I was very sure about how I wanted to enter the thread. The mess was on purpose. I strongly disagree. It's perfectly natural.novaselinenever wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2019 5:13 pmIt's not only the lack of expanding but more so your whole entrance. You start with that strong vouch, then when prodded turns to light jokes and icebreakers using the theme and host to pull you through the thread. It's a big mess, and it feels like you weren't sure how to enter the thread and went on with a mix of down to business following the marks of the early gth reads and trying to be 'fun'. It's not natural.
Also why the need to comment "nothing scummy about that"?
Nah, I don't like those.
Explain to me why this is of such importance and what exactly about it is scummy. Did you think I was serious with the vouch? If so, why?JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2019 11:50 am Yes Dragomir is a kitty read in the absence of some explanation for vouching for me after Epi’s attack.
I did interpret you as being serious, yes. I didn't even necessarily think the [hypothetically serious] read itself was a problem; it just needed some expansion. You say you were goofing around, and that's fine. I will have to decide how I feel about that. I have at least some doubt. I don't particularly care though. I am going to decide what to do with Dragomir when I see what Dragomir provides to the hunt.Dragomir wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2019 5:26 pmExplain to me why this is of such importance and what exactly about it is scummy. How about instead of explaining the read itself, you talk about why you made the post.
If you're going to decide what to do with me after you see whether or not I'm producing then what was up with the early suspicion and vote then?JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2019 5:29 pmI did interpret you as being serious, yes. Since I saw that you guys like to do first impressions.novaselinenever wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2019 5:34 pmHuh, since when? I kinda remember us going through them before and me prodding you for them.
I highlighted the part that creates the uncertainty, Mr. Omir. You may genuinely feel that way, but as someone not inside your mind I didn't get that impression. I remembered in the Persona 5 game you made a pretty early mafia read on me, and it kinda mapped as close enough to congruent.Dragomir wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2019 5:37 pm The suspicion on me is not really warranted. You guys took out of proportion without good reason. All signs pointed to me just fooling around. It was random, had no basis or anything to support it. Doing something as foolish as refusing to lynch x player out of the blue is out of the question for someone like me. You guys know the kind of player that I am already, it takes a while for me to get married to a town read and I don't even like to give them out. Many red flags showing you that I wasn't serious at all.
Now moving on from me, what do you guys think about LC?

I operate very differently with mafia reads. I haven't had major gripes with LC to this point. I thought his car semi-joke looked like it came from a real place. I saw what you said about him before, and I do have a thought. I want LC to answer you himself before I blab though.

Forced pocket/mindmeld, Mac cat.
I don't think it's taken out of proportion at all. It's so fucking dumb since you could have shut it down so easily by saying that you weren't serious, and directed the conversation way from the whole having a read and being reluctant to expand on it. I'm not sure why you didn't. It's not like you need to start playing seriously to do so. Instead, you double-downed and went the whole with not feeling like it and "it's not scummy". Why?Dragomir wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2019 5:37 pm The suspicion on me is not really warranted. You guys took out of proportion without good reason. All signs pointed to me just fooling around. Let's not do this thing in this game and just fast forward to where we town read each other and let the Mafia solve us hmmm?JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2019 5:49 pmForced pocket/mindmeld, Mac cat.
I'll fastforward if you do something that looks like a civilian. You don't have to be 100% Mac, but I'm not just skipping the "figure out Mac" portion of solving the game.MacDougall wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2019 5:50 pm Let's not do this thing in this game and just fast forward to where we town read each other and let the Mafia solve us hmmm?

I continued doing it for these reasons: 1. never expected it to be taken this far. 2. I realized that I could get a read from this tizzy that I created and that's exactly what happened with my read on LC.novaselinenever wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2019 5:49 pmI don't think it's taken out of proportion at all. I liked his early posts messing around, getting a care-free attitude vibe from them and him rather than fluffing to avoid contributing and appear fake friendly.
