I didn't read DH as specifically targeting you with that statement. You seem to me to be jumping to the defensive pretty quickly... especially since I didn't find your vote for MM particularly humourous
or... antical?
Anyways, that made you my best choice for a Day One vote.

Actually, your reaction seems more fishy than his. I find that baddies like to vote early on, so they don't seem like bandwagoning. They find a small thing they can latch on to, and use it as a reason to vote. Granted, there are no really good reasons to vote on the first day, but I don't think I like the way you just jumped on him like that.

I think all the early votes today are weird. On Day One, more than any other day, we need as much time as possible to pick up on subtle pings.

It was directed at both yourself and Metalmarsh. Both of you pulled early votes, with identical reasoning (even if your reasoning had slightly more merit than Metalmarsh, since I assume you voted for him not for "no reason" but rather because of his vote.)
He voted quite early and gave a terrible reason for doing so. You voted quite early and parroted his reason, I'm guessing as a joke. I found that situation funny.
I wouldn't go so far as to say either vote was a legitimate attempt at playing the game, though. If that were either of your intentions, you probably would have waited a bit to throw down a vote.

Wut? I know | missed a lot of games, butt this would often get Llama, myself, Vmops, Matt lynched in the early stages of the game k.

I speak from personal experience when I say this:
Trust me, "humorous antics" has nothing to do with why that grouping of players is lynched frequently. At least not in games I've been a part of.

Logically speaking, you ate correct. I had zero reason for my vote, meaning that Sawyer's vote has a value of say -1, and LC is somewhere between that and negative infinity.

I didn't see anything that I would consider any type of day 1 tomfoolery. Maybe mafia has changed during my recent absence.

DH's post was a continuation of the "straightforward mafia tactics" talk that you speak of, the way I read it. If you had never responded the way you did, I don't think anyone would have said "Weird that rey didn't respond to DH's allegations". If I got up in arms about it, LC, I would be badgering DH about the comment instead of just making the 1 post. If my up in arms-ness was just in a single post, I would think that single post would be a good deal longer than what it was. Up in arms, to me, indicates making a federal case out of it. Not almost immediately moving off of it.

I just read your post again. Maybe something is lost/gained in translation because it's pure text, but I think the situation called for, at most, a "Was that at me, DH?"
You put a string of three increasingly defensive questions in one paragraph.

Linkitis: That's fine, rey. I am not planning on getting up in arms about this, it's a Day One vote, not a lynch train. Also, watch those shrugs. I got accused last game of too many shrugs, and that was a non-committal baddie tactic.

IDK if DH meant to imply it per say, but I think he was hoping someone would.
And since I'm gonna say what I mean, I'll just come out and say it. I think DH didn't want to be accused of implying anything so he laid the "this is just too funky" breadcrumb hoping someone would pick it up and run.
FWIW, I don't think "making a federal case out of something" is that uncommon of a phrase. Heck MY parents said it a lot. (Usually when we were whining about something being unfair.)
