That's now what I got from your summary. Your summary made it sound I voted for them then dropped it after their "Hi dunya" post which was their first post. I voted for Dizzy after. I told TH why I voted there at the time and why I had Quin and nova in my suspect pool. Because everyone else had given me at least one reason to say they could be town and those 3 hadnt. Dizzy came in and threw up a poe list and indicated they will have more time to discuss tomorrow. That's cool. That list is more than most people have pushed for so I moved off them.

Does that paint a better picture of my thought process than the one scumchuck is trying to push?

I thought so too. And I thought we have a vig instead of a doctor but I didn't wanna seem stupid if I'm not understanding the space lingo in the role names.

It's a given if we have a cop we would have a godfather to balance it, I think, but perhaps we have a tracker instead.

Engineer = doctor. I skimmed the roles.

I've played SEVERAL games with cops and without godfathers. Do you want me to link them to you?

And no, I don't know that there's a cop/doctor combo. It's my best guess based on a setup like this I played on another site.

No. I was accusing him of knowing there was a godfather. A godfather indicates a cop. He didn't even see the survailence part of that role and called it a doctor and called the second one a possible cop. Yeah I don't think speed would make this big a mistake as scum.

Ignoring what I think is a doctor, we have 2 mislynches available before LYLO. In order to give us an extra day, the doctor would have to protect successfully twice. That is unlikely. Therefore, if the doctor DOES protect someone, it might be helpful for them to claim and name their target at endgame, or if things are going badly.

If the cop gets a guilty check, go ahead and claim obviously. Getting half the mafia is great.

These claims might be more contested if we don't get roleflips from nightkills.

I like the setup, it's pretty standard.

Not really. Game mechanic and roles is not something I bother myself with. There's 2 PRs whatever they are. They aren't worthless. I will not lynch a complete no show in a Heist with 9 players, ever because of that. Whoever is a PR, good luck!

Here's my take on the roles for anyone who's interested:

Spacemen of the United States Space Force

1x Satellite Surveillance Engineer - this would make sense as a cop role. The "surveil" other players and receive some visual feedback on them
1x Mars Space Force Base Alpha death ray laser beam operator - death beam operator has to be a townie with a one-shot kill. Whoever has this role, please don't use it on the first night. Wait until we have better ideas on people, so you don't shoot town in the foot.
5x Vanilla Space[wo]men -boring townies

Those who threaten the freedom of the United States of America and its dominance of outer space

1x Chinese or Maybe Russian or even Lunar Alien with space plasma nukes - extra kill for scum team. Perhaps it's a one-shot to off set town's death beam operator
1x Vanilla National Security Threat - boring baddie

Also I think Speed v Dunya is Town v Town. Dunya mentioned the godfather role on instinct, because it's a pretty common role in mafia. But I think she's wrong because it sounds to me like scum would have an extra shot ability instead of godfather ability.

Well now I really feel like a butt.

I'll come back and pursue other people later. Dunya's thing with the Godfather sorta makes sense, and isn't much different from me assuming random things about the townpeople. Could be a scumslip, but not likely.

The other inconsistency stands because of tense usage. There are some things that don't look great.

So yeah, I'd say I scumread Dunya after reflexively tunnelling her to the point that I'm hitting her over the head with the shovel.

Meanwhile half the players haven't been involved in this discussion and the only other person I've read is Turbup head.

for my info. I have at least one reason to town read people in the top list. I have 0 reason for the bottom 3. I'll be lynching someone there today.

I'm town though. I'm up for hearing the reasons for the town reads. I have sabie as a town read and that's it at this point.

Not to be as obnoxious as Speed (I don't think you are, Speed (and I don't think I need to clarify that really : p)), but what do you mean by that first thing specifically? Where is it coming from? From my pov it looks more like you've been making your mind up to scum read people and then just go for that. Do you think that's unfair to say?

I'm very much following Speed's perspective. I do thing we have similar ways of thinking in games, but really my reason for thinking he's town is the "wait a minute" kind of turn at dunya.
Knd of want to yolo read Luna town for what I think are really unrealistic setup speculations. Am I dumb?
I don't really have a read on Turnip, but I don't find anything wrong in their posts.

dunya is really the only one that stands out to me that makes me go nope. Don't like the way she left me (even if the push itself was random), cause at that time I had said I scum read two players who were her town reads. The push on Speed doesn't seem to come from anywhere. Also also the calling out Speed for voting what could be PTs is lol, cause that's like exactly what she did. Thoughts?

I think dunya town read both Space and Quin (?) Would she do that if they were teamed?
