Ten minutes remain. I refuse to use my vote to save myself.
You may be eliminating someone you don't like, but you won't be eliminating Mafia.

Shame about Epig's probable lynch. Hopefully he's bad, but I really doubt it. Why aren't you going to save yourself, Epig?
I'm nervous about Daisy. She did end up being my biggest suspect at end of day, but I definitely need to sleep on my thoughts regarding the matter. This lynch should be interesting upon reflection.

Shoot, thought vote would be at midnight, now I don't have time to read through everything.
Would the proper etiquette be to vote for myself?
Or should I vote for Epig based on earlier suspicions?

As for an explanation--again, not caught up, but his constant refusal to explain himself seemed really suspicious, especially when he pretty much just joked around when confronted about it, and gloated about how he could get people to follow his lead and vote how he wants. (Something along the lines of: "I vote enrique, enrique takes votes. I vote juliets, juliets takes votes.") Even more suspicious when at least one of those people turned out to be civ.

Sorry for missing the vote. Saying goodbye was rough today, and I really don't feel good. I still am way way behind but I promise I will be all caught up in the next day or two. I apologize again to everyone playing and especially the hosts. I've hosted enough to know how frustrating it is when players don't play, but I'm not usually that person and to make it up to the hosts I'm getting some Dr.Who to watch tomorrow while I catch up

I detect that the "thanks" is sarcasm. That sentence had nothing to do with you. Mafia expects me to vote elsewhere to save myself. I refuse to roll over. My finger remains pointed where it has been pointed.

Wandering around the planet of Alzarius, The Doctor decides he needs a break from all these chatty humans. He decides to play a game of chess.
While he was gone, the crowd grew restless again.
"Two more people died last night. We're in some serious danger here. We don't even know why we're at this planet." Enrique points out.
"We have to trust The Doctor. I'm sure he has a plan." responds Zeek.
"I say we take matters into our own hands. We know that whoever this Valeyard person is put spies among us. At any moment one of you are going to turn on us and kill us all. We have to find the spies!" MP points out.
"Yes. First Bea and Teefies, then MR, then TH. This has to stop! I say it's Enrique!" Says Epi.
"You're not really helping anyone yourself buddy." Enrique retorts.
"I don't know Enrique seems ok to me. He uses bigger words in mafia, but other than that, he doesn't seem odd." Dana points out.
MP looks at the crowd sheepishly. "I'm starting to doubt everyone. I'm even worried about Daisy."
The crowd grows as more and more people add their suspicions to the growing list. SVS grabs Daisy and LC grabs Epi. "We need to keep our eyes on these two. They both look pretty rotten and we don't want one of them sneeking off to try to escape!"
The crowd grows larger and debate gets more and more heated. Finally by just a couple of votes, it's decided that Epi is most definitely BAD.
"You all are wrong. I'm mean, uncarring, dogmatic, sarcastic, caustic, likely drunk, pedantic, a heck of a cook, a lover of good books, an amazing father, not too awful of a husband now that I got my wonderful wife a dishwasher, enegmatic, stoic, antisocial, and loud, but I'm not bad." He tries to tell them as they put his head in a noose and hang him.
As his body sways back and forth, The Doctor runs out of the TARDIS. "What have you lot done????? I turn my head for one minute to try to work out where we need to go for our next clue and you go off and kill another person??? Are you mad???
Here's a list of places we need to travel to next. How about you focus on trying to decide which one we should visit? If you could do that without upping the body count any that would be brilliant!" he growled at them as he stormed back into the TARDIS.
Epignosis has been Lynched. He was K9 and he was a Good Dog.
Effective imediately - Juliets will be replacing Nikki. Turnip Head will be replacing Boogs. Both will be immune from targeting N2 and from being Lynched D3 so that they may catch up. Sorry you had to drop out Nikki and Boogsy. Thank you for stepping in JC and TH!

