I just want to give a big thank you to my defenders, DFaraday, Vomps, and Bullz. You guys get me, and you are the best.

Bullz, did you think Llama was civvie when you said this?Bullzeye wrote:
It's early to be throwing out that kind of thing isn't it? Missing a day zero vote isn't exactly a sign of being a baddie.
Just wondering.
Does Keterman checking in late make him bad or his opportunistic vote? I don't see his checking in late as bad. His vote-- yes.thellama73 wrote:I'm voting for Keterman too. Last one to check in and an opportunistic vote for me piggybacking on Boogs. Especially when I am obviously civ.

Re: [FELT Mafia]: Day 0
Neither of those things "make" him bad. The role he was assigned is the only thing that can make him good or bad. I famously like to vote for people who miss votes and don't participate, because it makes the game more fun, so that is one. Two is his vote for me, and three is the fact that I had a better chance to save myself by voting for him, since he already had a vote. Four is a hunch.Dom wrote:Does Keterman checking in late make him bad or his opportunistic vote? I don't see his checking in late as bad. His vote-- yes.thellama73 wrote:I'm voting for Keterman too. I am doing school with the kiddos, finishing up laundry from our camping trip, and the kids have gymnastics at 11am. I don't have time to catch up and I won't be here to vote later so I have to do it now. I am randomizing :/. *votes keterman*
Banners are cool, but a pain to scroll through so...
I've won a lot of games. I've hosted some games. The end.

oh wow....I had no idea I was the 5th to vote him.....weird that is who came out randomly for me when so many others already voted him. May I add, I know some of you watch the thread and probably have seen me signed in for a while, but truth is, I signed in to try and catch up but have not sat down to look at the thread til now....so even though I have been signed in, I haven't had a chance to read anything.

Good morning, felters!

While you are eating your nutritious breakfast, don't forget to vote in today's poll. You have about 2 hours left to do so.
Please poke me or S~V~S (the mod on duty) with any questions, comments or concerns.

Re: [FELT Mafia]: Day 1
No one has ever successfully defined "civ-like behavior." That's because there is no definition. If pressed, I would argue that stirring the pot is a much more civilian tactic than a Mafia trait.Boogs wrote:A proactive Civ? All I have seen is him act unusual and try to "stir the pot" to get certain people to cause conflict. Doesn't seem Civ like behavior in the least to me. Voting for a non participant always is a bad idea if you are Civ, and considering the game started a few hours on a holiday weekend before I can check in that he says he wanted to "get us to react" etc. doesn't feel any good to me. I'm most likely giving him my vote tomorrow. I don't what proactive Civ you see in him by most of the talk here about apples and off topic being helpful. Which makes me worried about you as well to say that about Llama.DFaraday wrote:I hope supatown stays a thing, I like it.
Also, I'm feeling like Llama is probably a proactive civ, so I need to look over the rest to see where I stand on the board. Most players haven't made much impression so far.
I also fail to see why voting for a non-participant if you are a civilian is always a bad idea. That's a rather naive position. I have seen my share of Mafia coast right on through and even miss votes on purpose to know that it isn't necessarily a bad idea at all.
In your estimation, then, not participating (including not voting, which is how civilians get rid of Mafia) is more civ-like behavior than gauging reactions.

I would be far more suspicious of llama if he was not arrogant. Your post here also includes an either-or fallacy: "Either he's being weird on purpose, or he's confident his teammates can assure he isn't going anywhere for a while for the behavior he has been showing the thread..." I can come up with several alternatives to this statement, such as llama being decidedly ordinary. As for the notion that llama is confident that his teammates can assure he isn't going anywhere for a while, look at the votes and tell me if that's working out for him.Boogs wrote:I'm not cranky, I'm saying it's very suspicious to me to make such a bold statement and assumption THAT early and be acting so cocky that he is sure he is awesome etc. He's really rubbing me the wrong way and Dfaraday trying to vouch for him that he's Civ isn't setting right with me either. I think he's acting very off compared to the games I have played with him recently. Either he's being weird on purpose, or he's confident you his teammates can assure he isn't going anywhere for a while for the behavior he has been showing in the thread, but in no way has he been contributing as a proactive civ as DFar stated.bea wrote:so boogsy - you are cranky at the llama because he didn't give enough time for low poster to check in before he started to suspect them?
Is that right? Or am I misunderstanding your point?
As for your claim that "in no way has he been contributing as a proactive civ," would you mind sharing who here HAS been contributing as a proactive civilian?

