That, and spreading hate about The Flash - which frankly I do not understand. If he hates The Flash then why sign up and complain in every post?

I personally think MR has created a great game that will be fun to play!
I've been watching The Flash on TV and it's pretty cool, but I'm even more impressed by Flash as a superhero with things I have read about him.

I don't hate the flash. I have no idea what the flash is. The only comic I read is Baby Huey.

Reds still projected at 75 wins this season. I'd be ecstatic with a .500 season.

Hey, sorry for getting here late. This is going to be a busy week for me. Hopefully, I'll be more active next week.

A lot of fluff. Day 0 always feels like a contest of who is funnier, which always makes it easier for baddies to blend in. LC seems the most helpful. I'd call him out on it :p , but I've been told he does that analysis every game, so that means nothing. I'd expect Epi to say a little more than crack a joke about a sidekick at this stage, about the roles, the alignments or whatever, so I'll be keeping an eye on him.
I have no idea what llama's angle is, but I don't find it helpful, because it's drawing a lot of attention (at least it feels like it to me)

That said, llama, from what I know about the Flash, his speed doesn't result in just running fast. He can vibrate '(himself and other things), he heals faster than normal people and can do other cool stuff (which I don't remember). He's also sort of a smart ass, and probably the "lightest" superhero, so he's more fun to watch at times. As for Superman and Flash, here's their race in the animated series

I realize all my posting last night was fluff, but frankly it is Day 0, fluff is pretty common. I am just enjoying the start of a new game. The only thing of interest I noted was in LC's role summary. I found it interesting that he qualified the independent rogues as being civilian, claiming they have to be killed by the New Rogues. There is no reason I can see to think this would be the case. New Rogues' win con says all opposing factions, the Independent Rogues say they can win simply by living until the end of the game. There is nothing here that implies they are an opposing faction, why would you assume that the New Rogues need to kill the Independent Rogues?

You might be right, and then the Independent Rogues could choose to try to help the baddies win at some point. I did ask the host to clarify that very fact:
Long Con wrote:
THE "ARCH-VILLAINS" :jedi: (3)
Each of these characters have been The Flash's biggest threat from time-to-time. They have unique conditions for winning that the Rogues are not aware of at this time.
Probably good to kill these guys. Host: Do these guys count as an "opposing faction" for the New Rogues' win condition? Do the Independent Rogues?
I did assume at first that "all opposing factions" meant everyone else in the game, but then I rethought it and asked the host.

It's true, I enjoy doing an analysis at the outset of a game. Generally, it can help people think of strategies, ways to use roles in creative ways. In this game specifically, I needed (and so I assumed others needed) some clarification on who needs to do what to win.

Who told you that I do this analysis every game?

Yeah, that's it. He's really pushing the Monkey, like, more than a passing comment on something he finds peculiar. I don't really know why he's doing it. He seems like he wants attention so far in this game.

I've only played on map game, the Island game that BR and LC hosted on RM. I wanna say that was close to a 10x10 grid. I don't remember how we chose starting points in that game tbh. But there's no guarantee that MR is going to use his map the same way that LC and BR did in their game so I'm curious to see how it plays out.

I've played one map game, but it's been a long time since I played it. If I recall correctly, players were sorted into starting points based on their roles, though roles were not revealed at the beginning of the game, so that didn't reveal any information. Rather than a plain grid though, we had an actual map, not unlike what LC set up for the Monopoly game.

Linki @Soneji: We do typically do Day 0 here to let players check in, and sometimes (like in this game) to include a poll that can influence the game.

I don't know, I am just interrogating odd things I see.

Which reminds me. Nothing huge, but I noticed both FZ and daisy doesn't mention me in their posts. Both of them kind of allure to how fluffy posts were yesterday, and both mentioned LC and his contribution and how it was the only thing of note. Was I invisible? I did post jokes but I was like one of the only other serious posters. Could be subtly playing it off by not drawing attention to it and hoping I shut up by myself. But that's just a theory at this point.
