17: Refridgerator (Haiku). Each night, you may choose one player who must post in haiku for the entire following day phase. At least 10 haiku must be posted. Unless the hosts deem that they have failed to meet the haiku requirement sufficiently, no votes cast against that player will count during that day.
15: Cecil (Welcome to Night Vale). Each night, you can write a news article to be published in the thread via the host.
I think it is safe
to assume these are civ roles
something to think on.

I figured it was to introduce that us/them dynamic like in Survivor.
Is it "us and them"
In that case should we try to
lynch weaker players?
Sure, if we stay here past day one. But we also have time to form suspicions sine this is ultimately a Mafia game not a LMS game, so the weaker players might be five.
Similar game mechanic but different dynamic, yes?
So Chuck and sprit came in acted zany and left?

No I was annoyed at Chuck's stupid crack but I got over it because I missed playing and people stopped name calling
I'm really a butt
Most people get used to it
'cause I could be worse

Well, then do we really want to catch someone who didn't send in a Haiku? Will there actually be a benefit from that, or is it just story to move the game along? Because if we actually want to catch someone on the haiku thing we just round robin vote since anyone who paid the entry fee is immune.
But I would think that is just storytelling?
A round robin vote
Is something I would endorse
Very good idea.
This is what I sent:
I must forgive your
Reflexive pronoun misuse
And then I can play
S~V~S wrote: ↑Fri Feb 23, 2018 9:38 pmWe are all voting in a circle to drive a group tie to flush out who didn't send in a haiku. Not sure if that was storytelling or not in the host post about finding those who did not send in a haiku.
I can't endorse this plan. Is the objective to work out who is at a disadvantage or work out who is bad? Haikus were sent before roles were sent.
I am not interested in flushing out who didn't send in a haiku.

My plan is simple
I want the lynch to result
In a role reveal

The way the host post was worded I wasn't sure that that wasn't our objective, so .
It's also a plus in that it started conversation, people always object to plans. We have 48 hours and a room full of people who can't be lynched for the most part, we need something to talk about. Making aubergine jokes only goes so far.

SVS, how CC123 worked was there were like 101 roles and 21 players so every time someone died they got a new role (and new alignment, there were several teams) until all of the roles had been assigned. So yeah this is a simpler version of that
Eh no I don't like this round robin plan or whatever it's called. I want to lynch scum.
Lynching at randon just because it gives us a result is worse than trying to lynch and having a good chabce of failure. We learn nothing from the former since votes were meaningless. From the later we at least have a vote tally we can dissect later.

Agreed, but most of us can't be lynched.
What do you propose we do?
Any pings from reading the thread?

We still learn nothing
The mafia can hide votes
If they know they're safe.

Not yet.
He derides the plan
But offers no replacement
Huh, how does that work?