This post makes me suspect boogs. Voting him. Llama doesn't seem off enough, and ketterman's suspicion seems kinda silly.Boogs wrote:A proactive Civ? Boogs talk of what and what wouldn't a civvie do seems to be attempting to box llama into a very small definition is allowed to be civvie, and it doesn't seem right to me.

Re: [FELT Mafia]: Day 1
Ugh, it's a good thing I woke up before missing the lynch! 12-8 shifts, man. I don't know if I love this Keterman voters block at all. :/
However, I'm not exactly beyond suspicion of him or Llama. Keterman, while his reason for suspecting Llama rings genuine to me (I too wonder if Llama started the game waaay too eager and on the offensive), his defense to being called out on low-posting doesn't ring very true, imo. But that's all I have to go on with either, which is frustrating.
I feel like a tie is a dangerous thing here, but I can't shake the sense that something with the vote pattern reeks of a save attempt after not much discussion. I'm going to vote Llama. I've gone back and forth on this several times here, but I need to get back to bed so those who have not voted yet can make the final call.
It pains me to do so when you were pretty much the only other voice in this thread, but *votes thellama*

Re: [FELT Mafia]: Night 1
Day 1: Ferreting the Day Away

Something about Keterman smelled bad. As in rancidly bad. Epignosis noticed. Dom got a big whiff. Metalmarsh covered his nose with a handkerchief.
"It's not me!" Keterman protested.
"Well, I smell a rat!" said Elohcin, edging closer.
"I'm not so sure about this," worried Roxy.
"Let's get him!" charged Boogs. The group descended upon him.
"Just watch his facial hair!" shouted thellama73, glad the group didn't turn on him in the end.
Just before Kterman was rendered into oblivion by the crew, an army of ferrets unfurled themselves out of a dumpster and rushed to do the dirty deed themselves.

"We aren't so sure this is the right guy," said Bill Cosby, a ferret wearing a peach sweater.
"Yeah, but we''re ferrets, so what do we know," said Noam Chomsky, a ferret wearing a blue sweater.

Keterman has died. He was The Big Felt Rolls.
It is now Night 1. You have 24 hours to send in your night actions.

But funny thing some are too dumb to notice.thellama73 wrote:Roxy wrote:Good grief!!! Why paint such a HUGE neon sign on Boogs right as night begins????thellama73 wrote:Sorry Keterman. Self-preservation and all that, old sport.
I am now more inclined to think Boogs might be Keterman's partner in (lack of) crime.the baddies are going to kill someone. They might as well kill someone who's trying to lynch me. Anyway, I have never bought into the whole "if we don't point out that someone is likely civ, the baddies will be too dumb to notice" idea.

You are limited to half the number of players, so when we get down to 7, the total Night Poll options will be 14 in number, allowing you to choose 7.Epignosis wrote:I tried to vote for all the options except "rainbow" (because rainbow isn't a color just like the NFL is not a player). However, I get an error message saying I tried to pick too many options.

I voted for all the colors mentioned in this song.

Well if anything good came out of this, the pool table/housey thingy don't have to be worried about accidentally getting themselves killed now. Hopefully that can give civvie some type of advantage.

RIP Ket, sorry.
I was in a hurry.
I didn't click on "view results" or whatever it says before voting....I didn't even think toEpignosis wrote:Elohcin wrote:I am doing school with the kiddos, finishing up laundry from our camping trip, and the kids have gymnastics at 11am. May I add, I know some of you watch the thread and probably have seen me signed in for a while, but truth is, I signed in to try and catch up but have not sat down to look at the thread til now....so even though I have been signed in, I haven't had a chance to read anything.

Interesting...big felt rolls had btsc with felt samples. I will go back and read to see if anyone was trying to defend Keterman.

Seeing as this is Night 1, please let me know if you have any questions about your roles or night powers.

Re: [FELT Mafia]: Night 1
Hmm, no defense that I saw. So, as some of you have been talking about low-posters already, I would guess Felt Samples is among them. If I were Felt Samples, I would try to speak up on behalf of my BTSC partner as much as I could without info-dumping.Elohcin wrote:Interesting...big felt rolls had btsc with felt samples. Rip Keterman :/ I think it's lame he got killed when he didn't even do anything. And Llama you aren't making me feel any better about you trying to accuse me of a role and say you don't care if I die since I suspect you instead of trying to change my opinion on your behavior.

Of course I care if you die. But if someone has to die, I would rather it be someone who's trying to kill me, all things being equal.Boogs wrote:Rip Keterman :/ I think it's lame he got killed when he didn't even do anything.
