SVS summed up my thoughts regarding Soneji so far, and Made summed up my thoughts regarding SVS. I will need to see something stronger than what has been presented against Soneji if I'm going to vote for him.

I doubt I will vote for SVS and I like most of what she has said today, but I've been less-than-confident about her but without a hard case for most of the game. I noted that her strong push against Wilgy on Day 1 looked a bit forced to me, if I am remembering correctly.

Are there enough people here to try the famed GTH exercise?

But yeah, re my last message, basically the entirety of my attention (for the most part anyways) was focused on the people in the other group. Like even ones that hadn't gotten heat yet, like Sorsha I kind wanted to discuss today. Needless to say, the beach has definitely thrown me off balance. The only people even on my radar N1 here were SVS and Soneji.
But enough whining, we're here. Let's get a baddie out of it.

Gun To Head. The exercise works like this: We go through the complete list of players a couple at a time, and everyone gives a Gun-to-head read of that player; either civ or bad/town or scum/etc.. The object is to force everyone to take a stance on everyone else. No neutral reads allowed, just a quick gut reaction. Afterwards we compare results and discuss from there. It works best if there's a good amount of people participating, obviously.

Forced how? Do tell.

It is tough to do without being able to look back on the old posts, but from my recollection you appeared to latch onto something early (Wilgy's supposed slip, I believe) and held onto it as the basis for your lone suspicion for a little while. One thing that I look for in baddies is an insistence on their initial suspect. I think sometimes a player who is bad will pick one player to target as their suspect early in a game, and will stick with that suspect to avoid being accused of not contributing original thoughts.
I forget how you finished the day and I have mostly liked your contributions here today.

I held onto it until Mac was lynched and came back with a role in his PM. I was planning on flogging it until I lynched him, lol. This is how I play. You are not from the same Mafia universe as I am. I am thinking RYM.

In any case I am not one of the people after you at this stage.

Bea- Baddie
Boom- Slight Baddie (but i'm betting on quiet meta atm)
Cheerleader- Epignosis
Golden- Civvie
John Coltrane- I really don't have a read on this person... like i don't think i remember a single post from him all game....and they haven't posted today. So Civvie. maybe baddie team mate would be like yo wtf are you doing
Juliets- Civvie but nearest baddie of all civvie reads
MM- Civvie
Priz- Civvie
Llama- Civvie

Not sure why people think my meta comment had to do with Mac when it was in response to the suggestion of finding out who the sock puppets were so they could be meta read. Nor was it saying that we shouldn't be using meta, just that we shouldn't devote too much of our resources on just that one tool, especially when the sock puppets if anti-town would likely aim to not give their real identity away, giving too wide a pool for meta analysis to be viable.

@juliets : Why would I want to research meta from a second hand perspective as a player who doesn't put much stock into meta? Would be a waste of my time.

As for those looking into my own meta, you should find that I don't shy away from mentioning my teammates as mafia. I have heavily bussed my teammates from early phases in all the games I was mafia.

The people I feel most likely to be bad are in red. Everyone else is null or civ, imo. Unlike many in here, I recall liking some of what Coltrane said (I JUST WISH I COULD REMEMBER WHAT IT WAS!!!). The Prisoner took a lot of flak, not sure why. Jules is like a giant blind spot for me, as I think i am for her. Same for Llama.

All three of us have called bea a baddie read. This is interesting.
I have nothing substantial on llama except for the little bit of bus-potential analysis I did during the night. Call that a gut read, I guess.

I skipped Dona because I was just looking at the poll. I'd GTH her bad as well. I doubt we have 4 baddies on this beach.

Actually soneji my question to you doesn't make much sense now that you remind me your meta comment was in regards to Golden's wanting to know who the socks were. I still had in my head that you were talking about Mac.

His vote for Mac yesterday suggested he put earnest thought into it and I thought it looked good, and has otherwise looked like a typical marmot, according to my sources.

Made also had a good looking Mac vote yesterday and I don't get any sense that he is lying or making any calculated moves in his posts. He just seems to be sharing his thoughts when he has them. I would not classify him as a strong town read, though.

For context I'm a math major. Numbers are fun and stuff. Sadly, I do not remember how many post MM had, but pretty sure it was above both of us....maybe next to Llamas? don't quote me on that one tho. Pretty sure Quin was above me. And the list was alphabetical for ties so I listed me over you even tho we had the same post number

I was in the upper echelon. Probably around 60-70, and easily top 10, maybe top 5.

But yes SVS, Made's memory is pretty amazing.

I don't think juliets has done anything 'bad'. She just seems like a very calculated player, and I find that difficult to read and easy to be paranoid about.

Sure! I'm skeptical of an unknown entity that just joined the thread today.

We're all skipping Donna in our GTH reads. How do we read her?

So far Bea is dominating the Bad reads. I'm going to put my vote on her.

That said, the staggered nature of this GTH leaves it open to potential baddie manipulation. This is why it's best to get it all out at once, but oh well.

I had a null read on Donna due to not much to read, but then she put up a few beefy posts. I just don't recall WHAT she said.

And I won't be voting Bea until I hear more from her. She had a busy weekend but the weekend is over.

I'm definitely waiting to hear more from Bea. She has the power to sway my vote off of her.

For the sake of my GTH chart, could you pick a side on Donna? Even if it is totally unsubstantiated.

That's just my impression, but I'm sure you do. I tend to be wary of you for some reaosn. You, like Golden and Jay, are very good at not being lynched.

just realized svs is the only one who actually remembered Donna, so scratch the second part.

Donna = Good

Based on those posts I remember liking but not liking enough to remember what they said lol.
