I don't think he wrote that post in a way that was meant to be taken as a joke though. Like it's sandwiched between two relatively seriously looking reads. I think there's a pretty serious chance that he was just trying to throw out some random made up reads and picked two random names he saw skimming through the thread without realizing he picked the host.

I don't think scum literally just flat out lie about reads. I'd think he'd at least try to make real ones and not pick random names. So I don't see what you're talking about here

Made accused me of being too helpful. that's one of those reads that happens a lot but i don't recall seeing much of it from mafia-aligned people. it's the most basic "my distrustful instincts have been triggered by your kindness" sort of perspective that town people uniquely have.

did the tone of that post from made ping you at all? it bothered me in the sense that made was outing three distinct thoughts (a reaction to tutuu, a read on you, a general comment on the game), but they were meshed together in a way that gave me the vibe that made felt uncomfortable/nervous

this is a tell i've noticed that scum tend to do in the beginning of games recently, but i don't know how to fully explain it so i might just be crazy talking

do you mean when esooa disagreed w/alison's townread on you? i thought that was kind of NAI

but i did like esooa reacting to tutuu townreading her by outright calling tutuu scum - it felt counter-intuitive to the mindset that i think esooa!scum would be in at the beginning of the game. she would probably be relieved to be TR right out of the gate instead of directly questioning the people townreading her

i did townread esooa for almost the exact same reason in our last game, so i'm cautious that she might be doing it again to pocket me lol
