What exactly is a soul read again, just gut?

It’s when Jay stares into your soul and sees you for who you really are. When he told me who I really was, I had to stop playing Mafia for five years, I was so shook.

Saying I wasn't genuine in being tired of the game because the game just started sounds like fake shit to me. She may have genuinely misunderstood me, but her interpretation given her understanding is hard to take seriously. nova has only said what he likes to see in a check-in post. He's said nothing about what he learned from questioning you. It was a pointless exercise until we learn what he got from that interaction.

Before now, I was green and he was orange, if we're to equate your scoring earlier to something. Your explanation for that switcharoo is only justified by which of the two of us you like more. There's no hint of suspicion there. So I'll disagree with the latter.

1. Why is your check-in post a conversation I have to have with nova? You were also discussing it with him. Don't pass the buck.

2. By putting me as orange and nova as green, you infer that in your mind, one of the two of us is bad. Because you've said nothing else about me that would justify that placement. But you also deny that reasoning when you tell me that one of us doesn't have to be bad. Your read is fabricated.

Eh, first of all, the game has changed. Off the top of my head, one example would be the introduction of POE reads. I felt like that was a poor way to find mafia. Second, life has been crazy, I've been dealing with migraines that totally take me away from living life for a week or more at a time. I'm working with my doctor and taking meds to try to fix it and my body feels all kinds of screwed up because of them. I hate meds. And, my doctor is worried and trying to get me into a neurologist. (Trying not to think/worry about that.) Then, on top of work and teaching, I am now co-coordinator in our homeschool group and will be working a lot on preparing for next year and then actually running our co-op next year. The mix between not liking the way things are played and real life kicking my butt makes me apathetic about mafia. I'd rather be playing go-fish with my kid or spending my time really getting to know people as friends rather than bullshitting in a game. Go ahead, tell me to man-up

If you're the manager, and you have to pull one guy of the lineup, do you take out Nolan Arenado, who could, yes, have a bad night, or do you take out a guy who hasn't even shown up to batting practice?

Because I'm not taking out Nolan over a guy who hasn't even shown up to batting practice. I'll wait until I see Nolan struggle and then make a decision then. But not before the game even starts. That's irresponsible.

All else being equal, sure, I agree with this. Hopefully we don't have any guys missing batting practice by the end of this phase though. Perhaps that's wishful thinking.

This more or less sums up my feelings too. Kinda weird to do a policy lynch on day 1, but there are benefits.
