Also I’m with spf and want to hammer in the fact that we probably just need one mafia flip to break the game open here, or at least have a much better understanding. It feels kind if chaotic right now, but it feels more chaotic than it is, because the solution is there. So if you’re town, just do all you can to get there.

It’s not really about it being brave as mafia, I just think it would be unstrategic as well, as it would actively box in his then potential team more. I just wanted to know if you had consudered this tbh. I think there’s basically no way he’s mafia.

They could be mafia teammates
They fit together pretty well as mafia teammates

Note: as always I did not write meticulous notes to be posted for this, as it becomes spammy. Instead anyone can ask me to expand on any block and, as time permits, I will try to do so.

When I do this I normally work with fewer levels, but I wanted to be extremely thorough about this one given my worries about the state of the game. Some quick takeaways:

- NAA doesn't have enough fits. Town.
- Sloonei doesn't have enough fits. Town.
>> Each of them has three technical fits, but those fits don't fit with each other.

- Tony can probably be assessed on mechanical bases instead of this.

- ilario, Johanna, and Marmot are all close to meeting the same standard, but technically it is possible if my views are correct for them to be mafia.

- Dolby, falcon, G-Man, and Lime Coke all fit together as pairs, meaning that is a viable mafia team. I would call it my lead theory.

- Some other foursomes that technically can work:
>> Johanna, ilario, Dolby, G-Man
>> Johanna, ilario, Dolby, Dizzy
>> Probably more, but I need more time to exhaustively work through it. Separate post maybe.

- Obviously I can be wrong about stuff. I can't worry about that. This is the result of my work.

Naturally G-Man fits with [nearly] everyone just by virtue of having the fewest posts to assess. Off-hand I probably could have separated him from NAA too. Shrug.

Best way to interact with this chart, I think, is to black out one's strongest town reads and then focus on the interactions remaining. Are they all mutually compatible (suspects of interest)? Is Jay's conclusion about a pairing agreeable?

My strongest scumreads at this moment are Lime Coke and Dolby.

I do like your team theory kinda. I'm unsure about Dolby bein' there because I thought the day 1 content was good. Day 2 hasn't been as great, so I'll give ya that.

I'm arrogant again and feel like the game is solved.

I removed my 6 strongest town reads... and they're all legitimately strong. That left me with the following POE pool:

Dolby
falcon
G-Man
Johanna
Lime Coke
Son of Anarch

Within that set, Johanna only has two fits. So she can't be mafia with these premises accepted.

Thus we're left with only two teams that can work:

Dolby, falcon, G-Man, Lime Coke
Dolby, G-Man, Lime Coke, Son of Anarch

Put another way, the mafia team is: [Dolby, G-Man, Lime Coke] plus one of [falcon, Son of Anarch].

This solve is pretty similar to where my reads have trended. I still feel that G-Man has done little enough to read him one way or the other, but that still puts him in the PoE.

Note:

If there’s a general consensus that Lime Coke and G-Man have a similar likelihood of flipping mafia, I suggest eliminating Lime Coke first. It’d be same risk-higher reward and I believe better for the health of the game on the chance of a town flip either way.