Not caught up yet, but I thought I'd be helpful and provide some summaries of the planets. Information taken straight from the wiki and a bit from my own head.
Clom wrote:Clom, also spelt Klom, was the twin planet (or sister planet) of Raxacoricofallapatorius.
Raxacoricofallapatorius is the home of those fat green farting aliens that everyone hates.
Clom was the home of that weird fat green alien from the episode where that one girl turns into a tile or whatever.
Also notworthy: It was one of the planets stolen by the Daleks (taken by the Daleks?? might tie into "if taken" in Dalek Sec's secrets) to be taken to the Medusa Cascade. They wanted to explode it (and the other planets) but were stopped by the Doctor.
Darp wrote:Tryst used a CET to collect samples on his expedition to catalogue flora and fauna from many planets in the galaxy (including Zil, Vij, Darp, Lvan, Bros, Gidi, Ranx, and Eden)
Not much I can find on this, it doesn't even have a wiki page. Apparently some human xenozoologist visited it to take samples of its plant life. This guy went on to accuse Doctor 4 of smuggling, but was exposed and arrested.
Grolon wrote:Grolon was a planet whose "baleful plains" were visited by Captain Cook.
That's all it says. Sounds innocent enough.
Worth noting though: "Captain Cook was an intergalactic explorer who travelled with Mags, a werewolf." "Eventually, despite sending others to their deaths in the ring, Cook and Mags ended up as an act [in a circus] along with the Doctor, where Cook turned Mags into a werewolf and set her on the Doctor. He was killed by Mags but returned to life by the Gods of Ragnarok as their pawn to stop an important medallion getting into the Doctor's hands." "He never showed any remorse or guilt, claiming to follow the rules of the "survival of the fittest". He enjoyed tea-time and drinking tea. "
Karn wrote:Karn was once a colony planet of Gallifrey. It was later the home of the powerful Sisterhood of Karn and bolt-hole of the Time Lord criminal Morbius.
I haven't watched the original eposodes of the Sisterhood of Karn, but from what I understand from the WIki, they are an all-female group and were in posession of the Elixir of Life which would be used to extend their lives and could "be used to heal serious injuries, or even (at least in some circumstances) to bring the dead back to life. Time Lords occasionally used it when undergoing a difficult regeneration."
It is also, I believe, the place where Doctor 8 made his transformation into the War Doctor.
It was also a sanctuary for a "malevolent" Time Lord, Morbius, but I know absolutely nothing about that story, and it sounds somewhat complex, so if anyone wants to explain that, go ahead. It's mentioned on the wiki:
I've bolded parts that might be of interest.
It will be a miracle if I got all that formatting right and I didn't miss any crucial details. Again, anyone with more info feel free to add on, I don't want to be accused of redacting anything. :P
All of the planets are really pretty vague, with the exception maybe of Kolm. I'm tempted to suggest going there--maybe that Elixr can save a dead person or something--but it's possible that the hosts would expect us to choose the most recognizable planet and maybe make it bad or disappointing.
Idk, I think right now I'm leaning towards Periboea (assuming that's what the hosts meant by Perbia). Hopefully that dead man walking is a good thing and not a bad thing. If both Kolm and Periboea offer resurrection, I'd rather deal with some explorer/warewolf duo than with an evil Time Lord. Gonna leave my vote there unless someone can come up with a better reason to go somewhere else.

I'm sorry, just finished catching up. Looking at the events just before the lynch, lots of things happened since I first personally accused Epi of being suspicious. That being said, I will stand by my vote and refer to my original post on the subject of Epi as my reasoning. My vote and explanation tonight were both very rushed, and I wish I had had the time to read up on it beforehand. Maybe I would have voted for someone else, but that being said, even if I had voted differently, Epi would have still had the majority tonight.
As for the obnoxious vs. suspicious: I'm not really used to that playstyle yet, and to me, when I first looked over Epi's posts, it just seemed strange that an innocent player would act so hostile without any proof to back himself up.
On that note, I really shouldn't be up at a quarter to four in the morning.

RIP Epig.
This isn't true.
How is this not true?
In the last few hours of the lynch, there were over 7 pages of posts (at least, in my post per page settings) and you're telling me there wasn't rushing going on? It felt like a mad house as I read. You're simply disagreeing with me to disagree with me or you're telling an alternate narrative to fit your needs. I'm sorry I was right about what would happen if we spend half the day not discussing anyone, but you don't get to say I was wrong. At the beginning of the decoding stuff, Epig was not a real lynch candidate... he wasn't until very late in the day, if I recall correctly.
Your version of the facts is so skewed. It's a world where I don't want anyone to decode anything (far from the truth), a world where I think you're bad (though, you make it easier to think that way), a world where I made up accusations against you (I pointed out one thing and you act like I've presented my closing argument), and a world where Epig's lynch wasn't a totally avoidable thing had we not rushed at the end (which it was).
Now I'm not tooting my own horn here, all I'm saying is: waiting until the end of a lynch to discuss anything creates a sense of panic amongst civilians. This panic can easily be manipulated by baddies. This is absolutely what happened with Epig. If I had time, I'd love to reread the interactions that lead to Epig being lynched.
