Yes Colin and Marmot are highly questionable and extremely compatible with scum Sloonei.

Let me give you some intel. Sloonei is not a fool. He is a very good player. If you are reading his posts and town reading him that is of no surprise. My case is not about his post content, it's entirely based on analysing the underlying intention behind his play. Players like Sloonei don't get lynched for post content. So don't give them credit for it.

Regardless, I am not a big fan of this vote. @ColinIsCool if you were to have ranked the three main wagons (nova, sig, epi) in order of preference at the time of this vote, how would that list have looked?
my vote came later i think, i voted near the end of the phase

Okay junior. Don't come in here and try to shit all over my work without explaining why all of a sudden you have such a great town read on him that you want to completely take him off the table. Explain why.
I never said he's town but I'm fairly certain he's not mafia. Refer to my post where I said I will address this later on. That doesn't mean we should ignore him, but I'm less worried about him for now. He ISNT off the table yet for me.

I'm much more sure of Colin being scum as I've mentioned him with more certainty than his buddies.

I had the thought that Sloonei was a possible member of the Hellenic League too, but quite frankly I don't give a crap and if we lynch him and he flips any of those three I would consider that a net positive given they have the future capacity to be scum anyway. I'd also consider it slightly less likely mathematically than him just being outright Persian.

Defenses are overrated. They should largely be ignored. If someone was scummy they were scummy and all listening to them say shit does is give yourself a chance to second guess yourself. You probably want him to defend himself because he's your scummate.

Meh. I think killing Epi links it to no one. That’s the only basis for the kill to me, as well as avoiding the doctor (I think there is one of those in this game). Like, he’s the one of the least obvious kill choices mafi would make.

Also why would they be “frustrated”? It’s not like he was making waves in the civ department.

I do think we can look at the loudest pushers of Epignosis's lynch, and I believe they are likely civilians.

Just want to point out that I do not nightkill Epignosis on Night 1. I've got that going for me.

1) Baddies include one or both of dunya and wolbre
2) Baddies want us to lynch one of dunya and wolbre
3) Baddies saw Epi's performance in GoC and are intimidated by him generally
4) Baddies just want to screw with us
5) Baddies don't know what is up

Anyone want to rank these theories?
I don't really want to rank them, that seems like pointless busy work to me. 6) Golden killed Epi and wants to control the narrative that ensues
This is how I'm feeling too.
Having just played a game where I faced accusations of “controlling the narrative” more than a few times: no.

That said I have some concerns about Golden that I want to flesh out when I have the energy for it.
You’ve demonstrated plenty of energy today.

Do you have any thoughts on his recent interactions with me? I find them malicious, but I could be biased just from being an involved member.

I can vouch for this, but again my point to jack.

I never thought you were bad anyway. Your brief case on daisy reeks town marmot.

Who doesn’t find doms interactions malicious when aimed at them? Dom has a way of questioning things no one else does, and when you’re in the heat of it can seem irrelevant or pointed, but in my experience it isn’t.

I can’t read dom for shit, so take my read for what it’s worth. He certainly was key to sigs lynch and I think he’s a pretty easy mark today.

I don’t really believe Sloonei has concerns with me. Flaws, perhaps, or outliers in behaviour in a general read, but I don’t think he reads me bad.

A quick read through Sloonei's post history brings up a few mentions of Golden. There are only a few of them (aside from the last hour) that weren't direct responses to Golden himself as a result of something Golden said. Those are quoted below.

But your vote is currently on him.
Weird how I was inactive and people discussed my meta.
I'll elaborate on this.

She's heard of my meta in games I never really played in? Really, my meta came up?

suspect af. who in btsc gave you an idea of my meta?
nah you were compared to other players to me in discord in the past when we were OT discussing prolific Syndicate mafia players.
Nope. Don't believe this.

[VOTE: dunya] aubergine
There is a consistent theme of dunya suspicion in LC's post history, but this is where he placed his vote. This is my least favorite point I've seen brought against dunya in the game, so I'm not crazy about it being the apparent straw that broke the camel's back for LC. He made a more substantial point against her here:

Golden wrote: Mon Apr 23, 2018 12:49 am The one that stands out the most right now is dunya's vote for scotty - I have no history with dunya, but dunya has no history with scotty. It's possible it stands out for 'culture clash' reasons.
I dunno. I prodded Scotty for info on his personality both from Scotty and others, and backed it up with a vote. My vote and questioning his motives and sincerity has created discussion. This is a good thing. We have 48 hours; my vote's moving all over the place before I make a more informed Day 1 decision.
This post strengthens my suspicion of dunya. Votes for pressure don't have a lot of teeth when you explain them away as harmless prodders.
I do the same thing sometimes... because I'm bad.
Me too. I think maybe it was the original Phenon when I was doing that, and I got called out correctly for it. That's precisely why I am sensitive to it now.
But I don't necessarily agree that that is suspicious. Dunya announced her vote as a pressure vote well after the fact, and being open about pressure voting on Day 1 was fairly standard on RYM, where dunya comes from.

Golden wrote: Mon Apr 23, 2018 8:23 pm For someone to think I’m bad in this game they have to believe...
You turn out bad and you'll never be able to say this phrase again. I'll be watching.
This post feels like it could be indirectly setting up a tinfoil case against Golden, and I don't love that.

I'd like to reads from LC on players not called dunya.

Sloonei accues Long Con of setting up a tinfoil case against Golden.

Random voting -> Scumtell

Anyway, I always work the evening shift so expect low to zero participation from 14:00 to 24:00
It's possible I could scrabble some posts here and there but my participation in this game will be from low to low-average.
It's a blast we get to play again together guys. Thank you Jay.
It's been a long time since I played a game with choutas, but I struggle to see how he can label "random voting" as a scumtell. Choutas is another player who has been predominantly focused on one suspect (Golden), and I don't agree with his reasoning at all. @Choutas give me other reads.

Sloonei asks Choutas for reads on players aside from Golden.

Addendum: I don't really know where these concerns he mentions stems from. If anything, Sloonei was turning other players' attention away from Golden, intentionally or not.
