Yeah a lot of the time I half-ignore or even completely ignore it myself although sometimes I can’t help myself. The post review function was installed here because the folks at LP and such were so used to it. Definitely doesn’t have to be used.

Yes I play as town in a self centred way. It is far easier for me to read the way people interact with me than read two people interacting with each other because I only have to figure out one person because I already know what the hell I am doing. I use myself as bait half the time.

I actually really like that aby pointed that out because it made me realize that I think I lost sight of that when you made that post that I freaked out over.

In a way it might actually be more town of you to focus on yourself. I would have to do some research to confirm this.

In my opinion we have a larger than normal volume of active participation in this game. In my view active participation is good because it forces the scum to continue to refine their perspectives which eventually leads to a collapse in logic that's visible, sooner. Basically "they can't hide forever".

With that in mind, I am very tempted to lead us towards removing the lower participants sooner so that we can maintain this high level of participation and remove those who are not giving us the ability to leverage the aforementioned perspective. ie. Marmot, Dharmahelper and to a lesser extent Colin and Turnip Head.

I don't necessarily disagree. I often end up in a similar place when Day 1 is a flurry of activity. Care needs to be taken though, because there is a fine line between lynching a low-end contributor who has a real reason to be viewed as a mafia candidate and just lynching someone who isn't trying via the easy button.

Hmmm... already I'm seeing some difference again between Alien's G9 and WC1 questions themselves, and I do think the questions here do mirror G9 more so as per my recollection if I had to choose. That said, I think it's a minor point, because I feel like Alien is a capable enough scum player otherwise... and I'll keep reading though.

I'm going to try to pick out how hedgey he was in both games because I feel like that's significant.
