And that's exactly why I defended you earlier. Whether you put stock in meta or not, that's fine, but for me, I find you hard to read, so I put some value in it, especially early on. The idea that JOH was actually suspicious of him is clearly untrue. The idea that I was fanning flames follows as untrue, since the first thing was untrue. You should be able to understand all this, and dismiss the whole idea as not worth following.

If JOH didn't suspect him, why say anything? It doesn't matter whether the suspicion was RVS or "fake" or whatever, it still was posted in the thread and still influences the course of the game. "Random voting stage", sorry. It just means a suspicion or vote cast as a "fake" suspicion or vote, usually done so in a very obvious fashion, to get reactions or discussion going.

And now that there are other bandwagons forming I think I'm safe in saying that I completely agree with JJJ re sloonei. When I was scum with him in AOL he was very much off topic and then defensive. It's what I bussed him for, anyway. It's not much to go on, but for day 1 it's voteable. Considering him for my vote. Also makes me feel safer re JJJ.

I am all over the place. My playstyle is pretty much feeling uncertain about myself at every possible moment except in the occasional instances when I find something I chew over and I convince myself and everyone else I feel the exact opposite even though internally I'm still plagued with indecision.

The "trying to appear helpful" is my baddie MO because it's the only way I can replicate my actual MO, which is spewing all of my indecisive thoughts into the thread at breakneck speed in an attempt to work with other people in real time to make sense of it all -- all because I'm incredibly verbose and not particularly great at discerning whether someone is lying to me over the internet or not.

If you can point out a specific instance in which I seem disingenuous, please let me know, and I'll do my best to clarify where I'm coming from. Otherwise I feel like you all have just forgotten how I usually play.

Sigh. It does matter a little. Bass has a solid history of lurking well into the late stages of the game. DF definitely does not, and I know he lives here in San Antonio with me and Daisy so his reasons for missing the game could be Harvey-related. I suppose I could join you though if you had a real solid preference. I'd rather be consolidated in the end, but I do have a distinct preference for Bass over DF or any low poster for the reasons previously expressed.

Because I don't actively suspect Jay at all, so I would call him neutral. I just have "weirds" for him, if that makes sense, but they're pretty abstract and I explained to you precisely why I think I would vote for him GTH in that post, even though I wouldn't call him a suspect.

In early stages of games, I don't work well with suspects. I used to be big on grilling people over baseless minutiae in early game but it always ended in a disaster so I purposefully restrain myself from going off into the deep end anymore. If something catches my eye, I inquire the person about it. If that explanation doesn't meet my satisfaction, then I call them a suspect. I haven't yet had that happen this game.

I'll consider your assessment of Sloonei. I just personally didn't read him that way and feel he has been genuine. I'll look over his posts again with your recent experience of him in mind.

I do like to toss votes out early, but I'm still concerned that you're saying things for the sake of saying things, to use your own language. Game mechanic speculation and whether ryu was superior to ken in mvc2 takes second place to scumhunting, ESPECIALLY on day one.
