Re: Arkham Mafia [Day 1]
Zebra, I like you I really do but I've honestly felt that you've been a bit rude to me in this game. I have chalked that up to you being bad, because if you're not bad while saying some of the things you've said, I'll be a bit disappointed (no joke).a2thezebra wrote:People didn't think I had a good reason for refusing to give you that link and I had to explain that I had a reason. I'm sorry if you take issue with that reason but I'm only expressing how I felt I've been treated by you in these games, so it is not "needlessly talking crap." I think you're a great person and a great player but I would be lying if I said that I don't think you're capable of stooping to some pretty low levels to justify whatever your thought process is. I don't think you mean any harm in doing it but it has hurt me, so it's all the more infuriating to see you get mad at me just for saying that I think you're disingenuous a lot of times. I mean come the fuck on.Matt wrote:We've reached a point where you are needlessly talking crap about me (acting as if I think you're my mafia housewife I mean wtf??), so if that's where we're at, please contact Llama and stop bringing it to the game.a2thezebra wrote:Either it's "trash talk" or it's an act, I would never stoop to doing both at once. Make up your mind.Matt wrote:You've been the one to call me fake and my suss of you pathetic, and I've been disrespectful of you? K.a2thezebra wrote:Man I wish I were you right now, or anyone else. Catching a glimpse of the bullshit that I've been dealing with and being blissfully unaware of just how much of it Matt has thrown at me non-stop. You guys are really better off as human beings by skimming or outright skipping our back-and-forths. It's just amazing, flat-out impressive how one can completely ignore and dismiss one person and simultaneously think that that person owes them content and a nicer attitude at the same time. I don't think I could write a character as disrespectful as Matt has been to me this game.Dom wrote:Matt, it's not like the post didn't exist hours ago. You could have found it.
You seriously think getting called "fake" in a game that literally revolves around deceit is disrespectful but everything that I've said that you have done isn't?
I think we should contact Llama Zeebs because I've had about enough of your trash talk.
Linki - Nah and I doubt I "broke" Zebra either. Gotta be an act.
@ Dom - I'm not trying to manipulate you against him, I'm just losing my shit.
Anywho, my burger king has arrived and then I'm gettin' down on some old school x files for about 2 hours. I SWEAR, before I go to sleep, though, I will answer your post in full.
Also, does anyone think Robin stopped the lynch? Peace

Obviously they didn't because some were suspecting me for not co-operating, or saying that I could've brought it up a hundred times during the back-and-forth. Again, I'm sorry it got carried away.Enrique wrote:People get it. We're just not super invested in it.

These two are kind of what I'm talking about. Though, I was very frustrated with some players in that game, so I think my judgement in how trite you were is clouded. However, I will say you were vindictive in that game.

Would anyone be willing to follow Matt's formula here? Three players per location to keep the others in check? I spoke against it before but the numbers actually kinda work out.

Especially useful now before the Mafias have bought their cops and can coordinate with them.

Re: Arkham Mafia [Night 1]
Sorry I didn't vote. Like I said, I'm behind and thought I had at least a little bit of time to catch up but I was wrong. I'll have to catch up later after work.
Linki- I'm not opposed to it Enrique but it really comes down to I'm going to go where I want to go, so... I guess that means I should vote early in the night polls so I don't have to be "forced" to somewhere I don't want to go to.
Linki again- did anyone ask or have the hosts told us if it's going to be made public if the cop recruit was successful or not?

Never mind about that cop recruit question... I just saw that they pick a # not a player. So I guess for night 1 at least there will for sure be a recruit. But after that if the Mafia family chooses a # and that player happens to have been lynched or night killed it would fail.
So Hosts: will we be told if the recruit is successful?

You are using a WIFOM argument on me basically and the things you seem to be getting mad at people for (ignoring/tunnling) you seem to be doing to me?a2thezebra wrote: If you're wondering why I think you're more likely to be genuine than sig is, it's because I've seen you do this as rogue (Star Wars, again, ironic, because you keep bringing it up to describe me when it's not even remotely a valid comparison) before and I think you can do it to an extent as town as well. I don't want to take that risk when I just see no possible way that sig was genuine with his advocating map discussions. With you I can see that because you weren't as demanding about it as he was, and you haven't expressed suspicion of anyone simply for not agreeing with you (with that at least anyway).
Also I believe Enrique or you said, when I defended myself I used WIFOM tell me how am I supposed to defend myself when neither of you actually build a case, you discount what I say to defend myself, and just generally refuse to consider my point of view?
I can't tell if this is joking or not, if not I was like four pages behind, less then two minutes before the deadline, and unsure of the top two, I voted for the player who I was more suspicious of. Even if info isn't given this will help the mafia hide among voters and gather more intel with no explanation, and either way info sharing or no, this is still a complete 180 from your previous view?Enrique wrote:Except I'm not advocating for info sharing? Hold your horses, all this does is make sure nobody pulls any info out of their ass.

Re: Arkham Mafia [Night 1]
? The Mafia doesn't need this plan to vote. lol. They're not getting anything they wouldn't otherwise, why is that an argument?
sig I said "you did a bad thing" and you said "why would I do that if I were bad?" That's... that's exactly what a WIFOM is.

Re: Arkham Mafia [Night 1]
Any pattern we could see from voting will be gone. First it is a genuine question you never actually seemed to answer? I gave good points for why I believed we should share info it and you ignored them. This was also the most suspicious thing you found for the entire day that you voted on it?

Scotty says he likes to vote low posters day 1. He selects two low posters. One has shown up and posted at absolute minimum, the other just got replaced at the end of the day because they hadn't shown up. He excuses the one who had shown up because that player was new to the site. He did not offer the same privilege to lovedesic who is also new to the site. This picqued my interest.
He then claimed he only votes people he has "concrete evidence" on-- that's why he won't vote for his one suspect, MP. But get this-- people with no posts can have that exact logic applied to them. So... why the person who hasn't posted at all over MP?
Overall, Scotty has been inconsistent at best and absolutely unable to come up with any rationale at worst.

Skimmin to figure out how I nearly ended up on the receiving end of a lynch.
2nd History? History tells crap! My mafia play time compared to civ is like 90:20! What good references did you use to come to this conclusion? Pikmin? (which I barely played?) Home alone? (Where I was NK'd day 1 as cop) Tree? Where the first two days of the game I go "hey someone else lead me") or maybe realm reborn, where I, as a civ, got lynched because of how little I was playing while having, guess what, an option to remove myself from the poll.
I guess I'm just skimming amd I haven't seen the full picture, but I had to stop there and say something regardin these shenanigans.
(I'm also noting that the two people that had my eye voted me...)
Also, riddle me this, what does a player feigning intrest look like compared to a player disinterested?
