reason why I didn’t believe it was W/W. That reason was based upon LC’s behavior, not Jay’s. I wasn’t explaining guilt or innocence for either of them, just that I really didn’t believe they were both on the baddie team together.

Some people would consider “Epi never NKs someone on their first night in their first game on site” to be angleshooting! I wouldn’t, to be clear. It’s a word with an ambiguous definition.

I do at least like Colin coming in and playing immediately. I’m moving my placeholder to Wilgy for now.

Sorry, since wisp used the acronym and seemed to not want to say the actual word, I didn't know if there was something wrong with the word, like how we are phasing out of the word Lynch.

I didn't understand the acronym until he explained it, then I realized what it meant.

IIRC, someone subbed in for a scum, and I was angle shooting that in my mind a great deal, and when it came time to decide if I suspected the person, I think I overcompensated to remove my angle shooting bias, and it bit me in the ass.

Honestly the kits read isn’t even that angelshooty, it’s just that they’re unlikely to have partners based on how their miller claim progressed

I’m not gonna put any effort into defending him cause I don’t feel strongly town at all, but Wilgy feels like a crapshoot lynch at this point.

I think there’s a group of 4 [colin/wilgy/LC/sprityo] that all have roughly similar odds of flipping mafia

Largely based on my confidence in my towncore meaning that group is correspondingly significantly >rand mafia

But sure we can start with wilgy instead
