Yeah, I got nothing. That's what I get for doing a gutread list without looking back at D1 first.

Nova's tone felt genuine when he wouldn't provide old games he was in. A few other posts felt genuine. But the actual content was just not there, and his absence/softreads could be attributed to nerves.

Note that he did give a couple of decent questions and one scumread... on Mac.

I'd still just throw the guy at null.

Sig’s participation isn’t great but is judgement is generally sound. He openly vouched for Lon Con (at a time that I recall he was taking some heat) so the fact that Sig was Town I think suggests he (Lon Con) could be a few places further up that list. I’m also slightly perplexed as to why Novasalinever is ranked so high, I can’t recall anything from them to justify that. I don’t know that I’d rate JoH quite THAT high and I’ll confess, I’m really starting to warm to Kyle.

Here's my problem. There's 6 players between a player I barely think is town and a player I barely think is bad. This whole list reads more like a "who is trying" list and with the Day 2 we just had, that's dangerous.

Still, I'm pretty confident of my Wilgy read and that's the most important bit.

Isn't that literally Eloh in every game?

When given the chance to catch up and take the lead because of players who would normally dominate discussion (Jack, Jimmy, Sloonei, Quin) being quieted one way or another, she told everyone to stop messing around so we could figure out who to lynch....then didn't do anything.

I think it's a fine line. Here's the post itself:

There's a sort of stubborn confidence in there that I don't see coming from scum. I also think she has a tell which I'm not seeing yet, but I'm more likely to see that after she's had some pressure put on her.

I think we saw average Elohcin activity on Day 1, but that did drop Day 2. I'd have to fact check that but it sounds right to me.

Mortal kombat theme isn't even a game I've played once, ever so that alone was challenging, I figured it was part of the game to act according to everbody's erratic behaviours, what do I make of that?! Dunya is bad for starting it.

1. Sig is always wishy-washy
2. Waffley behavior is a textbook EZ suspicion to put on mislynches, when it can really go both ways. Town can be genuinely uncertain as easily as mafia can be nervous
3. Sig couldn't defend easily, and this is a mostly brand-new suspicion. That's the reason I'd rather have gone with a D1 case. Now we're back to square one.
4. Sig's lynch gained momentum too easily. If half the scumteam wasn't on it, I will eat a Kansas CD.

Dunya replaced in, and her first action was to go through the thread, pick the easiest mislynch possible, and drive it home while Sig couldn't defend himself and no better cases could be made. Screw that.
Okay cool post, this definitely helps, so dunya started the sig lynch, wonder why others followed suit.

What I figured and why I didn’t target there. This could have been cleared up if less people were completely debilitated.

On Glor: I’m trusting the prevailing meta read on Glor being town, but I really don’t want to.

My point is most of us were not speaking in tongues.

Easy for baddies to hide behind "being confused."

I literally quoted her and told her saying she was confused and told her to pay more attention to what's going on around her. I quoted her asking why everyone was talking funny and told her it was because of the chaos realm. I quoted her talking about clues, said to trust me and then pointed out baddie behavior.

All of which received zero response, even though she made posts in between.

There's being confused and there's not trying. I don't see the townie motivation here.

I think nutella and Eloh were the only two who were able to make a concise point yesterday. The top of the affliction scale, if you will. It was hard for me to see the point behind dunya's and speedchuck's lyrics and Jays quotes half the time.

Personally, I think we both have a skewed perspective as people who'd try and get something done regardless of the circumstances. If a new, novice player (I can count the games she's played on 1 hand) had that thrown at their face, do you think they'd be more likely to get scared off, or that they'd buckle down and get to business?

I'm not surprised that she'd fluster when half the thread showed up speaking in tongues, regardless of her alignment.

Like I said, I ignored most posts > took them as not any benefit posts were just redundant. that part was my bad, instead of freaking out assuming nobody cares of sloonei death, I should have payed more attention that is correct. you'd just be as conflictes as me if given this situation, not gonna doubt that, for sakes, I was ready to give up on the game. Anyways thanks for heads up if this ever happens again in future mafia games

I've already said what I had to say, no further investigating it seriously, I'll leave it at that if you still think im "bad", so be it.

This mass insanification thing probably won't happen again. Except for the game I just reserved. Insanifications usually only affect one player a night so they're more manageable.

What do you think about Elohcin and Wilgy? What's your read on Jack?

I think nutella and Eloh were the only two who were able to make a concise point yesterday. The top of the affliction scale, if you will. It was hard for me to see the point behind dunya's and speedchuck's lyrics and Jays quotes half the time.

Personally, I think we both have a skewed perspective as people who'd try and get something done regardless of the circumstances. If a new, novice player (I can count the games she's played on 1 hand) had that thrown at their face, do you think they'd be more likely to get scared off, or that they'd buckle down and get to business?
I guess we'll find out.

Once upon a time, I was a neutral bounty hunter/masoner but I could only say "I am Groot" via BTSC. I targeted ColonialBob on Night 2 even though I was almost certain he wasn't my target because he's a smart chap and he was able to figure out like...40% of what I was trying to tell him by using just those words, including a rainbow list, evaluations of claims and my own win condition. Helped me and the town both win.

So maybe I have unrealistic expectations. :ponder:

I don't think they're unrealistic. But I think they're rigid.

Quin yeahhh n/a on Elohcin ( not sure what her role indicates) & DrWilgys responses were just emoticons..
Jack has a right to be suspicious of me but if he was in my shoes he'd understand, but I dont blame him for accusing me as bad, by all means go ahead. hoping that will change later in game though.

I wanna ask novaselinenever if this mafia experience has been difficult to grasp given that he's also new. I'd imagine so.
